El Cuento Loco.

Obra de teatro bilingüe.

Un Cuento Loco es una historia clásica a la vez que peculiar, en la que

suceden muchas cosas conocidas, divertidas y otras sorprendentes.

En esta adaptación de la historia original, hemos querido transmitir

los valores de la igualdad e incidir en la importancia del bilingüismo, algo
que para los niños es habitual, ya que forma parte del día a día en el
colegio. Además, es un homenaje a todos aquello que contaron, cuentan y
contarán cuentos porque ellos hacen que pervivan sus personajes y su
mundo mágico y fantástico.

NARRATOR: Hello my friends! ¿How are you? I am very glad to be here. I

am a Story Teller. Do you know what a story teller is? Very good! A person
who tells stories. Today I am here to tell you the story of Little Red Riding
Hood. Well... Once upon a time there was a little girl who...

NARRADOR: ¡Hola amigos! ¿Cómo estáis? Yo estoy muy contento de estar

aquí. Soy un cuenta cuentos. ¿Sabéis qué es un cuentacuentos? ¡Muy
bien! Una persona que cuenta cuentos. Hoy estoy aquí para contaros la
historia de Caperucita Roja. Bien... Había una vez una pequeña niña que...

SNOW WHITE: (Aparece corriendo) Help! Help! … Please, somebody help

me!

BLANCANIEVES: ¡Socorro! ¡Socorro! ... ¡Por favor!

¡Que alguien me ayude!

NARRATOR: But, what´s this? Who are you?

NARRADOR: Pero ¿esto qué es? ¿Quién eres tú?

SNOW WHITE: I am Snow White, of course.

BLANCANIEVES: Soy Blancanieves, claro.

PISTA 2. MÚSICA DE BLANCANIEVES EN INGLÉS.

NARRATOR: Whaaaaaaaaat? This is crazy!

NARRADOR: ¿Quéééééééé? ¡Esto es de locos!

SNOW WHITE: I Know. My stepmother is after me. She wants to get rid of

BLANCANIEVES: Lo sé. Mi madrasta me persigue. Quiere deshacerse de

mí. Entonces yo...

NARRATOR: Wait, little girl. I am the narrator and I am telling the story of
Little Red Riding Hood. I have the impression that you have come to the
wrong story. Anyway, go in there so you can escape from your
stepmother.

NARRADOR: Espera pequeña. Yo soy el narrador y estoy contando la

historia de Caperucita Roja. Tengo la impresión de que has llegado al
cuento equivocado. De todos modos, métete adentro así puedes escapar
de tu madrasta.

SNOW WHITE: Oh thank you! Thanks a lot, really! (Imita el ruido de

golpear una puerta).

BLANCANIEVES: Oh ¡gracias¡ ¡Muchas gracias, en serio!

A LITTE PIG: Who's outside making all that noise? (En off).

UN CERDITO: ¿Quién está afuera haciendo semejante ruido?

SNOW WHITE: It´s me, Snow White. Please save me, dwarfs. My
stepmother is after me. But, you are not dwarfs. Who are you?

BLANCANIEVES: Soy yo, Blancanieves. Por favor salvadme, enanitos.

Mi madrasta me persigue. Pero vosotros no sois los enanitos.

¿Quiénes sois?

A LITTE PIG: (Aparece detrás del guiñol) My goodness! We are the Three
Little Pigs. We are hiding from the wolf. Come in, hurry up! Don`t worry,
we will protect you from your stepmother (Blancanieves se esconde tras
del guiñol).

UN CERDITO: ¡Dios mío! Somos los Tres Cerditos.

 Estamos escondiéndonos del lobo feroz. ¡Ven, date prisa!

No te preocupes, te protegeremos de tu madrasta.

PISTA 3. MÚSICA DE LOS TRES CERDITOS EN INGLÉS.

