editWhat is this? --WPaulB (talk) 01:05, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Poutine in 2008?
editUnder Canada, "in 2008, poutine was added". What? I remember eating Poutine at MCdonalds well before 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.81.2.38 (talk) 02:40, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Touchdown burger?
editI couldn't find any information about the touchdown burger any where else on the web besides wikipedia. Also I live in Southeast Michigan and have never heard of it. Does it exist? Justabeagle (talk) 07:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
... Germany?
editThere are so damn many McDonald's in Germany, but I guess names like BicMäc and McFisch were just slightly changed. Do we have no special varieties in Germany? -- Gohnarch░░░░ 15:49, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- We once had the GemüseMac, but no longer. I guess Apfelschorle could be German specific. Are we the only country where McDonald's serves beer? --91.15.64.213 (talk) 15:44, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- McDonalds also serves beer in Belgium. --84.245.33.210 (talk) 23:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- McDonald's served beer for years, but it's been at least a decade since I last saw a paper cup of beer in a (german) McDonald's.
- Wo hast du Bier im Mäckes gesehen? Seit ich Bier trinken darf hab ich's nicht mehr gesehen, daher... -- Gohnarch░░░░ 15:31, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- There is no beer in German McDonalds as long as i can think. In addition,we dont have the "Chicken Mythic","Chicken Curry" and the "McChicken with Shrimps" here any longer,so i removed them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.22.22.65 (talk) 20:37, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Belgium
editMcFeast has been on the menus at some point in time (I guess the early nineties). It was much similar to the Swedish version (with onions and mayonnaise). After they removed it from the menu, you could still have one served on special request for a couple of years. But I'm not sure if this is still the case Today. --84.245.33.210 (talk) 23:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

editThe image Image:McDonald's Corporate Logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. United States section
editI'd like to add the following -- After two years of testing in California, New York and Columbus, Ohio, McDonald's announced in April 2009, that it will be rolling out its one-third pound of meat Angus burger nationwide as part of the company's national "Monopoly" promotion in October. The burger will be its most expensive one at $4.
The source for this is the Chicago Tribune Website. Is this cool to add? Rosestiles (talk) 16:10, 30 April 2009 (UTC)rosestiles
- That is in the main page. --Jeremy (blah blah) 18:15, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Commercial failure
editThere's a lot of things listed like this: Ciabatta Grande - Commercial failure that was quickly pulled off the menu. (from Poland section). While it's nice that it was a commercial failure and quickly pulled off the menu, I still don't know what it is. I'd expand it if I had any clue what it was. ;) --Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû 22:14, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Changes to the Hong Kong menu
editThe Ebi Filet-o-shrimp burger from the Japanese menu is available in Hong Kong under the name 'Ebi Burger', as well as the Mega Ebi Burger which is a double patty version.
The double quarter pounder is available during the day by request. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.49.22.118 (talk) 18:26, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Poland
editThe article currently reads ". . . and a set of three small, fried banana-shaped dough bites filled with banana flavored filling and a caramel dipping sauce was associated with South Carolina. There is no similar food in South Carolina." I'm assuming the dessert may be a reference to Bananas Foster, a banana/caramel dessert originating in New Orleans and generally associated with the South (including South Carolina) in the United States. Propose possible edit? May require research. 131.156.235.8 (talk) 04:42, 6 May 2010 (UTC) Also the American dessert paragraph states that three desserts were available and mentions only two. More research. 131.156.235.8 (talk) 04:46, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Suriname
editFirst, why is Suriname in the Europe section? Agh. And more to this point, this section is mostly a rant about the beef content of McDonald's fries, which is not what belongs in this section or on this page.
131.156.235.8 (talk) 04:53, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Mexico
editUnder North America, it is missing a Mexico section. They have their own local dishes on the menu. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.192.17.90 (talk) 03:30, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Georgia
editGeorgia also has a McDnoald's, why isn't it listed here? 178.134.118.245 (talk) 04:53, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Russia?
editRussia seems to also be missing from the article... *confused* —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.179.218.11 (talk) 11:56, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Taiwan
editThe article reads that 'Portugal is the only country serving soup' which is incorrect. Taiwan has cream of corn soup served on its regular menu and it has also served McRice before. Tho I cannot find books stating this fact but I've had the soup and saw the McRice on the menu when I was there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.83.53.30 (talk) 13:08, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Bacon roll in UK
editCan anyone confirm that the Bacon roll was introduced in the UK in 2008? I'm pretty sure it was earlier than this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.96.218 (talk) 13:59, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- @86.2.96.218 I'm not trolling. I'm serious here. You people have got to be kidding that the article should go into SUCH excrutiating detail about what was available, whete and when. That stuff is absolutely unneed. 2604:3D09:8878:4500:A542:B19E:D61C:F7CC (talk) 15:34, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
Removed unreferenced text
editI have am impression that this page was largely growing to a big numbe of well-meaning drive-by editors, who eat something in McDonald's in Zamunda and happily report here the food they ate, without any references.
A proper text here must at least indicate when this food was available. Best of all, when it was introduced and when discontinued, as well as other usegul, referenced information.
Please do not restore the deleted text without providing references. Staszek Lem (talk) 03:50, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- @Staszek Lem OMG! It's bad enough that it already lists every single product worldwide!. Talk about overkill! The last thing it needs is all of that! Or were you being sarcastic. Now I think that you were. If so, big LOLs ! ! ! 2604:3D09:8878:4500:A542:B19E:D61C:F7CC (talk) 15:30, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
A revert war is unbecoming of an admin. I agree it is not crisis, however after a week I will delete all unreferenced again, and if you continue this revert war, I am afraid I will be forced to discuss your behavior. Staszek Lem (talk) 19:45, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
mccurrywurst
editthat item was discontinued alomst as soon as it was released, yet the article makes it sound likes it's still available. someone should fix that --92.193.87.92 (talk) 13:36, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Chance ref in Russian sec. from "special action" to WAR in Ukraine.
editThis must be changed immediately! To call it a special action is Putin's propaganda and EXTREME disinformation. I am greatly offended and so will millions of others world wide. Please change it NOW. 2604:3D09:8878:4500:A542:B19E:D61C:F7CC (talk) 15:23, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

Costa Rica.
editCurrently, in Costa Rica there is no Passion Fruit (Maracuyá) McShake. I could not find the exact date, but it seemed to dissapear well before the Coffee Shake. Additionaly, with the release of the Maracuya McShake, there was a Grape one (Mora). Is it appropiate to add the Grape one, or is it better to indicate they're discontinuated. - Do you have any reliable sources for this? Newpaper articles, etc.? Otherwise, unfortunately, it falls under original research. - Adolphus79 (talk) 02:58, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
Possible fake burger photo
editThe picture shown for the "McOzBurger" in the Australia/Oceania section doesn't actually display the McOzBurger. It appears to be an image of another burger taken at a restaurant other than McDonald's. 87.122.16.50 (talk) 00:46, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
