- Keep. Hair length and the recognition that comes with it are not events but continuing conditions. The article is referenced. --Eastmain (talk) 18:53, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment I would say that the condition of this woman's hair being the longest known at this time is an ongoing event. It is subject to ending at any time if someone else is shown to have longer hair. I think this person falls within the intent of WP:BLP1E. -- Donald Albury 18:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so that consensus may be reached.

- Keep. The nominator's rationale is invalid. WP:BLP1E is about people who are caught up in a single news event, not about people who are only notable in one way. If we were to interpret it that way, as the nominator seems to be doing, then we would have very few articles about any people at all. Phil Bridger (talk) 19:02, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Phil Bridger, and also because someone in the Guinneas Book of Records is definitely notable. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 18:53, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
