Indian Summer Bella

I made a card today! But I had LOTS of help!LOL! I started with the FS challenge. I chose this card of Rachels to case. She used Indian summer dp and mine just came in the mail last week so I had to use it! I was trying to decide what image to use when I found this card by Linda I had bookmarked. I LOVE how she colored Bella in this and decided to use her card as my coloring inspiration. I used Jens sfytt for my layout. I also used a buttony bow I saw on Joannes blog. See told ya I had lots of help!LOL!
Im so glad to be back to stamping!! We got my new desk put together since I was w/out a computer and cable we decided it was a good time to get everything moved around. I love my desk and we finally have our kitchen table back!!LOL! Now I have my computer at my stamp desk so I colored up some images last night while watching some episodes online I missed while we were without cable. We were are heading to Mamas later to play and color up some images! Hope you have a great Sunday!

American craft Bella

Mama and I went on a quick shopping trip Friday that ended up not being so quick!LOL! I picked up this yummy American craft dp from Michaels. Its from the Amplified line I used pop chart and rockabilly. I love that the dp is embossed!! I love striped dp!LOL! I decided to pair the dp with this super cute Bella image Eloise Greengrass that my friend sent me. I colored Eloise using gamsol magic and added crystal stickles to her wings then I outlined her in copic cool gray no1. I used the OCC's sketch challenge for my layout but it ended up taking on a life of its own. Can you believe I used eyelets!?!? I havent used those in forever but as I was digging through my stash trying to find brads I came across these eyelets that matched the darkest purple in the dp!

Wanna win some blog candy!?!? My friend Jennifer from the OCC and Stamps and smiles is giving away some goodies!! Check out her blog here! Have a great day!!

Just a click away...

Congrats to Paula todays featured stamper. I love Paula's gallery. She has amazing coloring skills. I sat just oogling her coloring trying to figure out how she does it!!LOL!! I cased Paulas bella card here. I changed the stamp to Clickabella. I kept the layout but used a ribbon instead of paper for the strip. I also left off the sentiment and added the brads and washers instead. I changed the dp and colors to the retired SU kit I think its the one that went along with Delight in life.

I carried the design to the inside of the card(except the ribbon and brads) and I handwrote the sentiment Just a click away...

Hope you have a great day!!!

Glitter Surprise Bella

Todays technique challenge is glitter surprise. Instead of a background stamp I used the flip flop wheel and paired it with this Bella image I got from Ashley. Its hard to see the flip flops in the pic but its pretty IRL. I colored the image with SU, copic, and prismacolor markers. I also used some of my stash of east coast prep dp. I love this dp for fun bright cards so I had to stock up when it retired!LOL!

I cleaned my stamping area yesterday and rearranged some things and I found these sparkling brads from MM. Now my table is covered in glitter from this technique!LOL! I used Jens sfytt for my layout. Have a great day!

Cuppacakeabella on a summer picinic

I havent stamped in 2 days! *gasp* I had great plans to stamp the weekend away doing the dirty challenges. Know how many I did??!? Zip! Nada! None!LOL! I hope to try to do a few tommorrow.
This is a card I made Friday for Taylors dirty challenge to use cupcakes and of course I had to combine it with the sketch challenge Taylor hosts on her blog every Friday. I love this fun layout and thought it would be great for showcasing some cute dp. I used 3 patterns from summer picinic dp. I thought the dots on the dp were a cute match for the dots on her dress. I colored bella with gamsol magic. I outlined bella with copic cool gray marker. I colored the dew drop with red prismacolor marker for the cherry. I punched 3 1/2" circles and added clear dew drops. I had to leave off the sentiment b/c I ran out of room!LOL!
Have a great day!

Featured stamper Sunday

Well its Sunday and you know what that means!! Another featured stamper gallery to browse through and case. Todays featured stamper is Maren (mmbc). I loved the layout on the card I cased I know big surprise right!LOL! I looked back through my fs cards and most of them start out with the layout was the reason I picked the card!LOL!

My cousin just found out she is expecting her first baby so I knew I needed a baby card and as soon as I saw Marens Its a boy card with the awesome layout I knew it would be perfect for my Bella! I colored this Bella Monday and Im finally putting it on a card. The things I changed were :

-the colors: I love this color combo! Very girly! Can you guess what Im wanting the baby to be!LOL!

-ribbons: I used 1/4" grosgrain instead of wide ribbon

-stamps: I used Bella ( I forget the name), polka dot background, and circle of friendship for my sentiment.

-circles: I decided to layer my circles instead of spacing them apart.

-embellies: I used buttons instead of brads and added some stickles to the bears bow, rattle, and Bella's bow on her shirt.

-faux stitching: I added the faux stitching to the polka dot layer

-layer: I matted my main image

-coloring medium: Maren colored her image using copics. I colored mine using prismacolor pencils and blended w/gamsol.

I think thats it! This week was very busy but the kids had a great time at VBS. We also went to catch the reading bug and they had a magic show (Ken Scott) for the kids and it was so cute! They loved it! Have a great day!

East Coast Prep Superstar

Todays challenge was to make a card inspired by or about music. I thought my new ipodabella fit the challenge perfectly. I used Kirstens Sunday sketck for the layout.
Only Bella could get away w/red hot pants like that!LOL!
I used my SU markers for the dots on her jacket since paper piecing didnt happen today. Dont ask!LOL! The superstar I got from HL last year during one of their 1/2 off acrylic stamps sale. The bella baubles are my new fave embelishments! I put 3 clear baubles on the bottom left of the card. I also added stickles to the"fur" on bellas jacket, the ipod, her bow, and the heart on her pants. This card will go to my cousin for her bday this weekend.
Recipe:
Stamps: idpodabella
Paper: turquiose, real red, mustard, east coast prep dps
Other: wild wasabi ribbon, bella baubles, dimensionals, crystal stickles

Cutie Pie Cupcakabella

Today is sketch challenge day! I love doing the challenges on SCS it gets me stamping and definetly challenges me sometimes!LOL! If you havent participated in the challenges then DO IT! I promise you wont regret it!

For todays sketch I decided to also combine Mondays Mix it up challenge and use dots and stripes dp from Cutie Pie. I loved how the dots in the dp matched bella dress. On the top of the cupcake I added my new pomegrante baubles. I love them! I also used my new Lots of thoughts SAB set. I only inked up 3 lines for it to fit in 1 3/8" circle punch and layered w/scallop punch. The polka dot ribbon is from Michaels.

Off to take Alana to Dr. Have a great day!
