This paper aims to identify and assess the potential resources of physical tourism assets based on four criteria, namely tourism infrastructure and facilities, accessibility, level of environmental degradation, and tourist attraction levels. This study applied a descriptive method with data collection through observation and interviews with managers and operators of the Cibeureum lake area. The tourism resource potential data were measured based on indicators on each criterion, then scoring was done using a rating scale so that the potential level for each indicator and criteria could be identified. The findings of the research show that infrastructure and facilities, environmental degradation, and tourist attraction are at a medium potential level while accessibility is at a low potential level. It means that the infrastructure and facilities are already available but inadequate based on quality and quantity. Low accessibility means that the Cibeureum lake area has limited access due to damaged roads that cannot be passed by all types of vehicles. The medium of environmental degradation expresses that the area has been touched by human activities, but the impact is not too high. Meanwhile, the physical tourist attraction services are quite varied. The novelty of this research is that lake tourism destinations that have low accessibility are less attractive to tourists even though the attractions are appealing so it is important to provide adequate accessibility.

This study aims to analyze the rural tourism development process in two rural tourism areas, which have different natural and cultural backgrounds, but both can develop and survive as sustainable rural tourism. The research theory of this study is the use of 4As (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Ancillary) components as tourism asset for the rural tourism development process. This qualitative research utilizes the Penglipuran and Kertayasa rural tourism areas as a case. The study shows that the natural and cultural conservations (NCC) are the triggers to sustain and develop 4As components on the sustainable rural tourism development process. The local community has been aware that the NCC is essential to ensure harmony and life balance. The findings reveal that the local community in Penglipuran and Kertayasa has a deep understanding and awareness about a clear vision of how to realize the sustaining natural and culture of rural tourism for the best possible future of the region. These findings may help provide information for planning rural and regional communities development and facilitate the management of the process of developing and growing the rural area as sustainable rural tourism. This successful experience is worth learning and studying in-depth NCC for sustaining rural tourism.

This study aims to investigate the effect of attraction, accessibility, and facilities on satisfaction and revisit intention. Using quantitative research methods with 269 young water park tourists, the data were analyzed by using SEM-PLS modeling. The results reveal that attraction, accessibility, and main facilities are significant predictors of satisfaction and revisit intention of young wate r park tourists. Meanwhile, the role of supporting facilities is not as important as the main ones. Support facilities do not impact revisit intention through young tourist satisfaction, even though tourists are satisfied with the support facilities, these supporting facilities do not make them intend to revisit. This study also discovers an interesting finding, that support facilities, both directly and indirectly, had no effect on revisit intention, and satisfaction does not mediate the effect of support facilities on revisit intention. These findings provide a meaningful insight for water park managers to provide tourism components that satisfy visitors so they have a strong intention to revisit.
