  • curprev 16:5816:58, 12 February 2024Jinglyjangle talk contribs 52,509 bytes +82 Actually, I remembered that infoboxes are only supposed to have a maximum of four genres, and new wave is already there in the musical style section (plus it's wrong/heavily disputed). I've also added two more sources for new pop (with credited authors!) for good measure. We can both find more sources if we like, so let's not play that silly game. May the peace now hold. • curprev 16:3716:37, 12 February 2024Jinglyjangle talk contribs 52,427 bytes −26 Going to try this one more time (God help me). Applying due weight, two of the sources for new wave have no credited author, so it's Erlewine versus Rimmer. Like Punk Never Happened is literally 'the' book on Culture Club, so anyone with a working head would take his word over Erlewine's summary. I would remove new wave altogether, but I'll put it at the end after new pop (it's not true genres with more sources go first - see Yazoo for example). Pop is indisputable, so it works best first.
