Anything Goes


A quick card for My Time to Craft Challenge this week which is "Anything Goes". Papers and topper were free from a magazine I added some Stickles Crystal glitter to the topper and some adhesive stones for the champagne bubbles. The flower is a silver Prima flower with a cream rose in the centre from which I have hung three tiny silver bells, three tiny buttons, a swirl cut from glitter paper and a Happy New Year peel off to finish.

The Last Christmas Card


I have been snowed in all day at home, the roads out of our village are covered in snow, hopefully it will have cleared a bit by tomorrow as I still have some food shopping to do before Christmas.
At least it means that I have managed to finish my last Christmas card which is for my husband. The stamp is a Sugar Nellie, coloured with Copics, papers are free from a magazine, with a border of bright blue glitter paper punched with Martha Stewart Stars border punch. I added a snowflake charm and computer generated greeting. I am going to enter this for the challenge at Simon Says which is "Merry Christmas".
I would just like to wish everyone who visits my blog a very Happy Christmas and a great New Year.

Z-Folds : My Time to Craft


My card today is for My Time to Craft challenge which this week is "Z-Folds". I folded my A4 sheet into three and cut a diagonal across the first two sides, the paper I used was a free one from a magazine. Stamp is Snowflake Daisy from Squiggle Stamps coloured with Copics and Crystal Stickles. The borders across the top of each section are white crystal glitter paper punched with Martha Stewart Lattice Arch edge punch. Finished with a white flower covered with crystal glitter, a tree charm and computer generated sentiment.

Yuletide Wishes


This week's challenge at My Time to Craft is "Yuletide Wishes" do join in if you can. I used an Anna Griffin stamp, stamped with Versacolour burgandy and embossed with clear ep onto a circle and scallop circle cut with Nestabilities. The papers are Bo Bunny, glitter paper from my stash and I cut the border with Martha Stewart Stars edge punch, and then used the cut out stars to edge around the circle and added a ribbon.

Magic Cupcake


A card today for the Recipe after the blog hop at There's Magic in the Air. At the end of the blog hop Nina had this free digital image for you to use in a card recipe as follows:
I coloured the image with Copics.
Use 1 tag - I used a tag and added a peel off greeting
Add 2 textures - Image matted onto paper put through Cuttlebug folder and one piece of lace.
Mix three pattern papers - mine were Basic Grey Sugared
Fold in four pieces of ribbon - One piece on tag and three loops of ribbon on side of image
Sprinkle with 5 brads or buttons - four brads around my image and one heart button.

O Little Town of Bethlehem


Not a lot of time for challenges at the moment but really wanted to enter the one at Rainbow Lady's, and I am on the last minute, the challenge to produce a card with the theme of a Christmas carol and to use a black base card. The stamp I used is a Wendie Rhodes and it represents Bethlehem to me. I coloured with Copics, the papers are Basic Grey and from my stash, the title is computer generated and I added a couple of adhesive stone stars and really kept it quite simple.

My Time to Craft - Christmas Foliage


Well at last I have found a few minutes to post, the time is flying by at the moment, I have been to the Christmas play of two of my granddaughters this afternoon, going to another one tomorrow and then have one next week.
Now back to my DT card for My Time to Craft Challenge which this week is Christmas Foliage. I have used an Anna Griffin stamp, stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy and embossed with clear ep, I then put Crystal Stickles on the top. The background paper is also Anna Griffin and the border beneath the image was made using a Martha Stewart edge punch and adhesives stones added. I finished with a bow and a Red Hot Bed sentiment.

Christmas Presents


Just Magnolia challenge this week is a sketch by Martine which hopefully I have followed. The stamp is a Christmas Magnolia coloured with Copics I added some tiny punched snowflakes with adhesive stones around the image. The papers are The Paper Studio, Bo Bunny and Basic Grey, the gold card was scalloped using a Martha Stewart edge punch. I punched a tag and added a computer generated sentiment and finished with two small buttons, die cut snowflakes and flower with pearls and adhesive stones in the centres. I am also entering this for the challenge at Stamp for Fun which is Christmas.

