It consists for the most part of »HITARC« pennies of Philipp von Heinsberg, Archbishop of Cologne (1167-1191), among them a significant number with privy marks. An imitation which is represented by six coins shows a secular ruler with an »ax«(?). 54 coins are traditionally assigned to Frederick I as Emperor (1155-1190) and the Aachen mint. The only light penny is of Bishop Rudolf von Zähringen (1167-1191) from Liège. The hoard can be dated to the 1180s.
