The result was keep. Consensus is that problems in the article are fixable without deletion. Mark Arsten (talk) 21:06, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLP1E - nearly the entire article is devoted to a single interview she conducted, and almost all of that is criticism of her for having conducted the interview. I don't think it quite qualifies for speedy as an ATTACK page, but it certainly fails BLP1E. Nableezy 22:25, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Keep. Shahira Amin a very famous journalist in Egypt and most of the Arab world. The article is poorly written, unfortunately, focusing only on that one event as indicated above, but I can find plenty of Arabic sources to write a better article. I'll add it to my to-do list and get to it some time next week, possibly, if it is kept. ~dee(talk?) 20:14, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - attack issue can be flagged at WT:BLP subpage, rather than AfD. In ictu oculi (talk) 05:42, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - the amount of sources shows that the interview with Gilad Shalit, at least, is highly notable. BLP1E usually discourages us from having an article on people known only for one event, but I don't think that's the case here; there seems to me to be enough coverage of her apart from the Shalit interview (for example, in relation to her resignation) to justify an article. This one does, however, have NPOV issues which need to be dealt with. Robofish (talk) 14:11, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
