Technology has developed in many areas in Iraq, yet the internet and computer technology is not implemented in every classroom in most of Iraqi universities. The aim of this paper is to question: Why technology is not executed in the classroom of the universities? The point of this contextual analysis is to recognize the difficulties that face university organizations from executing computer technology in every classroom with support of ministry of higher education. Another question is: How popular or effective could the application of computer communication or computer application in the classrooms of our graduate students be when it comes to education? This study wants to uncover the underlying issues and reasons for the in capabilities in using technology. To examine this, the researchers inspected cases of teaching where technologies used in the classrooms as a lived experience and as an apparatus for encouraging direction while instructing in the universities. The outcomes show that the country's current educational and telecommunications infrastructure is weak and the ministry of higher education and universities need to manufacture the framework limit of schools, and furthermore to enhance educator preparing programs at all levels.

English Language Teachings (ESL/TEFL), previously a tutor-centered and classroom-based activity, are similarly following suit as evidenced by the availability of CALL methods and technologies [1] [2] [10], and also by the widespread use of Applications (Apps) implemented in smartphones, tablets and pads as well as laptops. Before appropriately implementing any strategy in our case study, a literature review is done to reach an adequate understanding of the state-of-the-art in terms of technology-assisted ESL / TEFL. Next, an appropriately designed questionnaire was used to ascertain the various technological as well as user-centred factors which may impact upon the efficacy and usefulness of such a plan and strategy. Increasingly, students are dependent upon mobile technology for information gathering and communication. How successful can this be in the context of ESL/TEFL? What can we learn from these factors, and how can we best adapt this technology and resource in the context of the English Language learning experience in Kurdistan Iraq?

Macbeth is Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy yet it is one of his most influential and emotionally intense plays. Macbeth portrays “the paralyzing, almost complete destruction of human spirit” (Shanley 307). Like most of Shakespeare’s plays, Macbeth deals with the question of kingship and portrays the “problems of legitimacy and succession” surrounding serious political power that belonged to the monarch, the court and the royal councils (Hadfield 27). Numerous historical and literary studies have been conducted about various topics in Macbeth such as human desire, cruelty, and guilt. Gender role and its relation with power also have a great significance to the interpretation of the play.

Eco-critically exploring the ways that these authors have depicted land and/or nature in their writing, this research argues that their works philosophically display a consciousness of the nature of man and the natural world and exhibit an ecological and environmental consciousness. The romantic poets were deeply concerned about what nature is and what one can gain from it, and this research attempts at eco-critically discovering the very linkage these writers have portrayed between culture and nature. This research maintains that there are eco-critical characteristics in their approach to the relationship between human being and his natural surroundings. These poets' concerns about the nature-human relationship tend to be an inquiry on the condition and the place of man. Portraying their understanding of the existence of the natural elements and their evaluation of human existence, culture, and the individuals' lives are crucial aspects of their artistic legacy.

Finding a real love is always considered to be the key point in the meeting of opposite sexes. In order not to face psychological problems in the future, everyone’s concern is to seek for the right person. This is true to some degree for many human beings. Real love can make one feel happy and pleased but it can sometimes make one upset and hopeless. Also, superficial love can be the same because it can be the cause of pleasure for the lover who only seeks a temporary relationship i.e., superficial love but similarly it can be the source of sadness for the partner whose intention in such a relationship is a real love. This strenuous power manifests itself in the behavior and sometimes in the appearance of the human beings. When one of the lovers stops his/her love relationship with his/her lover by starting a new relationship with another pers...

In the heart of an industrial period when materialism, economic competition and public domain were dominated by men, women had the domestic sphere. The apparent difference between these two spheres was not tolerable for Elizabeth Gaskell and she critiqued it. Her novel North and South discusses the perceptions on women, the idea of industrialization, and class distinction in Victorian Era. Developing her main character Margaret Hale, Gaskell critiques her society and the mentality behind a perception of patriarchal and materialistic society. Gaskell develops her character on many different levels by giving her various roles especially in the industrial north. Valuing certain qualities women possess in the domestic level, Gaskell brings Margaret to the debates, businesses, factories, riots and public sphere of Milton. Gaskell presents the contemporary and Victorian readers with a different perception of women,...