My Time to Craft - Winter Pals

Good Morning from a very cold and frosty Lancashire, everywhere was covered in white this morning so quite a suitable card for my DT card for My Time to Craft challenge this week which is Winter Pals, do join in if you can.
I used a Penny Black stamp coloured with Copics and added some small punched glitter snowflakes around the image. The papers are Imaginisce and Anna Griffin, I cut a swirl on the Cuttlebug and embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder and used the Martha Stewart Snowflake border punch and emboss. I added a snowflake charm and jump rings with small bells on, Prima poinsettias with an adhesive stone and finished with a computer generated sentiment.

A Touch of Red

A card for the challenge at Crafty Ann's which is to use black and white plus one other colour (I chose red!). I have had the tree stamp for quite a while and do not know the make, I stamped it in black Versafine and embossed with clear ep and added a little red stickles to the ornaments and some punched stars. The papers are Daisy Bucket and Doodlebug, I added a red ribbon and computer generated sentiment. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday, and I am also entering this card for the challenges at Papertake Weekly - Any Christmas Card, Charisma Cardz - Anything Christmas and Saturday Challenge - Christmas Trees anywhere on your card. Wow that's five never managed more than three before!!!

Two cards - Four challenges


Two cards today, though the photo's are not terrific as there has been no really good light today but as I am on the last minute with both of them they will have to do.
The first is for Totally Gorjuss Challenge, and I have used the sketch from Create4fun Challenge. I have used a Gorjuss Girls stamp coloured with Copics, the papers are Basic Grey Sugared. I added Prima flowers with satin roses in the centre from my stash, pink ribbon and computer generated greeting.

The second is for the Just Magnolia challenge which is "masking". I used another of my new Christmas Tilda's coloured with Copics, I masked the image and stamped the trees in the background which are a Lavinia stamp. The papers are The Paper Studio and K & Co. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and used snowflakes punched from gold and red glitter paper, the border punched with a Martha Stewart border punch Stars, adhesive stones, and a computer generated greeting.

My Time to Craft Challenge - Very Vintage

The Challenge at My Time to Craft this week is "Very Vintage". My DT card this week is made with a rubber stamp I have had for a long time it is by Personnel Impressions, I coloured with Copics and edged with Distress Ink - Antique Linen. The papers are K & Co, I added some Prima Poinsettias and gold leaves with a cream pearl centre, a ribbon and finished with a computer generated greeting.

It's All Round


Well here's another Christmas card, one more to tick off the list. This card is for two challenges, Anyone for Anya which this week is to have anything round on your card so I used the sketch from The Pink Elephant . The stamp I used is a new one I bought this week "Vivi" I coloured her with Copics and Stickles and the paper is from Daisy and Dandelion. I die cut some flowers on my Cuttlebug and layered them together and added an adhesive stone in the centre. I added punched branches and a computer generated greeting.

Just Magnolia


Not good light again today for taking photo's but had to get this one on for the Just Magnolia challenge before it closes tonight, this week the challenge is a sketch by Mina. I used one of my new Magnolia Christmas stamps, isn't she gorgeous? Coloured with Copics and Tombow pens with Stickles on the wings. The papers are Anita's and Daisy and Dandelion, I added a white ribbon some punched and die cut snowflakes, adhesive stones and a peel-off sentiment

Two for Christmas



What am awful day weatherwise it has been, lots of local roads have been flooded and it has been dark most of the day, luckily I photographed these two cards yesterday as I couldn't photograph any today. The top card is for Charisma Cardz Challenge which is "Merry and Bright", the backing paper is Basic Grey and the stamp is from Sugar Nellie coloured with Copics. I added a Prima poinsettia and holly and finished with a computer generated sentiment. The second card is for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge which is "Christmas Blues". The Gorjuss girl stamp is coloured with Copics, papers are from an Anita's Christmas pad from last year I punched the border with the Martha Stewart Stars edge punch and added a ribbon. I finished with some punched snowflakes, a snowflake charm and some silver bells. Shapes on both cards cut with Nestabilities.

