The Baltimore story is that a woman came into a facility to "return" a package. She was told the facility could not accept a package for "return." The woman became frustrated, left the package on the counter and walked out. Authorities believe this incident will be nothing to do with terrorism, but out of an abundance of caution, it is under investigation.
All shipments from London to U.S. have been "embargoed."
Update 1:00 p.m. CDT:
Homeland Security has just increased security on passenger planes, as well as cargo planes.

Joe Sestak Ad Smears Pat Toomey with Dog Poop Video
Joe Sestak, Democrat incumbent for Pennsylvania's 7th District House seat, has a new ad out smearing Republican challenger Pat Toomey with poop from his the Sestak family dog. See the video below.
From Townhall:
Joe Sestak features a bag of feces collected from his family dog. Sestak swings the bag into the trash can, and equates it with the policies of his opponent.Sestak defends his vote to bail out the banks. Toomey, keeping to the issues, does note the enormous funding in Pennsylvania by the DCC to defeat him but gets to the real issues:
“Serial bailouts of failed companies. Government nationalizing whole industries. Spending money on a scale that I never thought was possible. Corresponding debts and deficits that are completely unsustainable,” said Toomey. “You add in cap-and-trade, government run health care... is it any wonder we don’t have a recovery going on?”

Kaukab Siddique Pennsylvania Lincoln Univ. - Wants Israel Destroyed, Holocaust a Hoax: This Terrorist is Still Teaching
Kaukab Saddique is an Associate Professor of English/Literature at Pennsylvania's Lincoln University. He ranted with a microphone and a crowd of Leftists and Muslims in Washington, D.C. near the White House on Labor Day.
We must stand united to defeat, to destroy, to dismantle Israel, if possible by peaceful means. Perhaps like Saladin, we will give them enough food and water to travel back to the lands from where they came to occupy other people.
For the Jews I would say see what could happen to you if the Muslims wake up. And I say to the Muslims, dear brothers and sisters unite and rise up against the hydra headed monster which calls itself zionism. No getting around the fact that Saddique called for violence against Israel, and issued a threat to Jews. Just another fatwa, exercising his 1st Amendment right. The Holocaust just a hoax, says Saddique. It's all about his freedom of speech. If I encouraged Americans to eradicate Palestine from the face of the earth, I'd be charged with a hate crime. Not Saddique. He has tenure...and he's a Muslim.
This is not a new mission for Kaukab Siddique. According to CBN, he's been spewing this same message for "at least a dozen years." Click the link below to read the article.
Erick Stakelbeck of CBN News narrates the video.

