Coco and Flowers!!!!!

Hello

I have a busy weekend coming up, I am off to our annual company dinner and dance which is always good fun. Normally we lap it up 5 star style at the Celtic Manor Resort but this year we are being moved to the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, doesn't quite have the same ring to it but I am sure it is very nice, we will see!!. I love getting all dressed up for this event, all the men wear black tie and the ladies cocktail or full length dresses, having chubby legs I wear the latter !
I will catch up with you when I get back on Sunday night, unless of course I am still in 'recovery' stage!

I have a little challenge card today though using Coco and flowers from Digi Stamp Boutique.

This little chap is coloured with promarkers and the papers are MME Tickled Pink. The ticket sentiment is also from Digi Stamp Boutique. I have layered up the lovely little Prima flower and the ribbon and gems are from my little stash.

Delight in Your Digi - Fab n Funky Challenge

I don't know where the days go at the moment, they all seem to merge into one!

Wednesday means a new challenge at Fab n Funky and this week we would like you to use a digital image!!

We have been very kindly sponsored by the Stamping Boutique, and we were lucky enough to be given an image to work with! You really must hop over and take a look here.

I have used Heart Bag such a gorgeous image. I have gone for the 'country cottage ' look if there is such a thing for cards! I coloured with promarkers, satin for the bag and red and berry red for the hearts. I really really wish I had a sewing machine cause I just feel the need to add stitching to this card. I did try white pen but it just did not show enough Boohoo!!The papers are Country Companions and the sentiment is computer generated. I had the fab ruffled ribbon in my stash and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday, I have not been in blog land much this week had so much to catch up on. I have sneaked in a card this afternoon though using one of my new LOTV stamps. Cant wait for payday, I need soooo many more!

She is coloured with promarkers and I am not sure about the paper as it was a scrap, I am really trying to use some up. The flowers are punched using a punch by Nellie Snellen and a little candy for the centre.

Animal Magic at Fab n Funky

Good Morning

Hope your week is going well, half way to the weekend! Yippee!

This week at Fab n Funky we want you to go all 'ANIMAL' but in a tasteful way of course!!!

We are very kindly sponsored by Robyns Fetish, you must check out the DT cards as there is a fab image called 'I Toadily love you ' which is so cool. I didn't get organised and had to make my sons birthday card so I couldn't use it this time round but I am definitely going to!

I have used Marvin from Digi Stamp Boutique, what a cute little monkey and even though my son is 17 today he is still a very cheeky monkey! The papers are Basic Grey 'Curio' and I used my circle nesties, MS frond punch and SU scallop edge punch. I coloured some white buttons with promarkers, I love how they go sort of mottled! A few craftwork candy to finish.

Oh what I wouldn't give to be somewhere hot, palm trees swaying, waves gently lapping, coctail in hand, LOVELY!!

My card is a totally different style for me, it has no ribbon OMG! I went for hot pink and yellow and kept it pretty simple.

I have used an image from Robyns Fetish called 'Shells for Sale' look at her cute little happy face, I love it. I have paper pieced her swimsuit and umbrella, the rest is coloured with promarkers. I found some little shells in my stash so on they went too! I have also used my sparkly chalks and NS flower punch.

A Valentine Card and.........

Hello, especially to my new blog buddies, I have had 3 lovely peeps join me this week, so thank you.

Today I am feeling a bit slushy so I made a valentine card, but who is it for, depends who sends me one first, usually its Johnny Depp but last year Jon Bon Jovi got in first, may be it will be Matt Baker this year LOL!!!!! (if only).

I have used this cute image from Digi Stamp Boutique, Sonny and Pippa and coloured with promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey 'Olivia' collection. The yummy roses and cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have also used my EK success hearts and swirls border punch, the little bits that fall away I have plonked in the flowers for a bit of shape. I also used a heart punch and stamped a sentiment from a papermania anniversary words set. The ribbon is seam binding from The Ribbon Girl and I am not sure where I got the little heart gem from now. I also used my MS butterfly punch which is getting a lot of use at the moment!

