The study of the amplitude of the pedagogical field promotes the construction of a theoretical
framework to support an adequate understanding of the educational process, synchronic and
diachronic. The characterization of the different theories and models in the development of
pedagogical thinking is promoted from the study eclectic pedagogical models, theories and models of
education so that students master critical concepts, principles, facts and ways of thinking and knowing
for education. The construction of a comparative view, scientifically justified and critical about the
different models of pedagogy and education will help students take ownership of attitudes indicative of
a profile of professional dignity.

Teste (50%)
Participação construtiva na análise crítica de textos, projetos e/ou temáticas em discussão (10%).
Emphasis will be teaching methodologies based on guided discovery, Socratic dialogue. Resources
are selected and developed diverse historical and educational, research work carried out and
presented problem situations as a starting point for the work to develop. Search will also encourage
the emergence of educational opportunities for exploration of the interconnections between the
concepts and practices. According to the typology of UC, promotes the integration of lectures, most
suited for the construction of program content by presenting the issues and integrating them in a
context consistent with the theoretical and practical lessons, where students work, fundamentally, the
group work which will be presented and discussed throughout the lessons.
Test (50%)
Constructive participation in the critical analysis of texts, projects and I or theme under discussion
(10%).

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit’s objectives:
The teaching methods used, based on guided discovery, Socratic dialogue and the analysis of
pedagogical documents, promoting dialogue and creating situations that allow the participation of
students in order to develop a joint reflection on the contents and both the critical area of the different
theories and models in the development of pedagogical thinking. The lectures, most suited for the
construction of program content by presenting the themes, integrated into a coherent context, promote
the construction of a theoretical framework to support an adequate understanding of the educational
process, synchronic and diachronic. With the theoretical and practical lessons, where students will
work primarily in groups in carrying out work that will be presented and discussed throughout the
lessons, will seek to promote the critical role and worthy of future educators, practicing is the distance
open and committed and stimulating clash of perspectives around the pedagogical problems.
