Glitter, Stamps, & Ink

Good morning!  I'm still playing with some older stencils from A Colorful Life Designs, and I've fallen in love with the Spring Ring stencil.  It's got flowers and leaves and a butterfly and swirls.  

I wanted to see how this would look with a monochromatic card, so I placed the Spring Ring stencil over some pale mint cardstock and sponged some soft green ink over the stencil.  I trimmed this piece on the diagonal and adhered it to a panel of the same mint green cardstock.  To fill in the blank space at the top of the diagonal, I added some die cut flowers and a pierced border (Taylored Expressions).  For the sentiment, I inked up the "BLISS" from the Dream Words stencil with the same soft green ink as the background and trimmed it down.  This sentiment was adhered to the bottom of the stenciled panel with some foam tape, and then I added some gorgeous Rainbow Pearl Fern Card Bling all over the panel.

Good morning!  I know it's not even Christmas yet, and I'm already thinking about Valentine cards!  LOL  I was playing with the Cute Love stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, so why not make a cute Valentine card??

I placed the Cute Love stencil over some Honeysuckle cardstock (C9) and spread some glittery white paste (Arctic Fox Luxe from Picket Fence Studios) over the panel.  After the paste dried, I added the stamped and die cut sentiment (Hero Arts) and adhered this panel to a scalloped white layer before adding them to a Honeysuckle card base.  Such a quick and easy card!

Good morning!  I'm playing with some older stencils from A Colorful Life Designs this month, and I used the Flamboyant Flourishes stencil on my card today.  This gorgeous stencil was placed over some white cardstock and then I brushed some soft orange ink over the whole panel.  After I die cut this stenciled panel with a Pinkfresh Studio die, I brushed some Antique Linen distress ink along the edges.  This panel was then sprayed with some Antique Linen Distress Spritz for a glittery sparkle.

While the stenciled panel was drying, I stamped and die cut the sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio.  I also found some orange and beige flowers and some leaves in my stash.  I sprayed the Antique Linen Distress Spritz over the orange flowers and set them aside to dry.  Meanwhile, I glued the stenciled panel onto a brown card and adhered the sentiment and I added a teeny bit more spray to the card.  When the flowers were completely dry, I glued those onto the lower left corner of the stenciled panel.  This card is so sparkly!

Good morning!  I'm playing with some older stencils from A Colorful Life Designs this month, and I used the gorgeous Spring Ring stencil and the Dream Words stencil for today's card.  I placed the Spring Ring stencil onto some white cardstock and sponged some blue and purple inks all over the panel.  I carefully lifted the stencil off and the sprayed the panel with some glittery blue Distress Spritz.  While this piece was drying, I placed the Dream Words stencil over some white cardstock and brushed some purple ink over the "DREAM" sentiment.  After I glued the sentiment to my stenciled panel, I added a die cut frame with some foam tape and glued this down to a purple card base.  Some purple enamel dots on the stenciled panel are the finishing touch for this card.

Good morning!  I was playing around with some older stencils from A Colorful Life Designs and I wanted to see if I could pair the Cute Love stencil with the new Christmas Postmark stencil.  I brushed some blue ink over the Cute Love (hearts) stencil onto some blue cardstock, and then I brushed some red ink over the Christmas Postmark stencil at the top of my heart panel.  After I splattered the panel with some white acrylic ink, I affixed a red die cut heart over the Christmas sentiment and added a die cut sentiment onto the heart.  This panel was then glued to a postage die cut and then to a blue card.  For a fun little snowy touch, I added some Whiteout Mix Card Bling to the card.

Good morning!  I'm back to share another Christmas card with you today.  I had so much fun creating this one.

I started by placing the Marvelous Masks Postage Stamp 5" stencil over some white cardstock.  I lightly brushed some pale blue ink all around the edges of this stencil.  I kept this Postage Stamp stencil taped in place and put the Crossed Candy Canes stencil over that and brushed light blue ink over the left candy cane and light green ink over the right candy cane.  I removed the Crossed Candy Canes stencil, but the Postage Stamp stencil was still left taped to the white cardstock.  

I put the Christmas Postmark stencil at the top of the panel and brushed a darker green ink over and then removed this stencil.  I pulled out the Snowflake Grid stencil and taped off the area around one of the cute little snowflakes.  I placed that down on the panel and brushed light blue and light green inks over the one single snowflake in different areas all over the panel.

With all the stenciling done, I removed all the stencils.  I stamped the 25 cents (Concord & 9th) in the bottom left corner of the panel with a dark green ink and then adhered this panel to a dark green card.  I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) with dark green ink, trimmed it down, and adhered it to the stenciled panel with foam tape.  Lastly, I added some Satin Matte Pale Ocean Blue Green Card Bling to the card.

Good morning!  I love creating Christmas cards, and it's really easy to make a bunch of them all at once with stencils from A Colorful Life Designs.  I wanted to see how this Layered Poinsettia would look stenciled on pale pink cardstock.  I brushed a slightly darker pink ink over the flower and then a dark green ink over the leaves.  Instead of stenciling the dots in the center of the flower, I added some Satin Matte Emerald Green Card Bling.  After I stamped the sentiment (Waffle Flower) with dark green ink, I adhered this pink panel to a dark green card base.  It's a different look and I like it.
