Lynn Keeys
Dr. Lynn A. Keeys is a visiting research fellow at the Project Management Group, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and former part-time faculty at Boston University Metropolitan College. Bridging academic research with practice, Dr. Keeys has over thirty years of experience primarily in program and project strategy, including leading conceptualization and planning teams, establishing and leading strategy, project, program and portfolio management offices and program and project performance management and socio-economic analysis. Having worked in the international development field, she has important experience in international and intercultural settings. Dr. Keeys’ research interests are in project and program strategy, especially emergent and transformational strategy in complex multi stakeholder environments, projects as complex adaptive and social systems, and sustainable development as a holistic management approach. Her research methods prioritize the relationship between practice and theory through the development of models. She has presented her research on emergent strategy in the context of project sustainable development at several academic and practitioner conferences. Dr. Keeys is the 2012 winner of best PhD research paper at the Happy Projects! Conference and a finalist for the 2015 IPMA Young Researcher’s Award. Dr. Keeys is a member of editorial bodies for peer reviewed project management journals and reviewer for international academic conferences on project management. She serves on the program committee of the PMI Africa PM Conferences and leads the PMI South Africa Chapter PM Summits, as president of the PMI South Africa Chapter.