NARRATOR: Time Out! Time out! What´s going on? It´s over. Stop. Stop
the music. Thanks. You! (Al cerdito). Shut up and go! Thank you. And all of
you! (Enfadado, al público). Sorry (cambia a triste). I only wanted to tell
you the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but…

NARRADOR: ¡Tiempo muerto! ¡Tiempo muerto! ¿Qué pasa aquí? Se

acabó. Parad. Parad la música. ¡Tú! ¡Calla y vete! Gracias. ¡Y a todos
vosotros! Lo siento. Yo sólo quería contaros la historia de Caperucita Roja,
pero…

RIDING HOOD: (De pronto aparece Caperucita Roja.) Tra-la-la... tra-la-la...

CAPERUCITA: Tra-la-la... tra-la-la...

PISTA 4. MÚSICA DE CAPERUCITA EN INGLÉS.

NARRATOR: Noo! Noo! I give up! (Se hunde. De repente oye la música).
Altough... Stop the music! (Para la música). Let me see… (Da vueltas
alrededor de Caperucita). You are little… This is red… A riding hood… You
are…

NARRADOR: ¡Noo! ¡Noo! ¡Me rindo! Aunque… Que pare la música.

Déjame ver… Eres pequeña… Esto es rojo… Una caperuza… Tú eres…

RIDING HOOD: Little Red Riding Hood.

CAPERUCITA: Caperucita Roja.

 PISTA 5. MÚSICA DE CAPERUCITA EN INGLÉS.

Ambos la bailan.

NARRATOR: Thanks god. Where are you going?

NARRADOR: Gracias a Dios. ¿Dónde vas?

RIDING HOOD: I am going to to my Granny's house…

CAPERUCITA: Voy a la casa de mi abuelita…

NARRATOR: That´s perfect. But wait a moment. Now it´s not your time to
appear on scene. Go back there and wait for your turn. (Caperucita Roja
se esconde). Kids, the show is going on. Mmm, where was I? Oh yes, Little
Red Riding Hood was...

NARRADOR: Eso es perfecto. Pero espera un momento. Ahora no es tu

turno para aparecer en escena. Vuelve allí y espera tu turno. Niños, el
espectáculo va a continuar. Mmm ¿por dónde iba? Ah sí... Caperucita Roja
era...

WOLF: (Aparece por el guiñol) Auuuuuuu! Auuuuu!

LOBO: ¡Auuuuuuu! ¡Auuuuuuu!

PISTA 6. MÚSICA DE JAMES BOND.

NARRATOR: Who are you?

NARRADOR: ¿Quién eres tú?

WOLF: My name is Wolf, Fierce Wolf.

LOBO: Mi nombre es Feroz, Lobo Feroz.

NARRATOR: Another one! It´s not your turn. Aaaaaagh! First of all i talk
for a while, then Little Red Riding Hood appears, after that you…

NARRADOR: ¡Otro que tal! No es tu turno. ¡Aaaaaaagh! Primero de todo

yo hablo un poco, entonces sale Caperucita, después tu…

WOLF: Little Red Riding Hood? No, no and no. I´m coming here for the
three little pigs. You know… Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your
house in.

LOBO: ¿Caperucita roja? No, no y no. Yo vengo a por los tres cerditos. Ya
sabe. Soplaré y soplaré y tu casa derribaré.

NARRATOR: I though so. If I tell you where they are, will you please come
back later for the sake of this story?

NARRATOR: Ya decía yo. Si te cuento dónde están, volverás después por

favor por el bien de este cuento?

WOLF: I promise it.

LOBO: Lo prometo.

NARRATOR: That way (El lobo se va).

NARRADOR: Por allí.

PISTA 7. MÚSICA DE GRETEL.

GRETEL: My brother! The witch! (entra corriendo).

GRETEL: ¡Mi hermano! ¡La bruja!.

NARRATOR: Bye bye! (Hace como que se va).

NARRADOR: ¡Adiós!

GRETEL: One moment please! (Agarra al narrador) Have you seen my
brother?

GRETEL: ¡Un momento por favor! ¿Ha visto usted a mi hermano?