Department of Justice Lies About New Black Panthers Case Dismissal
While I was off having fun on Hilton Head Island, proof surfaced that the Department of Justice (you know the one...where "a creeping lawlessness" lives unencumbered) lied, and lied significantly about the dismissal of the case of voter intimidation against the New Black Panthers.
Senator Charles Grassley was outraged and began an investigation. One of the prime DOJ attorneys on the case quit in protest and another was transferred out of Washington D.C. The attorney who quit, J. Christian Adams, joined Pajamas Media, testified at a hearing under oath, and has been making his case on talk shows that racism is rampant within the Department of Justice.
On September 20th, Judicial Watch forced disclosure of DOJ documents. First up is info that Democratic election lawyer Sam Hirsch was involved in the dismissal. Odd that, because Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Thomas Perez, "swore" in testimony that "no political leadership was involved in the outrageous dismissal.
The “Vaughn index” describes documents responsive to the lawsuit currently being withheld in their entirety by the Justice Department. The index details a series of emails between Assistant Deputy Attorney General Steve Rosenbaum and Deputy Associate Attorney General Sam Hirsch, who was described by Slate magazine as a “DC election lawyer who represents a lot of Democrats” prior to joining the Justice Department.
The index describes eight email exchanges between Rosenbaum and Hirsch, taking place on April 30, 2009, the day before the Justice Department reversed course and declined to pursue much of the Black Panther case.Perez, according to Judicial Watch, under sworn testimony said the whole issue was just "a case of career people disagree with the career people."Uh...right! the Blacks in some kind of military garb, brandishing a billy club had nothing to do with revered voter rights.
“These documents show the Obama Justice Department’s decision to drop the Black Panther case was certainly political and potentially corrupt,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Black Panther decision is a scandal for the Obama administration and it merits serious attention by investigators. Assistant Attorney General Perez seems to have been less than candid in his sworn testimony when he said no political appointees were involved in the decision. This scandal has just gotten a whole lot worse for the Obama Justice Department.”J. Christian Adams, the man who has claimed "a creeping lawlessness" in the DOJ, said when the news from Judicial Watch broke it was a "bad for for the Justice Department, but a worse day for country."
If Congress ultimately suspects that they were lied to, they might scrutinize an undated entry: Karen Stevens is listed as an author of “talking points for the Attorney General regarding the DOJ’s handling of the NBPP litigation and the decision to drop charges.” She should get a subpoena from Congress next year also.
Similar entries evidencing the creation of an ultimately dishonest spin are throughout the log.
I would not be surprised if the log omitted documents. Inspector General Glenn Fine’s investigation of the Voting Section should include an inquiry into whether the Department is fully responsive to various requests from Congress, the press, and the Civil Rights Commission.
The log provided by DOJ to Judicial Watch contains numerous unidentified documents. The listing provides no information whatsoever about these documents, as the identity of both the authors and recipients are omitted. Congress might also demand to know what all the untitled, undated entries are in the log.To understand how important this case is, Adams testified that he heard someone inside Justice state that this administration will no prosecute Black wrongdoers," for any kind of voter fraud or intimidation. For details on the Voter Intimidation case against The New Black Panthers, including testimony by an iconic Civil Rights activist, and the DOJ bias for Black Wrong-doers," begin here, and then see the list below. Tom Little America Optometrist Killed in Afghanistan
An American optometrist is among the dead medical workers in Afghanistan. He has worked in Afghanistan for 30 years.
BBC:
Team leader Tom Little spent more than three decades in the country, a leading member of the IAM team working with the Noor Eye Institute. One of his students was former Afghan foreign minister Dr Abdullah Abdullah who told us: "Dr Little travelled the length and breadth of Afghanistan, treating thousands and thousands of Afghans."From the Bethlehem Times Union, Dr. Little lived in Delmar,
...has a Delmar home but, with his wife, Libby, has spent most of the past three decades in Afghanistan, is believed among the dead. One of the local churches that supports the Littles’ work, First Presbyterian in Schenectady, put out word to its congregation on Friday that Tom Little had been killed.
In his 30 years in Afghanistan, Dr. Little cared for and operated on thousands of Afghan men, women and children. It’s quite possible he cured the eyesight of the Taliban man who shot him to death. This report says the group was murdered by Taliban in the Badakhshan Province, although earlier reports have named the Nuristan Province. Information seems to be somewhat confusing on where the Americans were shot down. For now I'll leave this report and the three linked herein, and perhaps we'll know the truth before long.

Democrat Hit List Targets BP Republicans
Get this. Democrats have added five Republican senators to their "hit list," naming them BP Republicans. Nevermind that Barack Obama received the biggest donation of anyone in Congress from BP, and millions arrived in the warchests of prominent Democrats. Ah, none of that has anything to do with "the list." The list is merely...convenient - and targets hotly contested seats. To be clear (as Obama would say), it really has nothing to do with BP, and everything to do with a Democrat smear. Democrat funds will flood into these races. Read below what you can do about it.
The Liberal battle cry ringing forth: "stop standing in the way and start working with President Obama and Democrats," the list names a Republican senator and a Republican congressman Sen. David Vitter (LA) and Rep. Joe Barton (TX). The remaining three are candidates trying to unseat Democrats: Candidates for the Senate, Ron Johnson (WI), Dino Rossi (WA) and Pat Toomey (PA).
Previously designated BP Republicans are Rep. Joe Barton (TX) and candidates for the Senate, Sharron Angle (NV) and Rand Paul (KY).
Let's keep these people on our donations list - as little or as much as possible to give. If you have not made online donations before, it is very, very easy. It is safe and your name can be kept private. It takes about 2 minutes, no longer. Every cent counts, and if you do donate, please put a notation that you are donating with the Ten Buck Friday bloggers and readers. No on in Ten Buck Fridays benefits in any way by the donations made. Our Internet presence can be a force for great good. By the time November rolls around, let's make our candidates aware that we are here, working for them, knowing they will be working for us.

