Discussion: Example

Reason(s): they participate in long term abuse with the help of IA tools to imitate other contributors on all wikis. The specialist (RCU) is @Poudou!: but he does never found enough proofs unfortunately so he will need help for other wikipedias . Baldurar is nationalist, temporary blocked and Zolapin is a "professional" troll and I think they participate to the contribution imitation contest which takes part now in the french wikipedia with the help of IA software based on chat GPT. The vandalism is very perverse because some times they make a vandalisme with one account and an IP they revert the vandalism so they make believe that they are a membrer of the RC patrol! one of them wants even to become an admin thanks to his patrol although he is banned defninitively! Oppose The requester is blocked for 3 months on fr.wp for repeatedly trolling the various community spaces [1]. Zolapin and Baldurar's profiles have been known for years, they are completely different in their contributions and attitudes, and Zolapin's socks have been the subject of dozens of CU resquests without any evidence concerning Baldurar and Noah S. ever having been provided. @Do not follow: read the pages on FR in RCUS and in the pages dedicated to each banned, they explained that the banned imitate themself among them which explain why sometime the RCU can not be sure who is who, thats normal because the trolls just play with them and their nerves!

Reason(s): Very similar editing pattern under main space (ex. zh:Special:diff/73095043 & zh:Special:diff/37612895, etc.). Local users have suspected that these types of small edits were aimed for the two users listed above to "earn" auto-confirm status to participate in article candidate discussions, such as DYKC, GAC, and FAC; the submitter also commented that both users "barely contribute to articles" (Chinese:「近乎完全不編輯條目」) after they have earned auto-confirm status. I personally think that it could be purely coincidence, given how limited the number of ways new users can give to the Wikipedia community, but, after viewing their contribution history, I found it hard to persuade myself that there could be two users who have near-exact editing behavior in main space (purely small edits such as changing wording of a phrase in large amounts, mostly in low notability articles). Hi, this is admin from zhwiki. Sorry for the confusion. This request is submitted because it is reported that --

all three accounts involved in adding contents with copyright concerns to the article zh:天道_(台灣電視劇);
their behaviors (i.e., the contents they added) are very similar;
the time they presented are close;
two accounts are created very recently;
a series of IP edits also involved in the above mentioned copy violations with a similar behavioral pattern.

Comment A new account, created after the blocking of Papakostasgiorgos is ̺Stavrougiorgos, and seems to be related with them. Most likely there is a connection with this case of sockpuppetry (= accounts Giorgoselefteriadis, Stavrougeorgios & Giorgosneris; note that username Giorgoselefteriadis is a variation of Giorgoseleftheriadis, and username Stavrougeorgios a variation of Stavrougiorgos). ǁǁǁ ǁ Chalk19 (talk) 08:08, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

In general, it is not allowed for a user blocked by socks to directly request themselves as the subject of investigation unless it is specifically necessary. If you need to investigate, discuss it locally or ask the admins to request. Reason(s): After Mosowai got banned from editing, the account 852hk (which renamed to Renamed user t9KjM2uN7L after the local SPI case was posted) resumed editing around the same time. Both users have very high similarity in editing topics (Interaction Timeline, quite hard to find users who have the same interested topics this much in the span of 2 years) with similar beliefs/ideologies (see zh:Special:diff/76264134, which correlates with Mosowai's opinion about the title of the page zh:Special:diff/76147974 despite oppositions that were also outlined later). It is possible that the user has other accounts that are not spotted, and, therefore, a check is requested. Thanks in advance.

Discussion: Discussed at Village pump / ta.wiki has same policy as en.wiki

Reason(s): Recently same pattern of users edit without any wiki guidance. Almost all of their edits are deleted since there are copy & paste, machine translation, POV, etc. Therefore we would like to know that are they socks who makes vandal. Reason(s): I request this check for three reasons:

I have been blocked on viwiki for being misunderstood as a sockpuppet of Trieu Thuan Son (i.e. 42.118.117.251; 42.118.157.37; TARGET6tidiem) so that I cannot request a check there.
I might have reverted 5 edits by 103.247.55.83 on the article Chiếu hết (cờ vua) but for some reasons (help readers/editors to find these articles easier), I restored all of these edits then created a lot of redirect pages there, lead these editors 220.221.0.84, 59.27.249.33, 112.68.43.198, 126.125.99.198, 70.95.187.121, 126.59.249.49, 103.247.55.83, 59.27.249.33 vandalize. Declined I honestly don't understand why someone who is blocked has no chance to appeal on their talkpage or via email...that seems counter the values Wikipedia implores. But, alas, viwiki has two of it's own community checkusers that you can reach out to for this, either through their meta talkpage or meta email.
