GOAT

@FastnloudCov:, I am assuming you mean Draft:GOAT Group and this which is in your sandbox. First, please read WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the appropriate disclosure if applicable. Once that is done, can you explain the difference between those and GOAT (platform) as it appears to be the same? CNMall41 Sorry for the delayed response. I read the guidelines on conflict of interest and having one I made the disclosure on my user page. If this isn’t sufficient please tell me what additional information is needed. I do not want to submit anything until that is correct. For GOAT, it originally started as a platform but after a merger it created a parent company with many brands. I do not believe the individual brands other than the platform are notable so I included them in the draft for the parent company. References do talk about the platform and group separately so they are two companies and not the same. Please guide me on the next steps. --FastnloudCov (talk) 21:14, 20 August 2024 (UTC)

@FastnloudCov:, I cleaned up the sandbox content to ensure everything matched the references. Looks like you moved a lot of information from that to the draft for the parent company. If I am online I will take a closer look at that tomorrow. You are free to submit the draft if you want someone to review it quicker. • LA Times article that discusses how GOAT got started. • Wall Street Journal article that talks about a funding round in 2021. It briefly lists the funding and then goes into detail about GOAT Group and its products and subsidiaries. • Vogue article talks about how the formation of GOAT Group would be used to expand into other markets. I believe the information may be in the Wall Street Journal reference but I can only access part of that article. Sorry it took so long to reply to you. Can you add a logo and do some minor changes? In the second paragraph of the “History” section, can we add the words “and apparel” after the wording “platform that allows users to list their own sneakers….” so that it reads “platform that allows users to list their own sneakers and apparel.” This is supported by the Wall Street Journal reference and Tech Crunch (https://techcrunch.com/2021/06/24/sneaker-marketplace-goat-hits-3-7-billion-valuation-in-series-f-raise/). The same for the section on “alias” which should also say it is a “sneaker and apparel” platform. For that same section, can it be changed to “It was launched in 2020 as an extension of GOAT’s seller” platform?” It is not part of GOAT as it is a separate entity but the wording makes it seem like it is. For the article on GOAT Group, can we remove the name “Chloe” under the partnerships?--FastnloudCov (talk) 21:33, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

You also need to be more clear on where the edits go. I believe you switched the names of the pages as I had to search to determine what you meant for each request. For the logo, it looks like one was added to the platform page. If you are referring to the group page, you will need to specific the logo location and make that request on the talk page. Azets

Hi everyone, I've created a new stub for the company Azets. I notice that smaller firms such as Campbell Dallas which are now part of Azets have their own page. As such, it seems sufficiently large to merit a page of its own. Draft:Ellucian

If any feels like taking it on, there is Draft:Ellucian that I just declined through AfC. Although, it is a new company formed between the merger of SunGard and Datatel, both of which have pages (although I tagged them both for adverts). I think there needs to be some merging but not sure which target should keep the name and which ones should be redirected. Don't have the mindset at the moment to unwind everything. AXS Pte Ltd

Could someone from this WikiProject take a look at AXS Pte Ltd and assess it per WP:NORG? The article was created by an account that just a little over a month old who has declared on their userpage that they're a marketing professional; so, this could be a case of yet-to-be disclosed paid editing. Since the article is already in the mainspace, it's probably OK if the company is clearly Wikipedia notable since any promotional content can be cleaned up; on the other hand, if the company's Wikipedia notability is questionable, it might be a good idea to WP:DRAFTIFY the article to give its creator some more time to work on it and then submit to WP:AFC for review. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:11, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Seatylock

Could someone from this WikiProject take a look at Seatylock and assess it per WP:NORG? It was directly created in the mainspace a few weeks ago by a relatively new account (about a month old) that basically was making lots of minor-type of edits to articles about politicians before suddenly switching to creating an article about a bike lock company. Lists of executives, directors and employees in company articles

Noticed that there has been some edit warring going on at Macquarie Group, specifically in relation to the leadership section. Is there is a specific policy section on this? From my observations normally only the Chair, CEO and any people who have their own article are mentioned in company articles.

There are some notable former people in Macquarie Group template that have linked articles, but does an article really benefit from listing every executive, every board member and every former ceo listed when they don't have a linked article? Tumusronad (talk) 12:55, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

USPS Employment section edit request

Hello editors, I'm here on this Talk page to court some feedback on an edit request I posted on the USPS Talk page. To be clear, I have a COI, which you can read about here: Talk page.

Specifically, this Employment edit request seeks to update the section by updating specific employee numbers that have become outdated in the first paragraph and proposing the removal of a sentence towards the end of the section.