Jean Stevens Lived with Corpses: Philly Woman Jean Stevens Exhumed Hubby Sis - Took Them Home
A Philadelphia woman, Jean Stevens, had the embalmed bodies of her twin sister and her husband dug-up. She took them home to live with her. See the video below.
Mrs. Stevens, 91, has cared for James, her husband of 60 years, dead now for more than a decade. She placed him on a couch in her garage.
Her twin sister died of cancer in October. Jean buried her twin in the twin's own backyard, then had her 'retrieved' and moved to her own house.
June Stevens was dug-up just a couple of days after burial. She has laid in a spare room and received tender care from twin sister. Jean dressed her in her best housecoat, put her glasses back on and treated her loved one to her favorite perfume. Jean and June married twin brothers.
Someone tipped off police. The bodies were taken from her, and are now at the Coroner's office. An investigation is underway. From the Washington Post:
She knows what people must think of her. But she had her reasons and they are complicated, a bit sad, and in their peculiar way, sweet.
Dressed smartly in a light blue shirt and khaki skirt, silver hoops in her ears, her white hair swept back and her brown eyes clear and sharp, she offers a visitor a slice of pie, then casts a knowing look when it's declined. "You're afraid I'll poison you," she says.Mrs. Stevens said she hates "death" and couldn't bear to be separated from her loved ones. Another complication: both sisters are/were "severely claustrophobic." Spending an eternity in a closed coffin was too terrible to think about.

Megyn Kelly Christian Adams: DOJ Bias for Black Wrong-doers: No Charges Against Blacks with White Victim
Megyn Kelly today aired the second portion of an interview with J. Christian Adams, a former Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney. Adams says a mandate within the DOJ requires no charges will be made against blacks with a white victim accuses them of voter intimidation. The DOJ's answer to Adams' charges is simply that Adams is a Conservative. When does voter intimidation hinge on a political persuasion?
You'll remember that the New Black Panthers stood outside a Philadelphia polling place in November 2008, one with a nightstick. A poll minder who served as Robert Kennedy's campaign aide was there and says there was definitely intimidation going on, and others said the same. From Adam's resignation letter, we learn that these men threatened the attorneys inside DOJ.
Adams resigned his position after a DOJ Civil Rights Division head instructed the attorneys on the case to dismiss it, even though a default judgement had been brought. Evidence was strong against the New Black Panther Party members. For five months they refused to answer the court or show up for court, thus the default judgement.
Rep. Frank Wolf tried (R-VA) tried to refile the case. He was denied the opportunity to interview the lead attorneys. Subpoenas were let, one for J. Christian Adams, and the DOJ refused to let him honor it. In Adams resignation letter he noted that he was forced to ignore lawful subpoenas:
...the subpoena is based on an explicit federal statute and seeks answers about why the case was dismissed. I have incurred significant personal expense in retaining a number of separate attorneys and firms regarding this subpoena in order to protect my interests and advise me about my personal legal obligations to comply with the subpoena. The following is also in his letter of resignation:
As you also know, the defendants in the New Black Panther lawsuit have become increasingly belligerent in their rhetoric toward the attorneys who brought the case...
Here's some information about the men accused:
Malik Zulu Shabazz is a Howard University Law School grad and a resident of Washington, D.C. Jerry Jackson is credentialed to be at a the polling place as he is a 14th Ward Democratic Committee member. "Minister" King Samir Shabazz says he is "about the total destruction of white people." Attorney Eric Holder is doing his part to help his brother. Is it too far out to believe they are serious in the intensity of whites? I don't think so, and now the government we put in place has their back.
For the record, Christian Adams says there is a "creeping lawlessness" inside the Department of Justice.