Really not sure.......

if I love or loathe this card!!!! LOL

Ummm one minute it looks pretty the next a bit pants to be honest!! But I do love the flower which is why I decided to post it. I made it by punching out 5 circles using the SU 1 inch circle punch , stuck them all together , inked up the edges and there it is, simples!! The little bow in the centre is tied from my fab new seam binding. The flower sadly is not my idea, I followed a tutorial here at AR Creations. Rosie Posie is coloured with promarkers and the papers are 'Rose Garden' by papermania. I have also used a swirl punch and MS butterfly punch. Gems are Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have used this fab image from Pink Petticoat, he even comes on a skateboard, how cool is that! These gorgeous papers are Basic Grey 'Curio' I love them!! He is coloured with promarkers and of course his crown is topped with gold jewels, well Dovecraft budget gems but you know they look the same!!! A spot of gingham ribbon and some candy coloured with promarkers to finish

I'ts All White at Digital Tuesday!!!!!

Hope you are all well, there is so much flu and stuff around at the moment, hope you are managing to avoid it.


We have a fab challenge for you this week at Digital Tuesday chosen by our lovely Michelle P which is 'All White except for ONE image'. All papers and embellishments must be white and remember to use a digi somewhere on your card/project too.

I have used a Stitchy Bear image called Poppy Fairy but unfortunately it does not seem to be available any more in the store. She is coloured with promarkers and I have used white glitter card, smooth white pearl card and and white embossed card. The flowers are white I promise they just seem to look creamy in the photo!! The lovely little butterfly lace edging and ribbon is from stash which seems to be dwindling, I am sure I am due a top up LOL.

Cute Little Birds

Well we have a much brighter day today, it is still very cold but lovely sunshine and blue skies. Can't wait for the dancing on ice tonight, I love all the costumes and Torvil and Dean are ace!!!

Anyway quick card today as I have sooo much to do and I have followed a fab sketch at Bearly Mine Challenge blog.

Love these papers from MME and image is 'Cute Love Birds' from Digi Stamp Boutique, coloured with promarkers and sprinkled with a little glamour dust. Sentiment punched using the Tiny Tags punch from Stampin Up and a few gems from stash.

Dreaming of Summer

I really am dreaming of summer, it is awful here, so gloomy and the wind is howling so much it woke me up this morning which I can tell you takes some doing!!

I was actually going to blitz the housework last night but I made this instead!! Never mind, I am going to have a mad couple of hours once I have got this post up.

I have used Strawberry Girl by Mo Manning which I treated myself to last night, she is soooo sweet. A very nice friend at work gave me a few sheets from the cupcake collection by papemania which was just perfect for this image. She is coloured with promarkers and the flowers and ribbon and fabby little strawberry charm from my stash. I went round the edge with stickles for a bit of sparkle.

Well we have had a right miserable day here today, gloomy and rain all day! Yucky!

I did warn you I had a thing for these LOTV stamps so here it is again, last one for a while I promise. I am going to have to treat myself to just one more I think.LOL

I have used my Spring Time papers again, I just love the blue and yellow. I have coloured her with promarkers. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the ribbon is from stampin up. I have used my MS butterfly punch as I just love this little butterfly for a bit of added detail. Finished with a few blue gemstones and a tiny bit of glitter!

I have used Tea Party from LOTV, now I will apologize now as I have a thing about these stamps at the moment and I only have 2 of them (cry cry, do you feel sorry for me yet?) The gorgeous papers are Forever Friends Spring Time which I have to say I think are spot on and great value too as they are double sided! I have coloured with promarkers and the Cherry Blossom flower is from Wild Orchid crafts and the little purple ones are from stash as is the lace and ribbon. I used a Stampin Up sentiment and also their circle punches which of course fit beautifully. I also used my MS butterfly punch.
