This one wound up at 52" x 52" and is in the shop (because, let's face it, I'm nearly drowning in my quilting at this point - don't tell the husband, ha).

Latitude
I got a half a day of "my life" back today. My kids are ALL in school on Fridays as of two weeks ago. But some of these I am a parent chaperone for field trips so they don't count. In fact, I consider it "negative" time because even when it's over you are still exhausted. And if we balance the equation it means even less gets done. But I thought my down time could be used up this morning sharing a quilt I finished a while ago. I don't even know when - probably a few months but if it's been longer, please don't mention it, haha. The fabric strips of Latitude were sent to me by the fabulous Kate Spain. And gosh they are luscious.

Comma Yellow and Grey
Well, the children sleep on so I'll keep typing.
You never know exactly when that will happen again.
If ever...
So those other colors I pulled out of the fat quarter stack I bought at Quilt Festival ages ago were earmarked for this project.
Seriously fast and easy fat quarter quilt.
I'd tell you when I'll have the pattern ready, but I'd just make myself a liar I'm sure.
In the shop.
Have you noticed my boxes?
Garlic, Onions, and Potatoes?
I was all twitterpated with them at the antique shop we went to the other night.
My husband asked me, "What are the junkie little boxes for?"
Haha. Men.

Arcadia... Is this my 5th?
Let's see...
There was this one.
And this one.
Oh, and that one too.
Yes, and another over there.
Even some coasters.
I've loved this fabric line for a LONG time.
Fabric line is Arcadia by Sanae for Moda.
I've been hoarding some quarter yard cuts and additional yardage.
LOVE the backing print.
And especially those nested circles.
This one ended up being a large baby or small lap quilt size at 42.5" x 47".
In the shop.
Birds and Berries Part 2
I almost forgot to post this one.
It's going under the tree for my little who for Christmas.
I think it will be a great little throw blanket for her future bedroom.
We move Dec. 22 - yeah, just in time to make Christmas MORE crazy.
The fabric is Birds and Berries by Lauren and Jessi Jung for Moda.
I did exclude the purple colorway from the rest of the line.
Oh I'm getting more excited for Christmas just looking at this!!! :D

Oh boy! I've got Joy!
"I do. I do.
It starts in my heart and spreads to my head in a minute or two... "
I don't know how many of you will get the reference.
I was in "Joy School" as a little kid.
It was a home school type preschool program and that was the theme song.
I can still sing the entire thing.
Good brainwashing.
Still, I've been singing it to myself the whole time I've been working on this quilt. o_O
The fabric line is "Joy" by Kate Spain for Moda.
Zigzag binding.
Oh, love.
Christmas trees on white for backing.
Anyone else like the back of the quilt to hide the quilting?
Am I odd?
In regards to this.
Obviously I'm "odd" in other ways.
Have you seen all the granny squares in blogland these days?
And the great granny quilt-a-long?
I'm thinking of joining.
These blocks are sooooooo fun to make.
In the shop.

Have you seen these?
I stumbled across them while searching for snowflake quilts making sure the name wasn't already taken.
Amazing, huh?
Now available here.
Sooo sleepy. Must sleep. Now. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Cape Ann
This quilt was actually a long time in the making.
I really enjoyed sewing with all the tiny sweet prints in Cape Ann.
It's classic Oliver and S adorableness.
Little outfits, perfect dots, stripes, etc.
They have some super cute clothing patterns that are in the fabric that may eventually need to be created separately by me. : )
I'm actually disappointed that my LQS doesn't carry them.
I'm very impulsive when it comes to sewing clothes for the little people.
Planning and ordering can be so painful.
I lose my motivation and excitement waiting for things in the mail sometimes.
It measures 47" x 51" and is in the shop.

Flora
I finally made something for my Etsy shop! YAY!
I can't explain how happy I am, but I'm sure any quilter out there with small children (or other large distractions) understands!!
I've been playing with Flora by Lauren and Jessi Jung for Moda.
Fabric I bought at quilt festival a little while ago.
It's been quite the pick me up from the dismal weather that is winter.
OK, enough pictures.
I can't stop clicking sometimes.
Eh, I blame it on the camera.
Back to those whining kids...
"How dare you stop in to share a quilt?
We NEEEEEEED apple juice!!!!!!!"
Oh, what has become of my life?
My life?
Oh, who am I kidding?
:)

Some beautiful Terrain
This fabric line - Terrain by Kate Spain for Moda- was instant love.
I could gush about the colors for days.
I mean, look at that orange.
I'm not sure I've ever met an orange I didn't like.
And with the perfect purples, pinks, and teals...
A recipe for quilting happiness for sure.
You should try to get this joyous fabric while you can!
I hear it's going fast.
A while back I got this lovely from a wonderfully nice man and then bought some more to make this very pokey zigzag quilt:
It's in the shop.

Hometown 2 (my titles are so creative)
Pictures as promised, a lap quilt in Hometown by Sweetwater for Moda.
I went for the off centered square in a square in a square block and enjoyed reading each and every "hometown" on those awesome fabrics.
I found soooo many I had been to, a few that I would like to go to, and some that I had no idea where they were.
I've never had to read and quilt at the same time before.
Oh, and Houston was on there TWICE. :)
Available in the shop.

Along the Path in Central Park
I made this last week but literally ran out the door to Dallas for the weekend on Friday before I got this posted.
I'm just glad to have made it home with all the wildfires and highway closures.
Let's just say the return trip was nuts.
Another in Central Park by Kate Spain for Moda.
I love the purple tones she chooses - just wait til I tell you what happened last week...

Sugar Pop!
Looking for the Giveaway Day post? Click HERE.
Just wanted to share this custom quilt I recently finished.
It's the Loaded Sandwich Pattern in Sugar Pop by Liz Scott for Moda (customer's fabric choice).
I ended up liking it though I'm always afraid of purple until it's finished in the quilt.
Don't ask why, I don't know.
I used to think I didn't even like it.
Wierd, huh? How can you not like a color?
And there's ALWAYS leftovers...
So I made this little coin quilt 35" x 40".
This one's in the shop.
I like the funky factor in these fabrics.
I've got a LOT of projects "on deck" right now so hopefully I'll find the time to finish them soon.
