Books and bikes - Russia
A wonderful card from Tatiana in Russia that covers two things I like to see on postcards... Reading/Books and bikes. Great card.

Sepia bike
Nice sepia effect bike card sent to me by famalubel in Spain.
Unfortunately it's been blighted by the white-scuff-of-doom that the post office machines dish out :(

Bicycles
Wow! The last time I rode a bike was in childhood, I think. Maybe once or twice in the last few years but I could count the times on one hand probably. Nowadays if I could take the car from the bedroom to the bathroom I would. Ha! Lazy me!
These ladies and gent seem to have no problem hauling themselves AND a mighty big load to where they're going and seem happy to be doing it. If that was me in the photo I'd be the one weeping and complaining because I'd be a seething mass of protesting muscle-ache, LOL!
Thank you Jalutaja.
Cute stamp too.

Postman in 1910
From Finland a black and white bike card. The caption on the back says "Postman Kalle Pahja in the 1910's". Is Kalle Pahja the gentleman's name? I think it is.
Quite disappointed that the postmarking machine has put some ugly printing over his face. Of all the places it could have been and typically it ends up on the most important place!
