Scrapbook Thursday

My page today is for Grandson Finbar's April page.
His Mum was giving him his very first haircut
and my son snapped these photos for me to use.

You can see he thought it was great getting some treats
but the novelty of that soon wore off when he realised
what was happening!!

Small milestones are being met during this strange time
and hopefully we will all be able to look back
at our memories and smile.

I have followed this sketch from

I used a few old stamp sets for the scissors and comb
and A Good Man stamp set for the hearts.
The letter dies are from my die stash.

The winner will receive a £25 store voucher!!

I am totally in love with this crackle paint stamp!!
You effortlessly achieve the effect with one stamp!

How I made my card
1. Base card is very vanilla 8" x 4 1/2" folded in two.
2. Stamp the crackle paint in soft sea foam onto very vanilla.
3. Add piece of highland heather card 3 2/8" x 4"
4. Cut a piece of soft sea foam card 3" x 3 6/8"
Stamp the crackle paint in soft sea foam and ink around the edges
in same colour, then finish with soft suede for definition.
5. Stamp the flower in memento ink. Stamp some leaves in granny apple green.
6. Stamp flower again in memento onto whisper white card and colour using blends.
Cut the flowers out and stick over originals. Adhere to your base.
7. Stamp sentiment in highland heather onto very vanilla card.
Mount onto piece of highland heather, rounding the corners on each piece.
8. Stamp some raindrops in soft sea foam and add wink of stella.
9. Stamp some small hearts and cover in heart epoxy droplets.
10. Add your sentiment.
11. Finish with some very vanilla spotty ribbon tied around card.
