Analysis of this composite structure has been initial area of interest for countless researches for quite a few year now. In this paper, we studied the crushing behavior of hybrid tubes including energy absorption and also harmful effect of different three aluminum tubes under longitudinal crushing loading. As the reason of comparison single aluminum tube and single carbon fiber tubes were tested as well. Depends on experimental details the effect of different composition were studied and it was found that hybrid H-1 that is aluminum tube internally filled with carbon fiber it is wrapped with E-epoxy and hardener with four layers gives good outcome. The pump was simulated both in direct and turbine modes using Star CCM+ CFD software. Characteristic curves were developed for the pump in direct and turbine modes. A monoblock centrifugal pump of specific speed 35.89 (m, m 3 /s) was used for this study. The pump was tested experimentally in turbine and pump mode .The theoretical and numerical results were verified by those obtained through experimentation. Some of the correlations proposed by earlier researchers for performance prediction of pump in reverse mode were also tested.

Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) are networks which are targeted towards design of healthcare co... more Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) are networks which are targeted towards design of healthcare communication interfaces with low latency and high security. In order to design such interfaces, efficient models for data encryption, hashing, privacy, and quality of service (QoS) awareness are needed. A wide variety of standard medical interfaces are proposed by researchers, which assist in reducing network redundancies for high-throughput and low latency communications. These interfaces also implement security models that ensure data encryption & privacy. But due to incorporation of encryption methods, QoS performance of the IoMT devices reduces, which limits their real-time usability for in-patient monitoring & treatment. In order to improve IoMT QoS while maintaining high security, this text proposes design of QSIH, which is a QoSaware sidechain model that can be used for securing IoMT networks. The proposed model describes design of a blockchainbased data storage & communication interface, which is capable of removing a wide variety of network attacks. The delay needed for communication in any blockchain-based interface increases exponentially w.r.t. number of blocks added to the system. In order to reduce this delay, a novel machine learning model based on Genetic Algorithm optimization is proposed. The proposed model splits the main blockchain into multiple shards in a QoSaware manner, thereby ensuring low delay, and high communication throughput. The shards (or sidechains) are managed using an interactive Q-Learning (IQL), which is able to expand or contract these chains depending upon network's QoS performance. Sidechains which are unused for large periods of time are combined together, and archived for future reference. The archived sidechains are formed from main blockchain, and are merged with other sidechains depending upon archival requirements of the network. Due to such a dynamic side chaining model, the proposed QSIH model is capable of reducing network communication delay by 18%, increase throughput by 14%, reduce storage cost by 5%, while maintaining high level of security & privacy in the network. The model was tested under different IoMT scenarios, and it was observed that it showcased consistent performance across different network emulations.

In this paper, graph theoretic approach (GTA) is proposed to evaluate the cutting force during CNC milling. Cutting force is considered as a machinability attribute during CNC milling to evaluate the effect of several factors and their subfactors. Factors affectin g the cutting force and their interactions are analyzed by developing a mathematical model using digraph and matrix method. Permanent function or machinability index is obtained from the matrix model developed from the digraphs. This index value helps in quantifying the influence of considered factors on cutting force. In the present illustration, factors affecting cutting force during CNC milling are grouped into five broad factors namely work material, machine tool, cutter runout, penetration strategies, and tool geometry to be machined. GTA methodology reveals that the machine tool has highest index value. Therefore, it is the most influencing factor affecting cutting force.

The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that feed rate is the dominant factor affecting the surface roughness. With the increase of cutting speed and feed rate, residual tensile stress on the surface becomes larger. Along the depth, micro hardness first decreases and then increases.

Aerodynamic methods used in the early stages of conceptual design are necessarily simple for the ... more Aerodynamic methods used in the early stages of conceptual design are necessarily simple for the sake of speed and convenience. They may also involve simplifying assumptions with a significant impact on their accuracy. This may result in unrealistic levels of performance being estimated at an early stage in a design, with consequent risk later in a program. The work described here demonstrates a novel approach for estimating the aerodynamic characteristics of both simple swept-tapered and cranked wings. This approach combines analysis methods with optimal Design of Experiments to generate simple algebraic functions, or response surface models, representing the outputs of a series of more detailed analyses. Proof of concept for the response surface model technique, and subsequently, optimal Design of Experiments is demonstrated for simple swept-tapered wings. The response surface modelling approach is subsequently demonstrated for wing planforms with up to four cranks. Application of the technique to cranked wings has required the development of an optimal Design of Experiments method capable of handling non-linear constraints and larger sample sets. Construction of the response surface models required the automation of geometry and analysis tools to cope with large numbers of sample configurations for each problem. The resulting response surface models have been implemented in conceptual design tools and spreadsheet-based performance methods, where they have replaced 'equivalent' swept-tapered wing approximations, with their associated inaccuracies. This paper shows a quantitative assessment of the impact of these approximations on prediction of lift curve slope and aerodynamic centre prediction at subsonic conditions. Comparisons against experimental measurements for cranked wings are included.
