Swirls and pearls

Well good evening all, I hope you have had a good day.  My son has a girlie birthday to go to soon, and as I never know what to buy I thought I would try my hand at making the present!  So here it is a Canvas!  Now this is my second one, as I made one yesterday for my DT but you can't see it yet,(it was very different to this one!) but I had so much fun here is another!

I have created the background using Twinkling H2O paints, then splattered some silver ink ontop.  I then wrapped some twine around the canvas and fixed with glue.

here is the canvas hanging!

The digi stamp is from OSAAT called 'Sparkles'  I have printed her out large twice.  Th first pice has been glittered for the wings and feelers.  The top layer has been painted with twinkling H2O's and decoupaged on top.

The sentiment is a stamp from a wording collection, but I am not sure where it is from.  I have used a Nesties die cut, which I have inked aroud the edges in pink and black then heatembossed with clear powder to protect it.

The flowers are Marianne creatables die cuts and have again been heat embossed to protect them, the black in clear powder and the silver is white card with metal magic dust.  There are pearl gems for the centres.

All of the swirls have been heat embossed in the same way to help protect them and prearl gems have been used at the ends.

I will be entering this project in the following challenges(if I am not too late!)

X is for pirate!

Good afternoon everyone.  Well at least it isn't raining! My son has a birthday to go to at the weekend so I have incorporated that into several challenges.  It also has a pocket inside for money because I don't know what to buy the little boy who's party it is!

I hope you like the card

I have used Pink petticoat backing papers for this card, and wrapped some thread around the base piece.  I have cut the top piece into triangles and added 3 brads on each corner(making 6 in all!)

Th image is From doodle pantry called 'Pirate Birdie' and has been cut out with a Marianne creatable multiframe die, coloured with pro markers and the die has been inked around the edge in blue ink.

The sentiment is from the same doodle pantry set and has been punched out and mounted onto the smaller Marianne creatable multiframe die cut.

This sentiment is again from the same digi set and has been cut out, the corners rounded and mounted onto red card.

Close up of the brads.

The backing papers for this are from the 'My minds eye'  'Summer collection', they have been layered onto pink and green and a Fiskars boarder punch has been used on the top layer, and wrapped some cross stitch thread around it too!

The image is a Penny black stamp called 'Hot but cool' and has been coloured in pro markers.  I have rounded off the corners of the piece she has been stamped onto and added pink and green layers and mini gems in the corners.

The icecream charm has been made by me using a UK stamp icecream onto shrink plastic, coloured in pro markers holed and shrunk, then hung on some jump rings.

The sentiment is a Lili of theValley stamp from one of their stamp sets.

Gingerloft DT card 'Add beads'

Well happy sunday morning all. Those 2 weeks went by sooooo fast it is time for another challenge at Gingerloft and this fortnight it is  'Just add beads'.  Don't forget you could win 3 gingerloft digital stamps if you win, so make sure you are in it to win it!

I have used this beautiful sentiment from the gingerloft store for this card and cut it out with one of my nesties dies, I have then used versa clear ink and gold metalic embossing dust and embossed around the edge.  The butterfly backing paper has been in my stash foreverand I have no idea where it came from.  The pink card has been embossed with swirls  and a fiskars boarder punch for the piece across the middle.

A close up of the sentiment!

The butterflies have also been heat embossed with the gold metallic dust.  This butterfly is a marianne creatable die and I have used gems down his middle.  I have used beads threaded onto some wire to create the butterflies trail.

This butterfly is another die cut treated in the same way.
