Global bot status for MahdiBot

First a note: Flag was rejected on dewiki because Mahdiz was not able to run this bot using the correct python version within 60 days (and running on toolserver was denied by DaB.). On enwiki his third request is pending for the same reason. Most of his local bot flags are automatic approval flags.
I would oppose a global flag at this time because of three reasons:
  1. a bot user page exists only on few wikis although this bot has edit on many wikis. Even wikis this bot has a local automatic approval flag do not have a user page. It's important that a global bot operator can be contected by local authors easily. e.g. some top examples: local flag on fywiki with more than 300 edit, but no user page; 236 edit on glwiki without botflag and without user page.
  2. The operator started using his bot on wikis without reading local bot policy first. e.g. on frrwiki and mlwiki the bot was started without permission.
  3. The flag request on dewiki has shown that Mahdiz is not familiar with all details and possible bugs of the pwd interwiki scripts. That's ok for running on major wikis because there are people who control bots and can help somtimes. But for global flag some more experience is needed.

hello and thanks to response.
1. im able to run bot in dewiki. im answer about this to xqt and im think his accepted. and if you see closely, is not rejected. because im busy, and worked in fawiki, so im not continue accept apporoval in dewiki.
2. i think, im say this over five times(and DaB accepted). on those time, in toolserver rules(rule 9.4) say not run it Continuous. im run it manually. and As far as I remember is not denied by dab.(im talking about Past not now)
3. in enwiki is you seen it(im not think so), im request for approval and im in trail edits time. in first request in enwiki im in vacation and its expired. and in second times im wrong in to some arguments,(im think you are wrong worst that me. like in fawiki and enwiki. and im think your bot blocked in this project. ) and they rejected.-Although they make a mistake and blocked my bot, im talk him(who blocked my bot) and accept and unblocked-. and in third time in trail edit(and soon is done).
4. about this notice, your right. im forget it. im build userpage very soon,(for all project)
5. so if you say every body access to global bot is not faced with these problems? im requests for bot flaged in 60 project. many global bot when they access this permission not flaged most in 30 project(in better time). also im requested for global bot to prevent Overtime work. If you want to like this (say about this on top) im request for flaged in all projects one by one.
6. is your comment and can't Review it. but im ask you read again my answer(specialy about dewiki) maybe your opinion is change:)

  • Strong Oppose for several reasons :
    1. Your bot is currently blocked on no less than 5 wikis !
    2. I'm not sure you've understood TS's rule 9.4… Do you run your interwikibot on the toolserver, even manually, or under screen, etc. ? If so, you are only allowed to run it occasionally. Running it more often is strictly forbidden ! Please carefully read DaB's mail about this topic again.
    3. I'm not sure you're at ease with what you do : I'm surprised when reading your second Request for Approval on enwiki that you wasn't even able to stop your own bot ! Your explanation here is "in second times im wrong in to some arguments" (I don't really understand what you meant by the way…).
    4. Your request on dewiki is quite surprising too : it looks like you don't really know what you do : are you able to run a bot ? Running a bot doesn't only mean "tipping 'interwiki.py -auto' on a screen" but also being able to know how to stop the bot in emergency cases, how to upgrade it, what he did to revert it if needed, checking from time to time if everything's right, etc. (and this is only basic requirements ! Having a knowledge of python when using the pywikipediabot framework is also a good thing !)

first im asking totoazero to read my answer to Merlissimo again.
  1. amazing. but im really shame when i checked the some bot present in this list. im some test 5 bots and i give this result: 3 blocked, 4(!!) blocked, 1 blocked, 2 blocked. and i have not continue. so you have removal access global bot??
  2. im asking again from you to read my answer to Merlissimo. im say((im talking about Past, not now) Dab released this mail in June 2012. this discuss related to one or two month ago.
  3. is really funny. I think you not read my answered. Please read it again.(Unfortunately im feel you mistake)
however. toto azero i can't understand Why do you insist? please read date of that request. (In order that your say anyone has been Scientist). This request when I was a novice. you say when im my bot done first edit, i have know everything about python and pywikipedia?? Certainly im not.I did not gain experience, but know im get it.
And other im saddened when im see when you judge unfair and And only based on your observations. I'd like to see some more detailed explanation on what you are going to do with the bot. Currently it looks like the bot only creates categories en masse. -Barras talk 11:36, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
The bot has fixed Births by year/date (e.g. "Category:1872 births") and Deaths by year/date (e.g. "Category:2010 deaths") categories or created them if they were non-exist. Abdullais4u (talk) 08:01, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Note: The bot currently runs as welcomebot on uzwiki. This job was not requested at the local bot flag request page (and most of the affected users havn't any edit on uzwiki). Merlissimo (talk) 18:23, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
My bad. Also, it created stubs about NGC objects. It's planned the bot will fix grammar issues (such as changing apostrophes in Uzbek words to ʻokinas) and template updating. Abdullais4u (talk) 07:17, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Actually, when there is a local request on a wiki (such as here), and a local bureaucrat has commented on this, stewards shouldn't act. The crats on simplewiki are fairly active, there was no real reason for a steward to act here, imho. -Barras talk 21:21, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I request for temporary bot flag. I assume that It sounds like strange ;) The reason I request for temp. bot flag is that I will do mass-repeat-editing without bot (Also, I'm doing it now.). Such mass-repeat-editing can flood Recentchanges, and It can disturb diligent editors. I don't want to do that. Our project doesn't exist flood flag and local 'crat is long long... inactive.
