Fashion

What a beautiful day outside, my belly is full of Roast potatoes and I have had chance to make anouther card.  Does it get any better than this?

So todays card is based on the Moving along with the times 'Fashion' challenge.  At least I won't be late for it this time!  He He!

The backing papers are from the Pink Petticoat 'Vintage Rose Collection' Papers,  and I have used a self sticky piece of cotton lace I had left in my stash.

The dress and accessories are made from a sizzix die called Dress and Accessories, I have layered it onto a Nellie Snellen multiframe oval, which I have inked and liquid pearl drops around the outside.  The swirls are from a Marianne creatables die.  The dress paper has been pieced on top along with the pink belt and collar layers and the dress paper is also from the same range as the backing papers.

The shopper is yet again a Kenny K image called 'Maddison Attitude' and has been coloured with promarkers.  The fur around the jacket and sleeves has been flocked with white flock although it is hard to see in the picture.

The accessories are from the same sizzix die and have been paperpieced together.

The sentiment has been stamped using a Lili of the valley stamp.

I hope to enter this card into the following challenges

Hope you like it.  Please leave a comment.

A touch of Magic!

Well what a beautiful day. The sun has been shining all afternoon, actually got out of the house today(even if it was just to get the grocery shopping!)  At least I got a Kentucky FC before we came home :o)  Yum Yum!

So here is today's card, I have tried to fit this one in with a few challenges as I am behind this week.  Hope you like it!

So, I have used the sketch from Papertake Weekly for this one, and I have used the recipe from Fab & Funky ' 1image, 2 embellies and 3 papers'  The 3 papers I have used are from My Minds Eye 'Spring papers'.  I have used a nestability die for a base for the image , I have inked with pink and black around the edge for a distressed look and I have added the Lace around the edge of it.

The image is 'Devilish Donna' yet another one of the FAB images over at Kenny K.  I have coloured with promarkers.

The sentiment I have created on my computer and punched out with a 1.5" circular punch.  I have again inked with pink and black for a distressed look

I have used a corner butterfly punch for the4 corners of the base layer, matted with black card and used thepunched out butterflies as one of the embellishments, and the orange flat backed gems as the other one.

I hope to enter this card into the following challenges.
