Scrapbook Thursday

Not really Grandson Oliver's turn
but his album is a bit short of pages so thought I would do this one.

His parents sent me this photo of them in their masks.
Perfect page to have to look back on
when all this is over.

I followed the theme over at
Scrap Our Stash

which was just perfect for my photo today.

I added the text by hand and drew some masks either side.
I added die cut numbers and used the heart
from the theme photo.

Scrapbook Thursday (early)

It's Grandson Oliver's turn today.
This is one of his November layouts.
He is a bit camera shy compared to the others
and I really need to encourage his parents to sneak more photos 😂

This layout shows him doing some chores
and being a typical 12 year old he does not like doing the dishes!
Obviously his favourite chore is helping with his
little brother Finbar!
How gorgeous is that photo of the two of them.

I have followed the sketch from
Scrap Our Stash

It asks for watercolour patterned paper.
I did search high and low for this piece so hope it counts ok.
The chipboard I had to make myself as I didn't have one
that fit my theme. I punched about 5 layers of thin cardboard,
stuck them all together and added some watercoloured yellow
paper with a stamped sentiment, to the top.

I have used two stamp sets for this layout
The papers are from a retired set.

As this challenge ends today I am posting my layout early.
I always struggle in the last week of the month
as I work a week ahead and tend to miss out on the date.
Brain is working well today for a change 😂

Scrapbook Thursday

Oliver's turn for his September page.
This boy is totally devoted to his baby brother Finbar
who misses him now that he is back to school.
But these photos really show how much affection he has for him.

I followed the sketch from Stick it Down
October single page
along with  the theme over at

Scrapbook Thursday

It's Oliver's turn for another layout for his album.
Today I have used his going back to school photo
along with small closeup photos of his tie, badge, shoes and bag.

The papers are from an old pad from Paper Pizazz.
I have inked up the edges and coloured the
mat papers too to tone in with the greens.

Oliver's school (same one I went to) has had a uniform
change this year. Going from plain navy jackets to this one.
Kids were not too happy about the colour but I think it
looks lovely on Oliver.
He is now a big second year pupil!

I have followed the layout from
Stick it Down
I rotated the layout to suit my photos.

Catch you all again tomorrow hopefully!

Scrapbook Thursday

Scrapbook Thursday again and this is the pay I made for
Grandson Ollie.
Ollie and little Finbar were having
corn on the cob for tea
and when their Grandad saw the photos he
bet Ollie that little Finbar would finish first.
Challenge excepted lol.

I have followed the sketch over at
Sketches in Thyme

I have used mostly retired items but have linked anything I did use below.

Scrapbook Thursday

This is Oliver's June layout!
He is the best big brother to wee Finbar, always looking out for him,
sharing with him and hugging him!!

In these photos he was enjoying a lollipop which wee Finbar
has his eyes on.
What Finbar wants Finbar gets lol.

I followed the sketch over at

Again I used my retired papers which makes me happy!

Scrapbook Thursday Birthday Layout

Another April Birthday!
It was Grandson Oliver's 12th Birthday early April
so I wanted him to have a special memory for that in his book.
I have used Broadway Birthday and A Grand Kid (coming soon) stamp sets
along with lots of bright colours.

I followed this layout from

Anyone else started to scrapbook yet??
