An Abundance of Cuteness for SSS!

Hey there bloggy friends! I'm back with another pair of those super cute baby booties for my soon to be granddaughter! I think I'll link these up at the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge, this week is anything goes! I really fancied this pair up and am so in love with them, check them out!

Oh goodness I don't think I can stand the cuteness!! Again, the booties are made from the Papertrey Ink dies using Vintage Cream felt. Then I layered on a PTI Beautiful Blooms II (Aqua Mist Felt), Turning a New Leaf leaves (Spring Moss felt), and a My Favorite Things mini rolled rose (Lavender Moon felt). I sewed a tiny pearl inside the rose and then sewed everything on once again nice and tight!!

And yet again we have a matching headband!

I boxed these up in a clear square cupcake box from DeNami Design on a bed of iridescent shred. Sheer ribbon and the headband served as a "bow". When I showed them to my hubby he said they looked like little glass slippers!! I thought that was such a cute response!!

This pair, along with those from yesterday, were both in the clear boxes on the head table at the shower. When my son and daughter-in-law saw them they loved them. When I told them I made them for the baby my son's mouth dropped open and he said "MOM...when did you learn to make shoes??" Another great response!!

Thanks for visiting and indulging me in my baby joy!!! ~Lisa

Sharing Some Sweetness!

Hi there! I wanted to pop in today to share a bit of sweetness that I made for my soon to be granddaughter. First up a little pair of Mary Janes!

These were made with Aqua Mist felt using the bootie dies from Papertrey Ink. I added a Paper Sweeties die cut flower (Harvest Gold felt) and DeNami Design aqua buttons to the straps.

And what good would those little sweeties be without a matching headband...am I right??!! I bought the elastic at Jo-Ann Fabrics then added the layered PTI butterflies, PS flower and matching DD button. Everything is sewn on nice and tight!

I had so much fun making these. Oh gosh I just can't wait for those tiny baby toes to be tucked inside of them ~ squeal!! Stop by tomorrow for another pair, something a bit more dressy ~ hee!!!