NARRATOR: Your brother? Who is your… Silence! If you are a girl… And
you are looking for you brother… A sister and a brother in a story… What
do you think? (Al público). Exactly! Hansel and Gretel!

NARRADOR: ¿Tu hermano? Quién es tu… Silencio! Si tú eres una chica… Y

estás buscando a tu hermano… Una hermana y un hermana en un
cuento… ¿Qué decís vosotros? ¡Exacto! ¡Hansel y Gretel!

PISTA 8. MÚSICA DE PRÍNCIPE ENCANTADOR.

Aparece en escena.

NARRATOR: So you are Hansel!

NARRADOR: ¡Así que tú eres Gretel!

PRINCE: I am the Charming Prince, of course.

ENCANTADOR: Yo soy el Príncipe Encantador, por supuesto.

NARRATOR: Yeeeeeees! ¡Yeeeeeeees! ¡Ja, ja, ja! (Se vuelve loco por
momentos). First of all Snow White, after the three pigs, then riding hood
and the wolf, Gretel, Charming Prince… And I am a minion (se va,
haciendo el tonto).

NARRADOR: ¡Sííííííííííí! ¡Síííííííííííí! ¡Ja, ja, ja! Primero de todo Blancanieves,

después los tres cerditos, luego Blancanieves y el lobo, Gretel, el Príncipe
Encantador…

GRETEL: So, you are a real prince?

GRETEL: ¿Así que tú eres un príncipe de verdad?

 PISTA 9. MÚSICA DE MINION.

PRINCE: Of course, my lady.

ENCANTADOR: Por supuesto, señorita.

GRETEL: You are so…

GRETEL: Eres tan…

PRINCE: Charming?

PRÍNCIPE: ¿Encantador?

GRETEL: Yes… (Encantada).

GRETEL: Síííí…

PRINCE: Do you want to try on the shoe? (Saca el zapato).

PRINCE: ¿Quieres probarte el zapato?

GRETEL: YES…. (Enamorada. Saca el pie, hace como que va a probárselo y

el príncipe se aparta).

GRETEL: SÍÍÍÍÍ…

PRINCE: No, no, no. Not yet. I need something before. You are Gretel, fron
Hansel and Gretel, aren´t you?

ENCANTADOR: No, no, no. Todavía no. Antes necesito algo. Tú eres
Gretel, de Hansel y Gretel, ¿no?

GRETEL: Yes (extrañada).

GRETEL: Sí.

PRINCE: So you know the way for going to the chocolate´s house…

ENCANTADOR: Así que tú sabes el camino para ir a la casita de chocolate…

GRETEL: Yes, but the witch…

GRETEL: Sí, pero la bruja…

PRINCE: Remember of the shoe…

ENCANTADOR: Recuerda lo del zapato...

GRETEL: Yes? (Indecisa).

GRETEL ¿Sí?

PRINCE: You have to go to the chocolat house and get a chocolate cake.
Go! (Empuja a Gretel). And ask the witch for candles!

PRINCE: Tienes que ir a la casa de chocolate y conseguir una tarta de

chocolate. ¡Venga! ¡Y pídele velas a la bruja!

GRETEL: Candles?

GRETEL: ¿Velas?

PRINCE: Yes, candels. For the birthday! (hace un gesto de complicidad y

como que sopla las velas de cumpleaños. Gretel se va). Ok (al público).
Hello everyone. Let me explain something. Today is the storyteller´s
birthday. And for this reason, the storybook´s characters, Snowhite, the
Pigs, Riding Hood, the Wolf, and many more, we all want to give him a
surprise party. And you have to help us. Do you understand? Don´t worry.
It´s going to be easy. All you need to do is sing with us the birthday´s
song. Ok?

