Present Simple and Present Continuous Rules -s and -ing
Present Simple Affirmative Sentences: Rules to add -ing: ando / endo
Spelling Rules for the –s at the end of the verb in
the third singular person (he, she, it) 1. General rule: add -ing: working, watch, walk, see,
agreeing, open, listen, order, happen, enjoy,
playing
General Rule: add –s to the verb: work = 2. Verbs ending in silent e, drop/delete that e and