My Time to Craft Challenge - Under My Umbrella


A DT card for the challenge at My Time to Craft this week which is "Under My Umbrella". I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp coloured with Copics. The papers are g.c.d. studios. The border across the middle was made using the Martha Stewart Lase Doily punch on two pieces of paper overlapped with a ribbon around. The flowers are Prima with jewellery spacers and beads in the centres, I added a dragonfly charm and computer generated greeting with brads.

Going Green

The weather here has been awful today after rather a nice start this morning, so decided it was a day to craft, and I was lucky that I managed to get a fairly decent photo. My card today is for two challenges Anyone for Anya? which this week is a recipe, three papers, two buttons and one bow. I coloured my Anya stamp with Copics and therefore I am entering it into the Copic Colour Challenge which this week is Emerald Green, Lipstick Red and Acid Yellow, I didn't have all three colours so have used the closest. I went around the edge with green trying to make stitches and added the stars in the background which were punched out of the border with a Martha Stewart edge punch. The papers were Daisy and Dandelion Christmas and from my stash, I added some Stickles and finished with a computer generated sentiment.

Candy for Christmas

Distressing is the theme on Just Magnolia Challenge this week, I love distressing, ripping and tearing. I have used a Christmas Magnolia stamp coloured with Copics and edged with Distress Ink Antique Linen with a dark green ink on the very edge. The papers are all Basic Grey (love these Wassail papers), I finished with a ribbon, flower, adhesive stone and computer generated sentiment with Stickles around the edge.

Tags So Much - My Time To Craft Challenge


My Time to Craft Challenge this week is "Tags So Much" - include a tag on your card. My tag is made using a stamp from "Sugar Nellie" coloured with Copics and Stickles and mounted onto blue metallic card. The background dotty paper is from the Daisy and Dandelion Christmas Collection and the pale blue paper is Bo Bunny - I cut this into a corner pocket and punched the edge with a Martha Stewart border punch, I used the punched out stars to dot around the paper and tag. I added some punched snowflakes with pearl centres and some silver snowflakes and a computer generated sentiment. I am also entering this for the Colour Create challenge which is Blue, Silver and White with the optional extra of Winter and Glitter.

A Letter for You


My card today is again for three challenges (getting myself organised at last). The first challenge is for Papertake Weekly where I used their sketch, the second is for Copic Colour Challenge you had to use R85 Rose Red, B02 Robin's Egg Blue, G02 Spectrum Green and thirdly for Totally Gorjuss Challenge which is "Bling". My stamp is a Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie, coloured with Copics, the papers are Basic Grey and Kay & Co, I added adhesive stones on the dress and corners for the "bling". Finished with flowers, spacer, pearl and ribbon from my stash and a computer generated sentiment.

Crafty Ann's Challenge No. 1


A card for Crafty Ann's Challenge Number One which is "Celebrate". On the day the challenge started it was my youngest granddaughter's first birthday so I thought my card would fit the challenge. The stamps used were all from Penny Black stamped onto shapes cut with Nestabilities and coloured with Copics. The paper was from Daisy Bucket and the tag was cut with Shapeabilities with a computer generated sentiment and ribbon threaded through. I added a peel off number 1 and alphabets to add the name.

Red, White and Blue


My card today is for three challenges (never managed three before). The sketch is from MojoMonday, at Anyone for Anya the theme is Patriotic, use the colours of your national flag and at Simon Says make a Thanksgiving or Thank You card and hopefully this fits all three. The stamp I used was Dahlia from the Greeting Farm coloured with Copics, the papers are g.c.d. and Paper Adventures. The adhesive stones and flowers are from my stash, and I added a computer generated sentiment.

Sketch and Stash No. 22


My card today is for the Sketch and Stash Challenge. The stamp is an Anya from the Greeting Farm, coloured with Copics, I stamped the background snowflakes in pink and blue they are from a set called "Simply Chic" which I have had since last year and never used, the sentiment is also from the same set. The pink snowflake paper is new and is from Bo Bunny other papers from my stash. I added a snowflake charm, ribbon and brads. Have had to mess around with the exposure and colour of the photo today as the weather has been awful all day and couldn't get a good photo.

