reading your comment just made me realize I don’t clear the character roster after retrying on the same session so thanks lmao I’ll upload the build with all the bug fixes after the jam is over

Really cool game! I wish you emphasized the scale aspect of the game in some more interesting ways than just fitting through corridors, but I liked the camera spin and the building aspect.

I like the unique art direction you took with the game, and also liked exploring more of the map, like finding the key in the cave. However,  I feel like the start of the game could be less grindy, as I just summited the small peak multiple times to get enough money to buy equipment. overall pretty nice game

yeah I could beat it consistently when I made it, theres no satisfying end screen or anything though.

you use either ranged or melee weapons to kill the boss at the top of the scene, which would trigger a you win pop-up, since I just started unity when I made it, and was on a deadline

More responsive controls could help this go a long way, idk if it was intentional but it felt like i was constantly going in loops while simply trying to walk straight. The graphics, page design, and music all contribute to the overall vibe great though.

the vibe of the game is pretty cool, it feels like something I would play at a modern arcade game for tickets

I think the idea behind this could be turned into something really interesting, but the controls and camera movement are really hard to get used to.

I like the different types of attack patterns, it makes it a lot more interesting and difficult

the music is a chill bop ngl

simple but fun, wish the timer was shorter though

epic game got 28

the aesthetics and execution are great, I wish there was a bit more strategy involved though, since every level can be done by just sending out every unit at once.

simple but fun, I agree with previous comments on adding king health indicator, attack animation, and diversifying king movement. The art is also pretty nice.

Navigating around the map as a wizard was fun, I wish there was more variety of wizard levels, rather than just 1, 2, 5 and 30. It could make for better progression lvl 30+ if there were more high level wizards. Maybe there could be a simple countdown to see how many levels you can gain in a limited amount of time, but it was pretty good for 48 hours.

epic puzzles, really like the art

really polished looking game, amazing for 48 hours

really good for a first game jam, especially the cards

this game really makes you feel like a level 1 goblin, and its kind of like a horror game ngl, really fun and chaotic

the knight animation is really nice, aswell as the boss itself.

haha really similar to our submission, I really like the concept of expanding the amount of rooms maybe something else other than troops would add to the game's diversity.

the sprint is pretty epic and the art is really good for 48h.

The artstyle is really distinct and cool, and the controller's moving animation is hella epic. I wish it got harder over time though, since it never really felt challenging.

the art is really nice and stylistic, but I did encounter the same bug as mentioned before, where the ship wouldn't spawn anymore.

we did change some values concerning troop stats and coin income but there wasn't enough time to get the latest build in :sob:
