Before birth female foeticide and post birth discrimination against the girl childhas made the situation worse for child sex ratio in India.According to census 2011, a significant decline of 918 recorded in the Child Sex Ratio (CSR) between 0-6 years. Noticing such alarming decline in CSR, a programme was introduced by the Government of India; BetiBachao, BetiPadhao(BBBP) in 100 gender critical districts and five districts of Jammu & Kashmir are among them. However, despite launch of such schemes for women empowerment like BetiBachao, BetiPadhao(BBBP) and LadliBeti, the sex ratio of men and women in Jammu and Kashmir could not be improved. Rather it has deteriorated in J & K to 883 (46.88%) in 2011 from 892 (47.15%) in 2001 according to the Economic Survey. According to the same survey, female literacy rate is lower in J&K as compared to men. Both sex ratio and education are two important indicators for women's empowerment. This is why it is important to examine the reasons for less impact of these schemes on J & K population, especially in terms of the communication strategy. This study tries to evaluate the communication strategy of BetiBachao, BetiPadhao(BBBP) scheme in case of Jammu district by conducting a survey and interviews.

It is a relevant investigation of 220 Indian SHG businesswomen using an organised poll-based research and 12 clear cut elements extracted from the literature to define the 'job' and 'business development' with respect to Indian SHG women entrepreneurs. The review adopted a quantitative exploratory method, with enlightening measures being used to dissect the data and understand the findings. According to the findings of the study, the pandemic posed both challenges and opportunities for Indian SHG women's organisations. In this unusual situation, the role of SHGs in supporting the business development of its women entrepreneurs has been inadequate, according to the respondents. SHGs should focus on innovation-driven occupations and include training modules for enabling web-based models and displaying stages, as well as financial access, to help expand and recover the business using new methods. In light of the findings, proposals for SHGs and strategy producers in the Indian context have been proposed in order to coordinate with changing market and consumer factors during the epidemic. The review has added to the body of knowledge on the needs of SHG women entrepreneurs and the appropriate measures that should be taken to help them grow their businesses in India.

Veerappan believes that MJR's fondness for Jaya can spell doom for the superstar. A few years later, MJR enters politics and joins the DMK Tamilnadu state political party headed by Karunanidhi (Nassar). The latter wins the state elections by a record margin because MJR campaigns for him. Unfortunately, MJR is unable to attend party meetings. And since he is more popular, it does not go down well with Karunanidhi. Both have a showdown and MJR eventually quits DMK. He decides to form a new political party, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). Veerappan advises MJR to stay away from Jaya before it affects his political career. MJR agrees and Jaya is devastated by his decision. Ten years later, MJR becomes Chief Minister for the second time in 1980. Jaya, on the other hand, is not getting many film offers due to her age. She starts accepting dance shows, one of which is a government-sponsored one in Madurai. At this event, she meets MJR again. This time, MJR invites her to join his party. Jaya declines.