Its All White


A card today for two challenges which are both for white except for the image. The first is the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is "White on White". I used PB stamp "Christmas Friends" coloured with Copics. I embossed on the Cuttlebug with the Snowflake embossing folder, die cut the swirl and embossed with the Swisss Dots folder and die cut the snowflakes with Shapeabilities. I added a white ribbon and white pearls. The second challenge I am entering is Colour Create Challenge which is "All White"

So Many Scallops - My Time to Craft Challenge

The theme this week at My Time to Craft Challenge is "So Many Scallops". For my DT card I used a Gorjuss Girl stamp from Sugar Nellie coloured with Copics and stamped onto card cut with Nestabilities. The orange backing papers, though not a colour I would normally use, are from Cosmo Cricket and I just couldn't resist buying these gorgeous double sided papers (I used both sides). My scallops were made with a Martha Stewart double scallop punch using both sides of the paper alternately. I added layers of flowers from my stash and added some pearls on wires which were the decorations on Christmas crackers we had last year (knew they would be useful when I kept them). The card was finished with a computer generated sentiment and some adhesives stones.

Golden Wedding


I made this card for a Golden Wedding a couple of weeks ago, but thought it would fit nicely into Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week which is "Anniversary". The stamp is an Anna Griffin Rose which I coloured with gold cosmic shimmer and Copics for the leaves, matted onto gold card with gold pearls at the corners. The paper is Papermania, the gold rings topper is from Kanban and the two small gold squares are A and M being their initials. The inside was lined with gold card which showed at the edge where I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch on it. I added a ribbon and computer generated sentiment.

Charisma Cardz


I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do when I read the Charisma Cardz Challenge this week - "No Backing Papers" hmmm, I put my thinking cap on and this is the card I came up with. I remembered I had bought this Magnolia swirly stamp and not yet used it, I stamped in Versafine Sepia, embossed and coloured the small leaves. The stamp is a Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girls, stamped onto card cut with Nestabilities and coloured with Copics. The flowers are from Prima with spacers and pearls in the centres, I added ribbon, pearls and a dragonfly charm.

Cute in Pink and Blue


My card today has been made using Martine's sketch for the Just Magnolia Challenge but hopefully with my pink and white daisies it qualifies for the challenge at Charisma Cardz which is "Delightful Daisies". I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp coloured with Copics, the papers were also from Magnolia - the "A Little Yummy for Your Tummy " collection. The ovals were cut using Nestibilities and I used a new Martha Stewart Lattice Arch punch. Finished with ribbon, button, pearls and computer generated sentiment. Had difficulty with the photo as the light hasn't been very good today.

Rip It Up - My Time to Craft Challenge


Good Morning! I have been invited by Wendy to join the DT of My Time to Craft Challenge which I am really excited about. This is my first card for this week's challenge which is "Rip It Up". It is the first time I have used this Sugar Nellie stamp and I have coloured it with Copics and used Stickles on the body of the snowman. The card was finished with a snowflake charm and computer generated sentiment.

Bright and Zingy


Just Magnolia Challenge this week is "Bright and Zingy" so I hope this fits the bill. I stamped the Magnolia image onto a piece of card cut with Nestabilities and layered onto a piece of green card and added adhesive stones in the four corners. The image was coloured with Copics. The background papers are all from Daisy Bucket, I added three Prima flowers with a smaller flower and brad in the centre, a ribbon and finished with a computer generated sentiment.

Christmas Visiting


Managed to make another Christmas card - getting there slowly but surely. Charisma Cardz challenge this week is "Its so Distressing" distress your card to destress yourself, well I enjoyed making this card so must have destressed myself. The stamp is a Sarah Kay which I have used for the first time, coloured with Copics, the papers are all from a Papermania pad which I bought last Christmas and I enjoyed ripping and tearing the sheets. The large Poinsettia is from a kit I purchased from Squiggle Stamps, I added some gold branches punched with Leone Em punch and finished with a button and some gold braid. I also added a white ribbon, some adhesive stones and a computer generated greeting.

