SUKOR ROMAT
Sukor Romat is an experienced lecturer and practicing artist/ designer in the education industry. Skilled in manual and analog design, 2D and 3D design, Fine Art, and coursework studies. Born in Malaysia, Sukor obtain his Master of Arts (M.A.) Fine Art and Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia as an Excellent Master Award in 2012. Currently, he is a Head of Programme for Foundation Studies, in Kolej Universiti Linton, Negeri Sembilan. As practitioner artist, he was a Finalist of Young Contemporary Art Awards, National Visual Arts Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Top 40 Finalist, Visual Art Award (VAA), Arts Festival at Starhill Gallery in Collaboration With Ministry of Tourism, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Honorable Mention, Tokyo Screen Print Biennale, the 1st NBC Tokyo International Screen Print Biennial, Japan and many more art competition.He also quite active in Art Exhibition mostly locate at Klang Valley area. He has also been invited to make a collaboration design with UBER Malaysia, Khazanah Iskandar (Johor), Yayasan Jantung Penyayang, Avenue K and many more. In book writing, mostly he does collaboration with another writer, most of the topic is about the artwork and design such as Young Malaysian Artist (ISBN 978-967-460-244-4), The Practitioners, The Working Studio- Review on The Graduate Program Master in Fine Art

And when unwanted and broken down technology are thrown away, they
become electronic wastes. And there’s an abundance of it. Though it is sad to see the wastes from these gadgets that we depend on so much destroy the environment and us slowly but surely. E-waste contains the electronic component that can be manifested and represents an aesthetics meaning, reaction of different era of technology (timeline/chronology) and a special history. This is because certain technology are created to suit especially for consumer needs. Foreseeing the danger, as an artist, this is a warning.