Christian Adams with Megyn Kelly: DOJ Atty Resigns DOJ in Black Panther Protest Video
Megyn Kelly interviewed J. Christian Adams, the Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney who was the lead attorney in the prosecution of the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation at a Philadelphia poll place. In what Adams says is the clearest example of voter intimidation in the history of his career was judged guilty, then DOJ Civil Rights Division was ordered to dismiss the charges and drop the case. See the video below.
Most disturbing, the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions. Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims....Open contempt is voiced for these types of cases. In The Washington Times, Adams made these points:
1) The dismissal of the Black Panther case "was motivated by a lawless hostility toward equal enforcement of the law."
2) Some in the Department "abetted wrongdoers and abandoned law-abiding citizens victimized by the New black Panthers.
3) Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Tom Perez "inaccurately" testified to the House Judiciary Committee
4) "Most corrupt of all, the lawyers who ordered the dismissal - Loretta King, the Obama-appointed acting head of the Civil Rights Division, and Steve Rosenbaum....
5) Some inside Justice say this is an isolated incident, but other similar cases happened at polling places in Philadelphia, including one targeting Hillary Rodham Clinton. Adams says "the law clearly prohibits even isolated incidents of voter intimidation.
6) The evidence shows that voters were affected by intimidation, but even if it didn't, the law demands punishment of "an attempt."
7) Some co-workers argued the law should not be used against black wrongdoers because of the long history of slavery and segregation. "Some called it payback time.
Note that Kelly asked for a statement from the DOJ, and part of their answer to Adams is that he "is a Conservative." What does being Conservative or Liberal have to do with Human Rights? (Thanks to Lonely Conservative for the video)

Philadelphia Bars ICE from Arrest Data
Philadelphia has decided to deny ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) access to their database of arrests, which includes country of origin.
ICE has had a year-old agreement with the city to use the police database. Philadelphia is a tad upset that ICE has actually deported persons because they are in the U.S. illegally. The city of Philadelphia is obviously breaking Federal law by knowing the person is illegal and allowing them to stay. "Human Rights" is the worry. Some of the people in the database had committed small crimes, not big ones. Helloooooo! Most of us never commit a crime in our lifetimes. How about every city across the U.S. just following the law? Let's start with Washington, D.C.
Under the agreement, ICE agents can routinely access the city's Preliminary Arraignment Reporting System (PARS). That agreement is up for renewal on Thursday.
"It is the mayor's view that the PARS agreement should not be extended," Gillison [deputy mayor] said, speaking at a South Philadelphia church meeting attended by more than 300 immigrants and their supportersThis incident was reported at a meeting called by the New Sanctuary Movement:
One man, who gave his name as Ignacio Aguirre, described the arrest of his son. He said the boy had been at the beach, where he used a knife to cut a watermelon. He put the knife into a backpack. Several days later, without thinking about it, he took the backpack to school and tripped a metal detector. It was an innocent mistake, the man said, but it resulted in a visit from ICE and house arrest with an ankle bracelet for his child. Is Mr. Aguirre illegal, as is his child? When you read further into the article, it is possible that at least one person on the City Council might not be re-elected if deportations of illegals continue.

Dick Morris Joe Sestak: Dick Morris Suggestion to make White House and Sestak Talk
Deck Morris suggests, via an idea gleaned from Fox News' Judge Andrew Napolitano, that Pennsylvania Attorney General, Tom Corbett, convene a grand jury, bring in Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), maybe Rahm Emanuel, Obama's Chief-of-Staff and, maybe, Barack Obama to testify under oath.
Tom Corbett is a Republican running for Pennsylvania governor:
Corbett’s jurisdiction stems from the concept of universal jurisdiction, now accepted virtually everywhere. The concept is simple. If someone on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River fires a pistol across the Hudson and the bullet from the pistol hits someone on the NY side, where did the crime take place? For about 600 years, the answer would have been in NY, where the harm was caused. Under the Reagan administration, and in response to urgings from the Meese Justice Department, the courts began to accept the doctrine of universal jurisdiction. This principle gives jurisdiction to law enforcement in the place wherever any act occurred that may have resulted in a crime. Thus, under our scenario above, the shooter could be prosecuted in NJ or NY.
Thus, if Cong. Sestak was in one of his homes, in PA or VA, when he received a telephone call offering him a job if he withdrew from the PA Senate primary against Sen. Arlen Specter, law enforcement authorities in PA and VA — both of which have Republican state Attorneys General — can subpoena Cong. Sestak to testify before a state grand jury and compel him to answer the who, what, when, and where that everyone has a right to know.iApparently it is too much to expect Sestak to do the right and lawful thing. He either lied, or he didn't. He needs to 'speak' it because he brought it out. Now he needs to put it to bed. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) is pushing for an investigation separate from the White House or the Department of Justice. This sounds like a jewel of a plan - if the offer was made to Sestak while he was in the state of Pennsylvania.