I used the Penny Black stamp "Antarcticans" coloured with Copics and Sakura pens I cut round the image with some scallop scissors and mounted onto red and silver card. The backing papers are by Basic Grey, and I used a Martha Steward punch "stars". I finished with buttons, bows and a sentiment.

A Little Yummy


A card for this week's Just Magnolia challenge from a lovely sketch by Mina. Snowflake Daisy


A card for Charisma Cardz Challenge which this week is a recipe, 1 ribbon, three papers, three flowers, 1 charm. I used my new stamp from Squiggle Stamps - Snowflake Daisy, stamped onto card cut with Nestibilities coloured with copics and added Stardust Stickles. Two papers were K & Co and one from Fancy Pants Designs, which I embossed with a Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder I also used a Martha Stewart Border punch - Stars. Finished with a white ribbon, three Prima pink and silver poinsettias, snowflake charm and sentiment.

Christmas Messy Rabbit


My card today is for the My Time to Craft Challenge which is Purrfect Pets. I used a Christmas Messy Rabbit stamp from Joanna Sheen, coloured with Tombow pens and Copics with a snowflake eyelet in the corner, the papers are from Bo Bunny. I punched the strip with Martha Stewart edge punch "Stars" added a ribbon and some punched snowflakes with an adhesive stone in the centre. The sentiment is a Penny Black stamp which I cut into a triangle.

Christmas Poinsettia


My card today is for the Papertake Weekly Challenge again another challenge I have not entered before. The challenge is a sketch which I thought would make a lovely Christmas card. I used a new stamp I had from Sugar Nellie - Poinsettia and coloured with copics. I used both sides of a double-sided paper from Imaginisce called Snowy Joe. I sprayed some cream leaves with Forest Green Glimmer Mist and added them behind a Prima poinsettia. Finished off with a ribbon and sentiment.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge


I'm doing well this week with challenges today's is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is to use an Autumn stamp or Autumn colours. My Penny Black hedgie is coloured with copics and edged with leaf stamps from a tapestry stamp set and stamped with versacolours, I put this onto a torn piece of paper from Basic Grey Sugared. The background paper is from Bo Bunny which I liked so much I didn't want to cover it up so tried to leave as much as possible on view. The border was cut with a Martha Stewart scallop punch, I added three Prima flowers with tiny buttons and branches cut with the Leone Em punch. The sentiment "just a note" is another Penny Black stamp, stamped in Versafine Sepia.

Just Magnolia Challenge - Hand Made Flowers


For the Just Magnolia Challenge this week you had to use your own hand made flowers. My flowers were made using a die on my Cuttlebug the two flowers at the top were made by laying the die cuts and the flower at the bottom was made using the cut out petals from the die. I put jewellery spacers in the centre and an adhesive stone. The background paper was from my stash and I cut some new Magnolia paper with circle and scallop nestibilities and added my Magnolia image coloured with copics. I used Martha Stewart scallop punch for the centre border and added some buttons, a dragonfly charm and branches cut with my Leone Em punch. The sentiment was computer generated.

Snow Buddies


Another card today for a Challenge I have not entered before - My Time to Craft the challenge is "Snow Buddies". I used a snowmen stamp from Pink Gem Designs and masked them while I stamped the background trees which are by Lavinia stamps. I coloured the snowmen with copics and used glitter on them and the trees but it doesn't show well on the photo. The background papers are from the Daisy and Dandelion Christmas papers, I added a ribbon and sentiment.

Pink Elephant Challenge


My card today is for the Pink Elephant Challenge, one I have never entered before. The challenge this week is a recipe - something with dots, a punch and a tag. I used a Sugar Nellie Manga Kids stamp and coloured with copics, then made this into a tag with pink and green ribbon. The papers were Basic Grey Sugared and the dotty background one is from my stash. I punched a piece of the Basic Grey paper with a Martha Stewart border punch top and bottom of the strip and added three Prima flowers with pearl centres. The sentiment "for you" is a Penny Black stamp.