Hardy's treatment of nature reveals the foundations of thinking that has contributed to our contemporary environmental crisis. Hardy shares affinity philosophically reconstructing culture through presenting the truth value of literary art and nature in the heart of natural elements and images. As a reaction against a mechanized and materialized society that politically values technological advancements and expositions, self-consciously Hardy portrays the naked truth of nature and land and the place of man. Hardy has distinctively portrayed nature, having his own unique style and perspective in his writing. Analyzing Hardy's work helps learning about the Victorian social and ecological criticism on the man-environment linkage that could be biologically and psychologically intriguing and strange when it comes to the question of placing man in the world. The research will show how someone like Hardy portrayed his nature consciousness through a mere portrayal of any harmony or disharmony of man with his environment. Hardy encourages the notion that setting is an essential and central element in human life which consciously or unconsciously has direct impact on their life. Discussing different characters and their different qualities and the roles the characters are given in relation to the natural world surrounding them is immensely important to understand the man-environment linkage. Not only in his novels, but also in his poetry Hardy portrays the representation of man's true place in nature and the significant of such representation in human life.

Shakespeare substantially emphasizes the male-female relationship and gender dynamic and does not seem to treat gender simply as binary example of male/female. Shakespeare shows the relationship between gender and power which can be related to the patriarchal discourse of early modern England. He portrays women as major determinants in men‟s actions but “their function varies throughout the canon” and also in distinct categories of either “good or evil, victims or monsters” (Berggren 18, 11). Men are portrayed as strong willed and courageous, but female character like Lady Macbeth is also given a ruthless, power-hungry personality, which is typically, in the period, more associated with masculinity. Lady Macbeth, one of the main characters in Macbeth, is deeply ambitious and her role is essentially important to further understanding Shakespeare‟s presentation of female characters. In this paper, I will provide a brief context of Macbeth in terms of contemporary issues about sovereignty. I will closely examine the role of women in Macbeth, precisely Lady Macbeth, in Macbeth‟s downfall, particularly focusing on how and why Lady Macbeth is an unsettling and disruptive force to the order of the sovereignty. The paper will cover the contemporary issue of witchcraft, to suggest that Lady Macbeth‟s gender can be associated with supernatural subversion, as well as sexual temptation and the period‟s perspective about it. The paper discusses masculinity in relation to Lady Macbeth and the relationship between the plays actions and the natural order to suggest that natural order better reveals Lady Macbeth‟s disruption as well as the notion of monster in Macbeth. This essay will end by discussing the significance of the events that happen to both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth after the murder act and a conclusion.

However, little research has been done from an eco-critical perspective to make any claims about the Victorian approach to ecology. Very few people, such as John Parham, have analyzed the representation of the early-and-mid-Victorian novelists’ ecological representation. This study investigates the Victorian representation of the relationship between man and his environment or writing and land in Thomas Hardy’s The Return of the Native (1884). Analyzing Hardy’s work helps learning about the Victorian social and ecological criticism on the man-environment linkage that could be biologically and psychologically intriguing and strange when it comes to the question of placing man in the world. The research will show how someone like Hardy portrayed his ecological consciousness through a mere portrayal of any harmony or disharmony of man with his environment. Through the scholarships relating to the fictional region of Wessex in Hardy’s fiction, one also understands the place and importance of Egdon Heath as the central setting and also a living character in the novel in relation to the characters. The Return of the Native encourages the notion that setting is an essential and central element in human life which consciously or unconsciously has direct impact on their life. Discussing different characters and their different qualities and the roles the characters are given in relation to the natural world surrounding them is immensely important to understand the man-environment linkage. This essay shows the ways and reasons that Hardy portrays the representation of man’s true place in nature focusing on Egdon Heath and the significant of such representation in human life.