ENCANTADOR: Sí, velas. ¡Para el cumpleaños! Ok. Hola a todos. Dejadme

que os explique algo. Hoy es el cumpleaños del cuentacuentos. Y por esta
razón los personajes de los libros de cuentos, Blancanieves, los Cerditos,
Caperucita, el Lobo y muchos más, todos nosotros queremos darle una
fiesta sorpresa. Y vosotros tenéis que ayudarnos. ¿Lo entendéis? No os
preocupéis. Será fácil. Todo lo que tenéis que hacer es cantar con nosotros
la canción de cumpleaños. ¿De acuerdo?

 PISTA 10. MÚSICA DE MINION AGAIN.

PRINCE: Shhhhh! I think he´s coming (entra el cuentacuentos llorando).

ENCANTADOR: ¡Shhhhh! Creo que está llegando.

NARRATOR: Ayayayayay! I´m so sorry! This is the end of my career. No

more stories, no more plays, no more and they lived happily ever after.

NARRADOR: Ayayayayay! ¡Lo siento mucho! Este es el final de mi carrera.

No más cuentos, no más obras de teatro, no más y vivieron felices para
siempre.

Entra Gretel con una tarta de cumpleaños, se cierran las luces y todos
cantan el HAPPY BIRTHDAY. El Cuentacuentos se emociona y sopla las
velas. Aplauso.

PRINCE: Congratulations, my friend.

ENCANTADOR: Felicidades amigo mío.

NARRATOR: Wow! You know today is my birthday…

NARRADOR: ¡Guau! Sabes que hoy es mi cumpleaños.

PRINCE: We know everything about you. You are our storyteller. Without
you, we are nothing.

ENCANTADOR: Lo sabemos todo sobre tí. Tú eres nuestro cuentacuentos.

Sin ti, no somos nada.

NARRATOR: But Snowwhite, the little pigs, Riding Hood…

NARRADOR: Pero Blancanieves, los Cerditos, Caperucita…

PRINCE: It has been a joke. We wanted to give you a party. We want to

thank you for all these years of storytelling. And that is the reason i´m
going to ask for everyone in this room to give the biggest applause to our
storyteller.

 ENCANTADOR: Ha sido una broma. Queríamos darte una sorpresa.
Queremos agradecerte todos estos años de contar cuentos. Y esa es la
razón por la que voy a pedir a todo el mundo en esta sala el más fuerte de
los aplausos para nuestro Cuentacuentos.

APPLAUSE

PRINCE: And now i have to go back to my story. I´m afraid that Cinderrella
have to ve very worried about her shoe. Don´t want to see her mood
when she gets angry. Good bye! (Hace como que se va pero Gretel le
engancha)

ENCANTADOR: Y ahora tengo que volver a mi cuento. Me temo que

Cenicienta tiene que estar muy preocupada por su zapato. No queráis ver
su humor cuando se enfada. ¡Adiós!

GRETEL: Not so fast, dear Prince. We have make a deal. I have brought the
cake, risking my life because of the witch. So now... You have to dance
with me. Please… (Al cuentacuentos, que se apresura a poner la música y
todos bailan).

GRETEL: No tan rápido, querido príncipe. Hemos hecho un trato. Yo he

traído la tarta arriesgando mi vida con la bruja. Así que ahora… Tú tienes
que bailar conmigo. Por favor…

PISTA 11. MÚSICA DE PRÍNCIPE ENCANTADOR AGAIN.

PRINCE: Thank you, thank you. Good bye. (Mientras se van) It has been so
nice…

ENCANTADOR: Gracias, gracias. Adiós. Ha sido tan bonito…

GRETEL: So charming… (Se van).

GRETEL: Tan encantador…

NARRATOR: Well, it seems like this is the end of story. It has not been Red
Little Rinding Hood, but it has been funny. A Crazy Story. Thanks all of you
and now as usually I have to say… And they lived happily ever after.

NARRADOR: Bien, parece que este es el final del cuento. No ha sido

Caperucita Roja exactamente, pero ha estado divertido. Un Cuento Loco.
Gracias a todos y ahora como suele suceder tengo que decir… Y vivieron
felices para siempre.
