Infrastructure includes all technical aspects and facilities required to keep an organization's operations or business processes running smoothly. Infrastructure facilities are considered to all facilities related to an office building, road, water treatment plant, water distribution, airport, building and office, drainage, reservoir, bunding, retaining wall, bridge, sewerage treatment plant, power distribution, power plant, telecommunication, fuel facilities, fuel distribution, housing, port and jetty, and other facilities that support the operational activities of an organization's business process. PT. Kaltim Prima Coal considers the service level in maintenance activities that are related to the compliance performance in quality service, lead time, and work completion performance. These are some of the performance indicators used to measure the Infrastructure Department's agreement for contract maintenance. An operational strategy improvement in infrastructure department contract service maintenance is expected to improve the service level, shorten the lead time and increase customer satisfaction in order to meet the performance indicators. Six-Sigma-DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) approach is implemented to overcome the service level compliance problem in infrastructure operational maintenance service. To increase the competitiveness of ASEAN economy through ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the role... more To increase the competitiveness of ASEAN economy through ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the role and strategy of R&D in spending alignment need to be revitalised. An understanding of the current R&D strategy of each AEC member country through the comprehensive analysis of R&D expenditure is also required. This paper addressed the issues of R&D expenditure and intensity in Indonesia that is currently placed at a relatively low position among other ASEAN members. The quantitative method was utilised to achieve the research objectives. The data, obtained from 228 companies of various sectors in Indonesia, were collected and integrated as the empirical basis for testing the hypotheses. The results suggested that although the growth opportunities and leverage have different effects on R&D intensity, the intensity effect is still very inadequate. Most companies allocated their R&D investment for internal purposes. They invested R&D expenditures to increase the efficiency of their companies even if it had low contribution to their company value.

The volume of fish products might be abundant in one area, but scarce in another, a problem which has prompted the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to develop a logistics system for fisheries, the National Fish Logistics System (Sistem Logistik Ikan Nasional or SLIN). To monitor the implementation of the SLIN, a tool is required to assess its performance. This research aims to develop such a performance measurement tool. Through a combination of analysing previous research and conducting focus group discussions on the implementation goals of the SLIN, seven performance indicators have been devised together with their respective weightings from the perspective of SLIN stakeholders. These performance indicators can be used to measure SLIN performance in different geographical areas, in addition to identifying the areas and aspects that should be prioritised.

The objectives of this research is to describe and analyze the stages done by copper ore mill. This research used a concept analysis method, which focused on and could be basically defined to examine the basic elements of widely used concept to clarify ISO 14001 :2015 standards characteristics and relations. The result of this research provide a conceptual framework based on the standard of ISO 14001:2015-EMS : Requirements with Guidance for Use, where this framework consists of steps to design the transition change from EMS ISO 14001 :2004 to its 2015 new version. The description of every step is expected to give understanding and model for organizations that must conduct transition and for the ones that will start implementing the EMS.

Logistics and inventory operations, which involve transportation, communication, and storage mana... more Logistics and inventory operations, which involve transportation, communication, and storage management, are a crucial part of disaster relief. Chaotic conditions after a disaster might cause imbalances in the inventory level at each storage location or shelter. To ensure an even level of inventory among shelters, a new approach for modeling logistics and inventory operations after a natural disaster using probabilistic cellular automata is proposed. In our model, two states – normal and abnormal – represent the inventory level of each shelter. Each shelter receives items from a central warehouse and can transfer their items to other shelters. Our model uses eight parameters to characterize the dynamic interactions among shelters.
