Hello,
You have assessed the above article as C Class because of missing citations. I find every paragraph in the article has at least one cite; I cannot locate a need for an additional cite. Could you please place 'cite needed' in the article to mark where you believe additional citations are needed?Georgejdorner (talk) 05:37, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi George, it was actually because his exact date of birth, as presented in the infobox, isn't cited. If it can be sourced, could you mention his artillery unit ("his unit" is referred to at the end of the first section, but not what that unit was). Cheers, Zawed (talk) 08:04, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
- Month and date could not be determined from sources, so were deleted from info box, leaving birth year. I also added the unit designation. Do we now have a B Class article?Georgejdorner (talk) 00:20, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Looks good to me, have revised assessment rating. Zawed (talk) 08:48, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. The extra effort is appreciated.Georgejdorner (talk) 21:51, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Think you might like this. Took a bit of time. Will be nominating it at FPC soon enough. If you ever need any image help, just ask. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.8% of all FPs 07:03, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

- No worries! Honestly, always like helping out at MILHIST, and, y'know, a featured article certainly deserves a good image. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.8% of all FPs 22:58, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- Right! Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Haane Manahi! Hopefully it goes well there. Delayed it a bit because there was a period of inactivity around a month ago where a bunch of my featured pictures failed from lack of quorum, so I've started waiting for previous images to pass before I nominate new ones. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.8% of all FPs 10:24, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
- Well, it's hit quorum with no opposes, and that's usually a sign it will pass without any further problems. Think Manahi'll get a second go at the main page now. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.8% of all FPs 02:30, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Missing cites in Arthur Umbers
The article cites "Sortehaug 1997" and "Rawlings 1974" but no such sources are listed in the bibliography. Can you please add? Or are these typos in years? Also, suggest installing a script to highlight such errors in the future. All you need to do is copy and paste importScript('User:Svick/HarvErrors.js'); // Backlink: [[User:Svick/HarvErrors.js]]
to your common.js page. Thanks, Renata•3 03:23, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

- It's in the 2015 edition of Kenneth Wynn's Men of the battle of Britain- [1]. I can't see a page number. Also see [2]... but I don't know what kind of source that is. He is sometimes spelled Brian. I'll see if I can take a photo of the plaque one day. best Whispyhistory (talk) 06:36, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

- Looking into this, I have found differing totals: 130, 167 and 370 (the latter seems quite high to me given the size of the RNZAF). I have added a footnote to the article providing these numbers. Zawed (talk) 09:20, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

Wikiproject Military history coordinator election voting opening soon!
Voting for the upcoming project coordinator election opens in a few hours (00:01 UTC on 15 September) and will last through 23:59 on 28 September. Correction to previous election announcement
Just a quick correction to the prior message about the 2022 MILHIST coordinator election! I (Hog Farm) didn't proofread the message well enough and left out a link to the election page itself in this message. The voting will occur here; sorry about the need for a second message and the inadvertent omission from the prior one. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:42, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

New subject
Zawed - You are correct in your assumption. I've learnt my lesson. That is why I've not done certain things. As you'll be able to tell its not exactly the same. I just don't want Ljleppan to know and I would like to keep this new account. As you probably can tell, I've not been changing whole wikiproect banners. For example, I am not changing WP:MILHIST from an old template to a newly updated template of WP:MILHIST. Could you help me in getting an unblock while keeping this account? I ask anyone who is reading this please allow me to come back because this is my enjoyment. As of last Friday, the family house of 87 years may go up for sale in a matter of one or two months. I ask not to get this account blocked or banned. I merely want some enjoyment in my life. What can I do to come back? MrScoobyAU (talk) 12:20, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- I want to be able to come back. I don't trust anyone on here except @Thewolfchild: has my respect and I'm hesitant with you. I guess I'll see what happens in the morning. Please don't block this account or ban. MrScoobyAU (talk) 12:40, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- @MrScoobyAU: "
What can I do to come back?
". First, you need to stop editing with this account immediately. Read the messages I've left for you on this account's talk page and on your original, blocked account talk page. Only edit using your original account, do not use this or any other account. If you ever want to "come back" and be able to edit again, you will need to be very patient and show that you can follow the rules. - wolf 13:59, 18 September 2022 (UTC)

On 13 December 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Howard Mayers, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Howard Mayers is credited with the destruction of at least eleven enemy aircraft during World War II? You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Howard Mayers), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
