Santa's on His Way

 Good Morning Peeps,

I do hope you have all had a good weekend.  Lorna and I went to the Sincerely Yours Craft Show in Leigh yesterday, first show I have been to since covid began, it was nice for a change but there were not as many stands as there used to be.

Well here is the first Christmas card for this year posted for the start of challenges at Christmas with the Cuties where as always your project must be Cute and Christmassy but with the option of Something with a Sentiment.

For my card I used a Whimsy stamp coloured with Copics and paper pieced the sleigh, I fussy cut the image out and put it onto some embossed card, I used some kraft card to cut out the sentiment with a Sue Wilson die and also cut some snowflakes with a Crafter's Companion die and added some white Nuvo drops and some Diamond Frost glitter.

Birthday Bear

 Good Morning Peeps,

Hope you are all well and enjoying some of the sunny weather we have been having still a little cold but it makes such a change from the rain.  

We have a new challenge starting today over on Fab'n'Funky where I am hosting with my challenge of  "FOR A CHILD".  I made my card for my friend's granddaughter who was three a couple of weeks ago.

The image is from Lili of the Valley and I coloured with Copics, the paper is from Honey Bee Stasmps and I added a ribbon.

Birthday Flowers

 Good Afternoon All,

I have been busy all week trying to tidy up my craft room, as yet not looking much tidier even though I have tried to be ruthless and got rid of quite a lot of papers and things I have had for years and never use now.  I also threw out a pile of magazines that I had kept for ages meaning to read again but never got round to as the pile got higher.  Hopefully while I am in the mood will carry on next week while I seem to have some spare time.

I thought I would share this card with you today, I made it for my friend whose birthday is on Valentine's Day.

I found this image in my box already die cut and I have no idea where it is from, but I coloured with Copics, the papers are from My Favourite Things and I added a sentiment and some Nuvo Drops.

It’s another dry and hopefully sunny day today and after some frosty starts the days seem to be warming up a little so we have managed to get out for a couple of short walks this week which certainly makes me feel much better after all the rain of the past month or so.

Well we have a new challenge starting today at Fab'n'Funky where our lovely teamie Pat K is hosting with her choice of:

 

Valentine or Hearts

I decided to dust off one of my Hanglar stamps none of which have been used for ages, I coloured her with Copics then paper pieced her dress,  I fussy cut her and placed her on the doily on foam pads. I cut  heart from the same paper pad by MFT added the heart doily and sentiment.
