The article has been unsourced since 2013, though I'm sure routine coverage can be found to verify the list of performers (if nothing else). I'm not sure what the encyclopedic value/precedent is for determining whether list articles such as this one should exist. Worth noting: the Germania Insurance Amphitheater does not currently have its own page. It has a one-paragraph blurb on the Circuit of the Americas page. - To me, the list is a good historical record. Maybe it needs an "Unreferenced" tag on the article instead of being deleted and see if the article improves over time. Perhaps someone wants to have a go at creating an article on the Germania Insurance Amphitheater and incorporate the list into the article. Nv8200pa talk 00:34, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- I agree a better approach is creating an article about the amphitheater and incorporating the list there (or renaming the list article and expanding it). I found some sources such as this Billboard article (page 8, Amp It Up) and along with the sources in Circuit of the Americas, it also won a couple awards. (Note it's changed names a few times:Tower>Austin360>Germania Insurance). S0091 (talk) 17:43, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- I wonder if the collapsed table at Joe Louis Arena#Other tenants and events could serve as a precedent/example? (Though that one is incomplete given that it stops in 2006 and Joe Louis closed in 2017...)Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 21:07, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- Something else to consider is @Rodrigo1198 has submitted Draft:List of Germania Insurance Super Stage performers which I do not think meets the notability criteria for a standalone list so if this AfD ends up a merge then that list will likely be a merge as well, thus perhaps two collapsed lists in the main article. Also collapse does not work for mobile devices. All of this may be fine but want to make sure folks are aware. S0091 (talk) 21:36, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- How about a combination of List of Germania Insurance Amphitheater and Super Stage Performers since it is technically in the same location. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 21:39, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- I created Germania Insurance Amphitheater and merge both List of Germania Insurance Super Stage performers and List of Germania Insurance Amphitheater performers. I added the Super Stage to the article because it involves the Amphitheater as the Super Stage is used when capacity of the Germania Insurance Amphitheater is exceed. - Delete per WP:NLIST. This isn't exactly Carnegie Hall, and even that doesn't get a list of performers there (though it does have World premieres at Carnegie Hall). Clarityfiend (talk) 09:22, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- Since it is a world-class facility, it has one. As of now, it is one of the iconic racetracks in the United States. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 13:29, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- The purpose is to give you insight of who has performed is like the races that have held there. They have their own wiki article. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 13:32, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- Also it is a Formula 1 Venue and many people around the world come to COTA for the race. It has the distinction that has the United States Grand Prix one of the prestigious title names of motorsports. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 13:39, 14 December 2023 (UTC)

- Delete per WP:NLIST. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 23:53, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect given @Rodrigo1198: has created Germania Insurance Amphitheater and moved the list there, a redirect to the new article will maintain the history, though I am not opposed to deleting. Also pinging @Significa liberdade: and @Clarityfiend: to get their thoughts. S0091 (talk) 18:14, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- This works for me. :) Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 18:27, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- Doesn't work for me. The list is excessive wherever it's placed. Much more famous music venues do not go into so much detail, e.g. Grand Ole Opry, Radio City Music Hall, Hollywood Bowl. The last one — by far the most detailed of the three — lists a few notable acts per decade, whereas this list averages maybe a dozen a year. Wikipedia is not a directory. Clarityfiend (talk) 00:00, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Then if it’s not a directory then List of El Clasico matches should be gone if that’s the logic. I think they should have a list of performers as well for those articles because there are people interested in knowing these facts. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 00:53, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Why are you comparing apples to oranges? Do the football clubs play each other a dozen times a year? Also, WP:ITSINTERESTING is not a good reason to keep this. Clarityfiend (talk) 01:35, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Then remove all lists of performers for every venue that has one then. Madison Square Garden and T-Mobile Arena has one and separate. Rodrigo1198 (talk) 01:40, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- List of entertainment events at Madison Square Garden has a sparse selection. I will nominate List of events at T-Mobile Arena. Clarityfiend (talk) 08:08, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
