My First Magnolia --It's a Tildy!!!

This was so much fun to create, This one's for you Candy, since you sent me the stamp and because I am thinking about you too!!! Hope this little sweetie brings a smile to your face.....

Isn't Tildy with Daffodil just a cutie pie!!! I colored her with copics and airbrushed inside the spellbinder die before I removed her.  I didn't want to draw anything for her to be sitting on so I made her sitting on the edge of the die cut frame,  I think it is just where she wanted to be.

I added a little lace and ribbon to match the paper flower I made a couple of weeks ago. I saw the flowers on
Karen Jumeaux website and she gave the link to the tutorial to make them.  Here is the tutorial.

I have made several of the flowers and they are so easy to make except for the splitting the layers apart LOL.
I added a couple of yellow butterfies and some blue/green half pearls to the ribbon and lower right corner.

Thanks for stopping by and viewing this little beauty and hope you have a wonderful Holiday week-end.

Happy Mail !!!!!

Oh, My Gosh, I knew my friend Candy Mills was sending me a package but I certainly did not expect this:  Lookeeee!!!!! My first Magnolia's:

Isn't this just the most awesome package anyone could ask to receive!!!!  I actually felt like coloring tonight so guess what my first project was?  You guessed it, a Magnolia card.  I just have it colored right now but have started to make the card.  It is going to be pretty cute,, but with such a cute image how can it not be ????
Candy, I love the stamps but especially love the emails I get from you as well.  Hang in there girl we will both be coloring up a storm soon.  I'll keep thinking about you and bothering you to find out how you are doing.  Thanks for being such a sweet friend.  I should have the card ready to show you all tomorrow, sorry for being a bad blogger this week, but I didn't have any energy to do any crafting, feeling better now so watch out.  You have been warned!!!

Hope you are all enjoying your long week-end. Just remember  a Veteran on this Memorial Day Week-end and any members of your family who have passed.

Thanks for stopping  by and have a great day.