George Washington Crossing Park Closed in Pennsylvania due to Budget Cuts
Pennsylvanians and Americans around the country are coming to the aid of the historic George Washington Crossing Park, which memorializes General George Washington and the Continental Army and militia crossing the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776. While money is being raised, so far it isn't enough. While this magnificent piece of American history sits idle, and school buses coming for the reenactment of the Crossing, no longer fill the parking lot, for lack of $1.5M, we have only to think about the waste and fraud in the Stimulus bill to know we have our priorities horribly skewed. See a beautiful video below.
Stimulus money funded a study on how "paying attention" improves performance at a cost of $850,000, there was $880,000 to pave a "back-up" runway for the John Murtha Airport, which averages 20 travelers a day, and $11M to Microsoft for a bridge to connect two buildings. This list could go on and on. The waste and fraud of taxpayer monies is incomprehensible, yet an important monument to America's founding is shuttered.

Tim Burns Republican for John Murthas Seat PA-12th District Video
The critical race for Pennsylvania's 12th District to fill the seat vacated by the deceased John Murtha is heating up. In the video below, Tim Burns, a Republican, says "this race is no longer about John Murtha," "it is more about stopping the liberal agenda of Obama and Pelosi." Burns said the 12th District voted for Murtha simply because he had been there for so long. The 12th District special election is May 18, 2010.

Newt Gingrich Tea Parties Militant Wing of Republican Party
Newt Gingrich has baldly said the Tea Parties will "end up a militant wing of the Republican party." If you weren't already done with Gingrich, now is the time to pitch this guy. Maybe he is promoting a new book with Kerry or Clinton (take your pick which one - either Hillary or Bill) - Tea Partiers Cling to Their Guns and Religion, or Tea Partiers Take Over Congress and Kick Our Butts Out, or....
Gingrich was speaking in York, Pennsylvania to a crowd of about 1,000. About Tea Parties:
Gingrich said the movement is a "natural expression of frustration with Republicans and anger at Democrats," which is "more likely to end up as the militant wing of the Republican Party" than as an independent or third party."This is why Gingrich will never receive the endorsement Tea Parties, or Sarah Palin.
Gingrich said the idea of running for President was "sobering and daunting," saying he feels some responsibility to his grandchildren to help fix the mess the country is in." What? He doesn't recognize that the Tea Partiers feel that responsibility every bit as strongly as he does? He doesn't realize that Tea Partiers feel the danger as deeply as he? His "militant" comment is not the way to do it, for gosh sakes. Tea Partiers are likely to do all they can to keep the "occasionally Liberal" Gingrich out of the Oval Office, and deservedly so.
We need Gingrich's brain, which learches Left, and reaches across the aisle, all too often, out of the Oval Office and working out of the RNC. When Gingrich is good, he is really good, but when he is bad, he is exceptionally bad. Remember, this is the man that wants to put your medical records online.
Weasel Zippers speculates that Newt is pandering for a job on MSNBC. Media Matters, Huffington Post, Think Progress and Democrat Underground are loving the Gingrich accusations.

Judgeships for Sale and Sestak Offered High-Ranking Position not to Challenge Specter
Rep. Jim Matheson (D-UT-2nd) voted against the House health care bill in November, and is on Obama's "undecided" list to vote for the next legislation. So what is a President to do? Buy him off, of course. Jim Matheson's brother Scott was nominated yesterday for the 10th Circuit Court by Obama. If this health care business is going to be over as soon as the President indicates, why not hold this nomination? There is vote-buying going on. If Rep. Matheson could not support the bill the first time around, he surely cannot stomach it now. Rep. Sestak revealed that he was offered a high-ranking position, by the White House, not to challenge Senator Arlen Specter's Senate seat.
Consider Congressman Matheson's record on the health care bill. He voted against the bill in the Energy and Commerce Committee back in July and again when it passed the House in November.
But now he's "undecided" on ramming the bill through Congress. "The Congressman is looking for development of bipartisan consensus," Matheson's press secretary Alyson Heyrend wrote to THE WEEKLY STANDARD on February 22. "It’s too early to know if that will occur."
Asked if one could infer that if no Republican votes in favor of the bill (i.e. if a bipartisan consensus is not reached) then Rep. Matheson would vote no, Heyrend replied: "I would not infer anything. I’d wait to see what develops, starting with the health care summit on Thursday."
Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) says he was offered a federal job in July 2009, by the White House, if he would not challenge Senator Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania. The White House essentially said Sestak lied:
A White House spokesman this morning strongly denied Sestak had been offered yesterday. Before the spokesman issued the denial a senior Pennsylvania Democrat yesterday said Whitye House officials there were angered by Sestak's account.Sestak announced his candidacy for the Senate in August. Rumors are that Sestak was offered the position of Secretary of the Navy, rumors which Sestak refuses to confirm, although he did say the position was a "high-ranking." Sestak (58) is a retired Navy admiral.

New Black Panther Voter Intimidation Investigation: Bartle Bull: 'You are about to be ruled by a black man cracker."
Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) is trying to energize an investigation into the Department of Justice's bewildering dismissal of a case of voter intimidation, which was effectively won by default. During the November 2008 presidential election, two, and maybe three, New Black Panthers stood outside a Philadelphia polling place. Whether two or three, three were named in the lawsuit. Two were dressed in paramilitary gear. One held a police nightstick. Witnesses complained that they did, indeed, feel intimidated
Bartle Bull a longtime civil rights activist and a poll minder for either the Republican Party of John McCain on the day this all happened, entered an affidavit, saying:
Their clear purpose and intent was to intimidate voters with whom they did not agree. Their views were, in part, made apparent by the uniform of the organization the two men wore and the racially-charged statements they made.
For example, I heard the shorter man [King Samir Shavazz] make a statement directed toward white poll observers that,...
‘you are about to be ruled by a black man, cracker.’
To me, the presence and behavior of the two uniformed men was an outrageous affront to American democracy and the rights of voters to participate in elections without fear. It would qualify as the most blatant form of voter intimidation I have encountered in my life in political campaigns in many states, even going back to the work I did in Mississippi in the 1960s.”The men named in the suit refused to show up in court - for five months. Last week, Malik Zulu Shabazz again did not show for a US Human Rights Commission deposition. Could you or I get away with that? Eventually, after numerous court dates, the judge ordered the Civil Rights Division to "file a final motion." That was not going to happen. The administration dropped the charges.
This from Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX):
The evidence was very clear,” Gohmert said. “There was a video that spoke for itself of the uniformed, billy-clubbed intimidation occurring in Philadelphia from a group that identifies itself as the New Black Panther Party and associates itself with the Nation of Islam.”The House Judiciary Committee voted DOWN a resolution that would have required the DOJ to give Congress an explanation for the dismissal of the case. Every Democrat on the Committee voted it down. Every Republican voted for the inquiry.
The dismissal came after "top: lawyers in the DOJ's Civil Rights Division and DOJ "career lawyers" in the got involved. Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, No. 3 in the DOJ, is responsible for the reversal. There was no protecting the civil rights of Philadelphia voters that day.
Hans von Spakovsky, writing for National Review OnLine points to a possible flurry of activity on this case. When White Visitor logs were released, he found dates corresponding with the dismissal with visits from Perrelli, Cassandra Butts, and Spencer Overton, each of which were previously actively involved with "voting issues" in their previous jobs.
On April 17, the judge in Philadelphia took notice of the failure of the NBPP defendants to answer the lawsuit by issuing an order giving Justice until May 1 to file its request for a default judgment. This comment from Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX):
On May 1, however, Perrelli met in the West Wing with Butts and Overton at 2 p.m.; later that same day, the trial team on the NBPP case suddenly filed a request for an extension of time — instead of a motion for default — telling the court that it needed additional time to draft an “appropriate” default judgment order.
This was a bizarre request and bizarre timing. Justice had had a full month to draft a proposed order, something that the experienced lawyers on the case could have done in a few hours. It appears they were ordered at the last minute to ask for an extension, instead of completing what they had set in motion on April 1 when they first told the court that the defendants were in default.
These men were members of The New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, an organization so radical that the original Black Panther Party has found it necessary to denounce it,” Smith continued. The Human Rights Commission, not to be confused with the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, along with Rep. Wolf trying to get an investigation into the dismissal moving.
The New Black Panthers are not just street riff-raff. The chairman, Malik Zulu Shabazz is a resident of Washington, D.C. and is an attorney. The thug with the nightstick is Minister King Samir Shabazz of Philadelphia and the head of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panthers.
The "minister" Shabazz allegedly said:
I has waited all my life for the day that Strong Black men could stand outside a voting poll in a Honk neighborhood and beat republiKKKan voters with a baseball bat to keep the motherf**k ers from voting for they racist candidate and walk away scott free and be a hero in the black community,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and that day finally here (Shabass inserted a cheesy smiley face). The third person named in the suit is Jerry Jackson. He is an ELECTED member of Philadelphia's 14th Ward Democratic Committee. He is a credentialed poll-minder for the Democrats and still has that privilege.
It time we up the ante on these white motherf**kers and take it to the next level.
Rep. Wolf has tried to move the investigation from the pervue of the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) into the statutory authority of the Inspector General's office. Every department within government comes under the IG's office - except the DOJ.
Finally, and perhaps after, Wolf and the US Human Rights Commission dug in the burr long enough, the OPR says, hey, we're working on it. But no one is holding their breath.
According to Jennifer Rubin at Commentary Magazine, The US Human Rights Commission will forge ahead and hold its first hearing into the matter on February 12th. Rubin believes the DOJ is not cooperating with the Commission.
Holder continues to stonewall, keeping OPR busy churning paperwork but never seemingly able to reach an end to the investigation. It is yet one more example of the consequences of one-party rule and the absence of significant Congressional oversight.According to the USHRC Commissioner, Todd Gaziano, three witnesses will testify on February 12. Mike Mauro, Chris Hill and Bartle Bull. All three were poll watchers "affiliated with either the Republican Party of the McCain campaign. Here's more from Jennifer Rubin:
All of these witnesses will describe the actions and comments of members of the New Black Panther Party, as well as conservations they may have had with poll workers inside the voting facility.Party leader Malik Zulu Shabazz thumbed his nose, again, and did not show up for his deposition.
Sources tell me [Rubin] that the Department of Justice has been requested to enforce the subpoena on behalf of the Commission. No word on whether Justice will do so, but it is hard to fathom what excuse Holder could raise to prevent enforcement of a duly executed subpoena on a third party witness with direct involvement in a matter which is the subject of a Commission investigation. Here's more from von Spakovsky on subpoenas:
The DOJ has reportedly ordered several of the trial lawyers to disobey subpoenas issued by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, but the subpoena fight is ongoing. Because the DOJ by statute is supposed to enforce the commission’s subpoenas, and instead is actively thwarting them, the DOJ is caught in an outrageous conflict of interest that cries out for condemnation. We have a racist administration. They protect that agenda by doing whatever it takes. Only Obamabots would seek to protect the NBPP under these circumstances. And remember, the place where the NBPP can receive protection are the courts, but they fail to show up. You and I would be sitting in jail.

Newark Liberty Airport Kiss Blamed for Shutdown
Video cameras in Terminal C at Newark Liberty Airport show a man and woman embracing just before they separate and the woman enters the secure area. The man, not a passenger, then walks down a secure passageway - the wrong way. The woman lifts a rope intended to keep those who have not gone through security out, and those who have, in. The man ducks under and the two walk toward the boarding area and out of camera-view, holding hands. The man is seen on another security tape exiting the building. He has not been identified. Update 1-10-10 - The passenger is identified as Haisong Jiang. See details below.
Obviously, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was not where they should have been, or if they were, they were asleep or unconcerned. The TSA says an officer was not where he/she should have been.
The Newark Liberty International Airport is one of the busiest international airports in the country, was the departure point of the September 11, 2001 Flight 93 that went down in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania - yet, apparently one absent TSA officer is all that stood between an unsecure person entering a secure area.
Update 1-10-10:
Haisong Jiang, 28, of Piscataway, New Jersey is identified as the passenger who shutdown the Newark Liberty airport to steal a kiss from his sweetie. Details here.

David Beamer is Todd Beamers Father: 9-11 Father Wants Regime Change and Military Trials
David Beamer, the father of Todd Beamer, the young husband and father who stormed the cockpit of United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001, is on FOX this minute. I'm hoping the video will be up shortly, but until then, I have paraphrased a few of his comments. Video added below - I hope you'll listen to Mr. Beamer. He has a sobering message for this country.
Mr. Beamer wants the trials put back into Military commissions in Guantanamo. He commented during the hearing that Democrats asked no hard questions of Holder, and acknowledged that Republicans did. He said the decision to bring this to New York was "left-minded."
Beamer said it is not too late to change this course. Holder can ask his boss, "can't I please change this course of action and put the trials back into military courts?" He said the administration could easily come up with the "appropriate spin" to explain the reversal of the decision.
I've adopted the mantra of hope and change. I hope we change the regime in 2010.
In 2010 and 2012, let's put the house back in order.
Keep in mind, we will have an even happier Thanksgiving in 2010 after regime change.
Mr. Beamer said his son, Todd, would have been 41 tomorrow. My message to Mr. Beamer is to echo the famous words of his son Todd as he and others prepared to enter the cockpit: "Let's roll!."

