Guess Who's Sixteen Today?

Happy happy purrfday to a very special kitty, CJ "Holmes" Hickman!
Ok, now everycat pick out a purrfday hat to wear.
We have a special treat today in honor of the purrfday boy.

We have his favorite meal, Captain D's fish dinner.
We have shrimp dinners too, if you'd prefer.
Mmmm....that was soooo good!
Now its time for Ferrari cake! Would you like a wheel or some of the trunk?

While we are enjoying some cake, let's get to the presents.
Holmes is very much into music so we thought he might enjoy this:

And also this:

Now you can jam with the best of them Holmes!

But the best present of all didn't cost a thing.
Purrfday chin scritches from his boy.
Thank you all for coming to help Holmes celebrate his special day! Hope you got enough to eat and had as much fun as we did. We have posted a special slide show presentation above this post, be sure to check it out!

Many Thanks

Thank you all for coming to my 5th birthday party. I had a blast! We wore Meowmy out really good, she has been recovering for the past few days. Ha ha! Mancats don't fool around when it comes to birthdays. lol. She took some pictures during the party so hopefully I can get her to post them sometime soon. But guess what!?! We've got another birthday to celebrate! Tomorrow is Holmie's 16th birthday. Sweet 16! In case you don't remember, Holmie is our almost older brofur that lives with Meowmy's boyfreind Bob. So we will be partying again tomorrow, be sure to stop by and help us celebrate a very special mancat.

Holmes wants to enter too!

Isn't he cute? His mom said that he wanted to be a skeleton so our Meowmy worked on this pawsome costume for him. Ha ha! We think he looks great. He's already been making the rounds to all the houses. He's got Party Mix and nip nanners! Special thanks to Moki Joe Designs for the use of their freebie background.

It's not too late to post your own entry into the contest. If you need some help with a costume there is a certain Human who advertises on the Cat Blogosphere about doing pictures for special occasions...hint hint. Maybe she can help you out?

Guest Spot for Mancat Monday

This is CJ or Holmes as he is better known. He own's Almost Dad. He is 15 years old and still kickin! He recently was chased up a tree by a mean woofy and was stuck up there for hours cause it was too high to get down. He came down as low as he could but ended up falling and scaring efurryone. Although he was sore and a bit weary we are glad to report that he is perfectly fine!
When asked about his encounter with the mean old woofy he replied "no comment". But from the look on his face we could see that there was a lot he wanted to say about it! Back in his younger days he had a reputation for being a woofy smacker. He knocked a tooth right out of the mouth of one!
Holmes is a great mancat. He has been a best friend to Almost Dad since day one. They play games like soccer, guard dog and Can I Take Your Order or Talk into the Mike. This is where Almost Dad picks him up and holds him like a baby but then holds his back paw like a microphone at a fast food place. Because they are such good friends you can see that he doesn't want Almost Dad to leave for the weekend. He tried to pack himself in the bottom of the backpack twice before settling on top of the knapsack. It's hard to say goodbye to such a great mancat but he's always there to say hello when he comes back.
