Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Unexplained, erroneous deletions at Urdu
editHello, I'm Dhtwiki. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Urdu without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. editPlease do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Murray College, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 04:50, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Kendall-K1 (talk) 05:57, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm confused by this edit to Wilmette, Illinois. First, what was you source for the data? Also, the parameters you added don't seem to be supported by the infobox, as nothing showed up on the article. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 01:10, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Imran Khan, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:58, 3 January 2019 (UTC) (please mention me on reply; thanks!)

editHello, I'm Mr Xaero. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Illinois without adequately explaining why. There is an open discussion regarding the types of cases. I suggest that you read that discussion and engage in it also prior to removing information from the article. Mr Xaero ☎️ 16:53, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Hey Mr Xaero, in regards to 2020_coronavirus_pandemic_in_Illinois, I am removing the "active cases" and "recovered" because state of Illinois is not updating those numbers. If you check our the IL Health Dept web site, they are only siting 3 numbers: "Total Cases, Deaths and Number of Tests Done". Hope you understand that. And the 2 recovered cases is from February 2 and not accurate anymore, if you click on the link. Again Illinois is not releasing those figures anymore. User:THEunique
- @THEunique: I am aware that the State of Illinois Department of Public Health is no longer publishing the number of recovered cases on the official page. However they still have two cases being recovered which I have clearly referenced in the article. This reference is from IDPH itself and is on other news sites. As for being relevant because it is not longer accurate, I beg to differ. When two cases of recovery exist they still exist and don't just vanish. They are still accurate based on the information provided by public officials. Since the public officials are no longer updating this number, we still know that there are two confirmed recoveries even though science tells us that there are more recoveries. Do not white wash the article as you have been. — Mr Xaero ☎️ 16:51, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited COVID-19 pandemic in Texas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page COVID-19 pandemic in New York. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Georgia and Illinois stats
editThanks for updating the stats für Georgia. Would you mind to actualize the access date etc. of the website as well? Concerning Illinois: The website distinguishes between "confirmed" and "probable". Obviously "probable" is not included in "confirmed", therefore the numbers should be added. --Qumranhöhle (talk) 18:37, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
I may repeate myself, but confirmed does not include probable. Some states report totals, which includes probable cases. Illinois reports confirmed and probable, which are two distinct categories: a probable case cannot be a confirmed case. --Qumranhöhle (talk) 18:11, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with File:Flag of Arab Maghreb Union.jpeg
editThank you for uploading File:Flag of Arab Maghreb Union.jpeg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.
Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. — Ирука13 13:48, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
