Hi Aegis, a huge thanks for trying my game and giving such valuable feedback!

I just released an update fixing many of the problems you said, removing cards now is way easier, and now you get a ferret when you start the game! Oh and I also added a new priest card ;)

About the key art that needs improving, do you mean the small icon in the top right when you're on the map?

Nice game, I found the scaling boxes mechanic a bit confusing at times, but overall the game is very interesting. Also the art and music are awesome!

I softlocked myself by throwing the ladder on the other side of the wall, then jumped to the left hoping to respawn :)

I couldn't beat the first level, I think the problem is that the collisions of the images are not very clear, the ball kept bouncing back on the second photo and I couldn't understand why

Switching between ages is a very original interpretation of the theme! I'm a little bit confused on what to do after going through the circles while falling, cause the game just restarts, but I think the overall concept has potential to be used in other type of games!

Cool concept, the problem with this game in my opinion is that it gets really hard after securing the first zone. I think a good way to mitigate that would that to make enemies shoot less projectiles or make them move slower, at least for the first few zones.

Still, I think you did a very good job with the art, and also the music and sfx feel pretty nice. Good job.

Nice game, I loved the art and the music was nice. As others already pointed out, I also found the dash mechanic a little bit akward to use, maybe because of the fact that you kinda just slow down over time, maybe if you make it so that the slime goes really fast and then immediately stops it would be less weird, but that's just a hypothesis. Either way, good game!

I love the style overall, especially the music, it's just amazing.

The mechanics are interesting and pretty original, I'm just stuck in one of the levels with the white glass thingy. But aside from that I can see you cared about the details, I love that you don't just get stuck in corners but you smoothly go around, that feels good especially when your window size is small. Good job!

Nice game, let's start from the things that I enjoyed the most: first and foremost, the level design. You got pretty creative and managed to always keep the game interesting, which is not an easy thing to do! Then the mechanic of changing size to fit through gaps is pretty cool (and also makes level look cool) and the music was amazing!
Now, here's instead a list of some small things that I would change to improve the game:

- explaining keybinds in game: even though the controls are listed in the itch page, it would be nice to have them in game so I don't have to tab out

- can't see when jumping while being very tiny: to solve this problem I would either reduce the jump height when you're being small or zoom out the camera while jumping

- distracting background: a pretty niche thing tbh, but for the background you probably want to use more dark/desaturated colors, and use vibrant colors only for the level layout. I suggest this article about Celeste Tilesets, it was an eye opener for me: https://aran.ink/posts/celeste-tilesets

Thanks! Ferret Mage is also my favorite card, and when you get epic cards it becomes even more op. There is a strategy that I just accidentally found while testing: so the crystal does not x2 the amalgam, and that's because I thought it would be too op. However, you can convert the amalgam into a ferret with the ferret mage, this way you can x2 while keeping its size! Add a repeat card or holy priest and you get pretty crazy numbers!

You do look for the bigger number, but I tried to make that process interesting by creating synergies between different cards that enable poweful combos, especially in the late game

I absolutely love the wavy effect of the text, and also the background looks very cool. But I also enjoyed the gameplay, tetris + roguelike is a very interesting concept that has a lot of potential!

Very good game, the dash mechanic felt very nice and it's cool that you can have different type of ammo.

Also I LOVED the music, I think it fits the game very well. Did you make it?

Very good game, the puzzle were very challenging! (the only level I didn't manage to beat was level 18).

I think the mechanic that confused me the most was the sand, took me a while to realize it's independent from the light direction, but I think the other mechanics and element combinations were very cool.

Overall well done I had a lot of fun. If I can ask, how many people were behind this project?

This game is AWESOME, wtf! My favorite builds are 231 and 131.

The concept is simple, original and works like a charm. Very good game, well done!

I love the sound effects, LOL. However, some areas of the map are too dark I keep falling off the map

10/10 just for the O.V.E.R.L.O.R.D acronym.

yeah you're right it takes a while, I guess it's because of the shadow effect, because also when the monstrosity spawned it did the same thing
