Analysis of variance was employed for data analysis. Anatomical studies showed that the two species have similar features in the transverse sections of their leaves and stem but have dissimilar features in the transverse sections of their roots. The mineral result revealed varying quantities of the minerals in the various parts of the two species. The highest mineral composition in S. melongena was selenium (1030.0± 10.0) which was found in the root, while potassium (2.75±1.59) which was found in the stem was the least. The highest mineral composition in S. nigrum was calcium (873.33±16.67) which was found in the leaves, while potassium was the least (2.26± 0.55) found in the root. Vitamin studied showed varying quantities of the vitamins in the various parts of the two species. The highest vitamin was vitamin A in the root of both species when compared to the other parts. The implication is that the two species are closely related and this justified their placement in the same genus Solanum while the slight difference between them supports their separation into different species. The result also indicated that the various part of the two species contained adequate amount of vitamins and minerals for human consumption.

This article considers whether Ukraine's reform is achieving effectiveness, efficiency, and democratic governance objectives. The author uses a theoretical framework of complexity theory applied to the change management research in organizational studies. The application of this framework is appealing from the perspective of complex and chaotic organizational contexts, in which the security sector can stimulate the emergence of 'strange attractors' for system's adaptability. The findings suggest that Ukraine is building a shared vision following up on chaotic-framed Security Sector Reform acceleration since 2014. The gap between increased confidence in the volunteers and the army and declining confidence in general government institutions, economic burden, and Western cohesion issues constitute the risks that Ukraine's Europeanization faces.

The purpose of this report is to answer the following research questions: what is the background of the areas of limited statehood and contested orders in Ukraine; how and when could the areas of limited statehood and contested orders in Ukraine turn into areas with governance breakdown and/or violent conflict; what are the mechanisms of resilience in Ukraine; what are the interests of third parties towards Ukraine.

in Ukraine’s security policy. Ukraine’s situation as a post-communist state has left this
country with the legacy burden of Soviet and imperial Russian political processes and
institutions, which was far from the practices in NATO and EU member states. Its own
traditions were very latent. As Ukraine became independent with the USSR breakup, it
created all institutions anew, but it was replicating quasi-Soviet security architecture, yet
lacking the imperial resources. While Ukraine’s politics was until recently the bargaining
of oligarchic elites, they were virtually sharing the neglect of the importance of the security sector development, leading to its degradation. At the same time, the society and the
establishment were drifting away from Russia and integrating with NATO. The degradation
of security institutions led to tremendous difficulties in resisting the Russian aggression.
Yet, the societal resilience amidst a seemingly “chaotic” formal institutional environment
has supported the resistance to the aggressor and is fuelling the Security Sector Reform
in Ukraine.

With its regular re-appearances in contemporary academic and political discourses, this book explores and assesses a variety of its connotations. In order to do this, it applies a multi-dimensional approach to the Intermarium. Six researchers specializing in Central and Eastern European history, geopolitics, security, economics, and cultural studies are brought together here to share their expert knowledge. As a result, the book discusses various, unique aspects of the Intermarium. At the very end, a conclusion is drawn as to whether the cognominal framework possesses any feasible potential for emergence and development in the contemporary international architecture.
