My Cricut Craft Room - Scrapbook Friday Theme Baking / Kitchen

Happy Friday Everyone!! Thanks for stopping by today!

Today is Scrapbook Friday and today the theme is Baking / Kitchen. I am still in the process of scrapping the family favorite recipes. Today, I chose the Just Peachy Pecan Cake recipe. This one is super simple. I cut the peach from Preserves at 4 inches. I was hoping to add a couple of cuts on the page but 6 x 6 doesn't allow a lot of room once the recipe is typed out! The background paper is Imaginesce paper (see where it says Just Peachy?) and the striped ribbon came from Erica's store. Please check out all the items she has for sale!

For this hop, I wanted to make a recipe card for my husband's grandma's Cherry Delight. It is a favorite and something that is a tradition and always requested for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dinners. Grandma was one of the sweetest women that you would ever have wanted to meet and I was honored when she gave me this recipe. The recipe card itself was super quick and easy to put together.

First I cut the recipe card base 6 x 6. I cut a layer from the printed paper and cut it just slightly smaller probably about 5.75 x 5.75. Next. I attached my bow and ribbon which I found in stash in my ribbon jar. I typed out the recipe and printed it in red and matted it on matching red card stock. The final touch was the cute little cherry that I cut using Preserves. The cherry and all its layers were cut at 2.75"

Next on the hop is Beckie http://justbcreativecrazy.blogspot.com/
