Christmas Meme

I'm sad and pathetic, I wasn't even tagged for this meme, I just thought it was fun and I found myself answering the questions in my head when I saw it over at whittakerwoman so I thought I'd do it myself.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper! Bags are too expensive!!
2. Real tree or Artificial? Real! As long as I live in a climate where I can have a real one I will.
3. When do you put up the tree? This is the first time in 3 years I've had one, so there's no set time.
4. When do you take the tree down? As soon as possible, Christmas decorations after Christmas seem so desperate
5. Do you like eggnog? I don't know - probably - it's got alcohol in it right?
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I don't know if it was for Christmas, but I LOVED the radio I got shaped like a bottle of Coke
7. Easiest person to buy for? Carly! And I love shopping for her
8. Do You have a nativity scene? No
9. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail ones, I am so touched when people have gone to the effort. I'm terrible at sending them these days though, I haven't done them the last 2 years, I blame it on the trauma of sending wedding invites and thank you cards.
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Pneumonia
11. Favorite Christmas Movie? Love Actually
12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? As late as possible, I'm terrible
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Totally! What is wrong with that - but only if I know the recipient will like it, I don't just offload junk.
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas pudding and custard, hold the Christmas pudding
15. Lights on the tree? Of course! I'd like to decorate my tree JUST with lights one year
16. Favorite Christmas song? The Pogues or Deck the Halls, or It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, I love Christmas songs!
17. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? Without hesitation
18. Angel on the tree top or a star? A star
19. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? After lunch
20. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Mariah Carey
21. Favorite ornament theme or color? My clip on gold bird - I don't know where I got it, but I love it. It's on the top branch of the tree in the photo below.
22. Favorite Christmas dinner? Ever? Sausages in Italy about 5 years ago with Mum, Dad and Erin - I'm not a turkey fan
23. What do you want for Christmas this year? A DSLR - more than ANYTHING (Except maybe an all expenses trip to NY, but I know what is more likely to happen)

Just home from the pottery Christmas party - it was brilliant fun. The rules were that everybody had to wear a silly hat or wig, bump and I went in matching Santa hats!

Week 23 Belly progress

We ran out of time for photos last week, there was too much going on, and it's amazing how much my belly has changed! Everyday I feel a little bigger, it is a very strange feeling. I am noticing changes in my ability to do simple things now too. It is uncomfortable to bend over to tie my shoes, getting up from the seats on the tube is a little difficult and I can't bend to check the profiles in my pots as easily. It's all part of the fun. Soon I'll be getting Tino to paint my toenails!

Hello World!!

We had our 2nd scan this morning - it was amazing. The little one is developing well, and is completely normal in all tests! We spent quite a long time with it, and I loved it. I wish we had more than 2 scans!

I love this second picture, the sonographer was hilarious and thought it was funny that the baby seemed to be high-fiving us, I think it looks a little like it is waving.

Baby time

It's time for another baby photo! These were taken last week, so they are week 21. The baby is definitely a Marinelli and is late to arrive. My belly really blossomed last week, it's so funny to see. It's weird being able to look down and see a big belly and not to worry about sucking it in!!

Tino snapped this shot whilst we were trying to take the others, I love it!
