Firstly, a questionnaire is proposed, at two years of interval, to the same group of pupils. The evolution of the average success rate is far from being as significant as expected. Secondly the authors decide to test the efficiency of a program designed to help children to solve problems involving learning and analysis schematas representing different types of mathematical problems. The results are significant and they underline the interest and the impact of this approach.

The questionnaire reproduces a practice analysis process from actual field practice and includes a set of open questions. It was completed by 475 teachers in training, including 190 secondary school teachers and 285 primary school teachers. The results indicate the interest teachers have in these processes, which support the professionalization work. It also underlines the existence of gaps between the stated goals and the users’ perception.

The aim of the research is to assess, in the French context, the impact of the evolution of the teachers trainings into master courses on the development of the expertise in proportionality problem solving. For this purpose, we will describe three successive periods from 2008 to 2015, each representing a teaching model. We will consider, for each of these models, the added value of every education year, the influence of the competitive exam, the specifics of the obtained licence. The exploitation of a questionnaire, constituted by 19 scaling and elargement problems, proposed to 1138 students, allows to check if the studied education model has an effect on the success and failures patterns,a as well as the levels of expertise that ensues.

Additional sources are likely to influence the ambient noise level, but the spatio-temporal influence they could have is rarely studied. The objective of this study is to identify urban noise sources that could improve environmental noise prediction and to quantify their respective contributions. An acoustic measurement campaign was conducted in frontage of 44 dwellings located on the city of Besancon (France). Measurements were compared to noise levels predictions produced from different noise maps in which sources were progressively introduced. Among the additional noise sources identified, four sources were selected and implemented in the prediction model: walkways, fountains pools, schoolyards and bus stops. The contribution of each source was analysed taking into account temporal aspects (diurnal period) and spati...

It rests within a framework of cognitive psychology stressing both the mathematical elements implied in several tasks of problem solving and the description of the specific processes they entail. The acquisition of the concepts of enlargement and scaling defines a field enabling both to study the processes used by the pupils to solve these various problems but also to analyze the conceptualization of this concept of scaling with reference to an enlargement ratio of a 1 n type in wich n is larger. Our study is a genetic one from the cm2 to the end of the 3rd form. It integrates two approaches that seem to us to be complementary : 1- a quantitative analysis issued from a quesionnaire resting on a statistic treatment integrating both factor analysis of the correspondences and a hierarchical upward classification. Such an approach enables one to distinguish five groups of pupil...
