We controlled the coastal breeding sites between 10-20 th May and 10-20 th June. We detected Kentish Plover with 12 pairs/9 UTM; Little Ringed never less than 20 m from the sea-wall for LrP and never less 35 m for KP. While two population of plovers are clearly settled in Viterbo and Rome province, the two shorebirds are very rare and localized in the southern province of Latina (Lago Lungo).
