How does your game fit the theme?
An Anti-tower defense game where you are the attacker. Rather than building towers, you build a siege machine and attack the towers to get to the end of the level.

Amazing idea for the theme! Loved building my little orc warmachine.
On difficulty side it was a bit easy, but understandable in such short span of time balance is very hard to have time for.
Graphics were simple but I liked them and they did their job.
Music was also quite nice.
Overall solid entry!
Cool concept! The combination of tower defense and building, but building the units instead of the map, really made this game stand out. It fits the role reversal theme well while being inventive and fun. Building was a tad glitchy, but there's only so much you can do in 48 hours!
Great concept, it's pretty unique idea for reverse tower defence. The building stage a bit buggy, in firefox it's hard to find and place objects. Also I would love to see HP bars for towers and my machine to understand how it performs on the battle field. Currently the game is a bit unbalanced.
Great game concept. I have seen reverse tower defense before, but I have never seen one where you have to make the vehicle doing the sieging.
This is great! It almost has a mad max feeling to it. I ended up strapping the entire thing with engines and zooming past everything :p
This was very clever. Y'all did a great job. I beat every level. My biggest complain it is felt very RNG if I beat a level, sometimes the towers would just be off and miss every time. But the idea is soooooooooo cool :D
-Enjoyment: It is so fun to make your tank and then watch it go!
-Creativity: This is an amazing idea that you should keep working on!
-Presentation: Great starter art! If it gets more polish and game juice, plus a better color pallet, it would be perfect!
-Neat game indeed!! Please check out my non-creative entry when you can :D
I really like the idea of updating the siege machine and put it into the battle field. Good work!
I enjoyed the game too much, and you could even come up with a better strategy.
Really cool idea for a reverse tower defence game, building a cart instead of an army! Though I did manage to build a cart that beat all of the levels pretty easily. Maybe an upgrade system could have worked well, so you had to build better and better carts each time? I guess you can only do so much in 48 hours though!
I was so disappointed when I found out I couldn't see my creation during the actual battle! But that was compensated for when I found out you could dispense the orc party and fire arrows!
By the way, the motor's and shields' descriptions do not mention their cost.
We realized this right after publishing, but didn't have time to fix it, sadly. I'll try to patch it in after the jam is over.
Oh you could do a lot with that building mechanic, nice work
Nice concept, I'd definitely like to see this turned into a full-size release after the jam
Not sure how I won but that was addicting! Very fun mechanics!
Love the idea of building my own machine to siege in a classic TD style game. The building component was well executed, I really like the customization options for my attacking unit. With that being said it would have been cool to see how those parts altered my machine on the track, as in game it was hard to recall where the parts were in accordance with the base sprite to how it was effecting my run. Everything else is clean, some of the levels are incredibly unforgiving.
Well done.
We were planning to do that and make the machine visually, reflect on the in game machine, but unfortunately ran out of time to do so. If we revisit the game in the future, it's definitely high on our list of things to do!
Very cool concept, coming up with the best strategy was pretty interesting. If you want to make the art better, you can try keeping it consistent, this means that every sprite is going to have the same outline (or sprites won't have an outline at all) and pixel size will be the same on every sprite (for example the pixels on the buttons were bigger then the pixels on the tileset). The music was cool and i like how you changed the original track for the battle. The sound effects were also pretty cool.
Good idea, good work!
Nice game idea!!