Andrew Breitbart Eric Holder: Breitbart More Tapes, Whistleblowers, Acorn and More
Andrew Breitbart helped expose the ACORN 'pimp and prostitute' investigation. After seven tapes, and billions of dollars to ACORN, Breitbart is outraged that Congress has not called for an investigation and neither has Attorney General, Eric Holder. Breitbart says there are more tapes, there whistleblowers just dying to get the word out, and oh...by the way, Breitbart has the skinny on someone...some organization...something...it's not just ACORN, according to Andrew Breitbart. There's breaking news that may explain why Holder is not investigating this corrupt organization:
On November 19th Breitbart appeared on Hannity and sent a message to Eric Holder (see video below):
And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.If you have missed the 'pimp and the prostitute,' or the 'prostitute and the boyfriend' investigation, the short story is James O'Keefe, posing as the pimp, and Hannah Giles posing as the prostitute, visited numerous ACORN offices across the U.S., seeking help with their business of 13 year old girls brought to the U.S. illegally, for prostitution. O'Keefe and Giles also wanted information on how to avoid the IRS.
The tapes are stunning. Never would I expect this kind of corruption and willingness to set up a business of this kind, using children - even from ACORN. But guess what, it happened over and over. - and remember millions of taxpayer dollars are funneled to ACORN every year.
Former California Governor, and currently California Attorney General, Jerry Brown, has announced an investigation - not into ACORN, but an investigation of Giles and O'Keefe. How bizarre is that? Listen to audio that seems to say that Brown has assured a San Diego ACORN representative that the investigation will show the fault lies with Giles and O'Keefe. Incredible!
So Breitbart threw the challenge out there. What's next? Well, The Hill has just reported that ACORN and its affiliates received $200,000 in Justice Department grants between 2002 and 2009," this according to "the department's inspector general.
No DOJ grants went directly to ACORN, but a handful of grants were awarded either to ACORN affiliates or to other organizations that sub-contracted projects to ACORN.No wonder we don't have an investigation into ACORN.
The report, requested by House Judiciary Committee ranking member Lamar Smith (R-Texas), also found a few instances of ACORN mismanagement of federally contracted work.
For example, ACORN received a $20,000 sub-contract to do community outreach on crime prevention in New York.
The organization that contracted with ACORN has not released the funds yet, claiming that ACORN submitted reimbursements "outside the scope of the agreement," including "fringe benefits" for the salaried staffer working on the project.Sub-contracting "to do community outreach on crime prevention?" Yet, underage prostitution of little girls smuggled into the country is okay by several ACORN offices? Note that these grants date back to 2002.
The DOJ did not audit the funds that went to ACORN or its affiliates, but did conduct an audit of one of the organizations that contracted with an ACORN affiliate. That audit concluded that the organization "did not properly manage the grant and did not adequately monitor some of its 36 sub-grantees, including the [American Institute of Social Justice]," an ACORN affiliate. An Inspector General found these descrepancies, and tonight with this breaking news, I bet he is fearing for his job. Inspector General Gerald Walpin found AmeriCorp misused $75 million in taxpayer dollars, and that report branched out to implicate Sacramento, California Mayor, former NBA star, and Obama donor, Kevin Johnson and an alleged inappropriate behavior with three underage girls. Johnson also allegedly diverted AmeriCorp funds for his own personal use. IG Walpin turned in his report and was fired by the White House. These are dangerous days for Inspectors General simply doing their job.
Because the Justice Department’s review found only small amounts of taxpayer dollars going to ACORN, it is imperative that the Inspectors General from federal agencies that have provided millions to ACORN undertake the same kind of review. The Justice Department IG’s report may prove to be just the tip of an iceberg-sized fraud. In the video below, you'll see Hannah and James in an LA ACORN office. Notice the sign on the door: Program for Torture Victims. What's up with that? Breitbart needs to back up his tapes and put them in several steel vaults.
