It is clear that this tag is unnecessary. And the history from corporation attacks in the talk page, must included in the main article, so future generations can read the conduitgate ;-). BoldLuis (talk) 13:35, 17 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I removed tag from June 2016. The tags added could be removed quickly if we agree article represent past product with well documented facts.--Gpeja (talk) 22:06, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

This article is written in the past tense, but as far as I'm aware conduit toolbars (under various names: Trovigo, http://www.seekforsearch.com/, https://www.better-search.net/) are still out there, so who is making them if this is an ex-product?
The "about" link at the bottom of http://search.conduit.com (still live) links to http://info.trovi.com/, which gives a company name and address. Evidently someone, somewhere (Israel?), owns, distributes and profits from the conduit software, so this article could do with an update (including a change to the present tense).
I'm leaving this comment because I'm not sure I have enough information to make the required changes (I have a feeling that ownership of such malicious but apparently profitable software is quite obfuscated), but I think it's an important issue to raise. --Tomatoswoop (talk) 17:59, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Tomatoswoop: I agree you raised an important issue and that page should stay. Not sure about past or present tense. Conduit name doesn't exist anymore. It is re-branded and we cannot know how much of new product is actually developed from the past Conduit toolbar. I think some of the earlier comments addressed that.Gpeja (talk) 23:55, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
