Railway crossing
The Reunification Express, the Hanoi to HCMC line, has a number of street crossings on its way to Saigon station. It is not a bad way to see the countryside, however it is a pretty slow journey.

Sidewalk driving
One of the classic motorbike behaviours is to drive on the footpath if the traffic has come to a standstill on the actual road. I must admit I do it occasionally if I don't see any future in waiting for the traffic to clear. Can be great fun as long as you are not a pedestrian. This was taken on the dreaded Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh st around lunchtime.

You see these peddlers all over town. The load up their means of transport with goods and then, in this case, cycle them around town to where they can sell them. Easy
