Raja Ravi Varma (29 April 1848 – 2 October 1906[1]), ek Indian painter aur artist rahaa. Uske kaam me European chitrkaar ke Hindistani sanskriti se milaawa gais hae. Uske painting mahangaa nai rahaa, jisse aam log iske kharide sakat rahin aur isse prbhawit howat rahin.Khaas kar ke Hindu deities ke aapan painting me rakkhae ke khaatir uske bahut aadar karaa jaawe hae.
Raja Ravi Varma, Travancore ke raj kare waala palwaar ke rahaa. Uske dui larrki ke royal palwaar me adopt karaa gais rahaa pichhlaa tiin rala ii duuno ke descendents rahin.[2]
Uske janam ke naam Ravi Varma rahaa aur uu Kilimanoor palace, Travancore me paida bhais rahaa.[3] Uu ek palwaar me paida bhais rahaa jon ki raja loagan ke dher nagiich rahaa aur pichhle 200 saal me uske palwaar ke larrki logan ke saadi raga logan se howat rahaa. Uske Raja ke padwi India ke Governor General, Lord Curzon diis rahaa.
