Spring Scarves & Pendants

The entire month of March it has been cold and snowy. I have been so ready for spring, but Mother Nature has other plans. So my favorite way to dress up my boring winter attire with a little spring, is to add bright print scarf.... And one of my many Button,Paper and Bead Pendants. They are the perfect Blah winter clothes freshen up! And a new way to show off some of my new Key Creations! Enjoy!

Paper, Bead and Chain Jewelry

It's been so unseasonably warm this weekend that it is difficult not to start gardening or cleaning up outside, but it is only March. I decided to use this warm sunny day to take numerous photos of the jewelry I have working on and hopefully can sell some day. For a few I used these antique papers that were intended to be used in card making long ago. Pretty Spring flowers that would be interesting as pendants. Here is my first attempt.  I love the flower and paper combination. Perfect for Spring.. Or for Summer.  I felt I need to make a few more and one I will show at a later date since it was not photo ready. But this one made from discarded maps came out lovely. Too bad it is past St Patrick's day since this would have been perfect! Just a litte Paper,Bead and Chain! Enjoy!

What I Saw Wednesday- Easter Bunnies

Every spring my Husband and I becoming step parents to baby bunnies. In the numerous years that we have lived in our home, we have seen and cared for many bunny families. The tend to like our yard and our garden particularly since it is safe from dogs and cats. They only stay long enough to be able to hop out of the nest and out of our yard, but they are oh so cute while they are there. Just a tiny bunny out of the nest for a peek at the world. Mother Bunny taking a rest for the nest. Baby on the move (reason for the blur) and to get away from the photographer. So just a little glimpse of the Easter Bunny and babies that arrive each spring in my yard!

What I Saw Wednesday- Pussy Willows

Spring is slowly starting to show it's face here in the Northeast. It has been a long winter and part of me thinks that is not over yet since we had snow again yesterday! But before it snowed I was able to snap a few photos of a Pussy willow bush that always reminds me of Spring and Easter. Not much contrast on this gray day but they look like little bunny ears. The tree was loaded with buds I wanted to cut a few, but this tree was growing in a pool of spring mud. Fuzzy little spring coats fighting off the cold. Surround by a few dozen friends! Enjoy!
