Furthermore, the yearly publication of the 300 documents rose from 1 in 1996 to 24 in 2022, with an average age of 6.08 years and a citation rate of 13.79 yearly. Remarkably, the number of publications on this subject accelerated in 2014. According to the study’s findings, the most productive country in line with research publishing is the USA. The most productive institution has been recognized as the Amrita School of Enginee...

The Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework was complemented with the individual context elements to develop the conceptual model for the present study. The framework was developed based on the two-pronged strategy: an extant literature review and a focus group interview with panel of experts. Subsequently, a questionnaire-based survey was conducted, and data from 111 SMEs were collected. The researchers tested the model and related hypotheses, employing multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that the firm size, competitive pressure, entrepreneur’s innovativeness, and IT savviness significantly influence the e-business adoption in SMEs. The findings and conclusions of the study, as well the future research prospects, are discussed.

The outcomes of the study will aid the S-ENT practitioners in the design and implementation of TBL framework in managing ...

Based on the findings of survey data, the researcher explored the HRM dimension in social enterprises. Several post survey interviews were also conducted with the HRM practitioners of select social enterprises. The analysis while identifying the HRM challenges in social enterprises lead to the discovery of two dimensions i-e authentic leadership and community engagement, which interestingly navigate many challenges of managing people in social enterprises. One explanation for this may be the lack of a suitable scale measuring entrepreneurship orientation of social entrepreneurial individuals. The purpose of this study is to address this gap by proposing an initial assessment tool for individual S-ENT orientation (ISEO). Design/methodology/approach A mixed methods research design, along with a two-stage Delphi process, helped in generating appropriate constructs for ISEO. While the items for the first dimension of scale were directly derived from the Delphi study, the items of the remaining dimensions were mainly found based on the three individual entrepreneurial orientation dimensions presented by Bolton and Lane. By means of exploratory factor analysis, the fi...

On account of their appropriateness, both the exploratory and descriptive research designs were chosen for the present study. Further, the study made the use of qualitative approach of data collection through focus group and in-depth interviews. The data analysis generated several pertinent issues which were perceived as affecting the implementation of NLRMP. The factors inter alia include: lack of technical competency in implementers; role ambiguity among the officials designated for implementation of NLRMP, lack of training and orientation to end beneficiaries (land owners/customers); lack of financial and material resources at record centers; lassitude of Government officials in motivating subordinates; resistance to change for technical adoption in government employees; and lack of support for solving contingency problems in digitalization process at record centers. Subsequently, the study proposed a few suggestions in this regard. The knowledge, appreciation and management of these factors will expectedly enable the Government and other stakeholders to take the strategic decisions and foster the successful implantation of the programme. The study simultaneously makes a novel contribution to the literature as such a study has not been undertaken so far.
