Hello, I'm Intforce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, National Museum of China, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You need to preview your edits. You couldn't have even looked at National World War I Museum either before or after you wrecked it, and you did other malformed edits here and here. Slow down. — Smuckola(talk) 20:12, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Hanzi in lead sentence
Thanks for your attention to the Qing emperors, but MOS:CHINESE#Introductory sentences says the Hanzi should be "either in the first sentence or in an info box." There is an info box on these pages, so no need for Hanzi in the lead sentence. Cheers in any case! ch (talk) 19:55, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Disappearance of Anthonette Cayedito, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I didn't revert you the second time, but I can't say I disagree with it--there was no closing punctuation, I think there was a line break in it, and there was something wrong with the reference or the reference name. Please read WP:FIES
Hello. I notice that you don't provide edit summaries to your edits. It's very helpful and useful to other editors if you do so, and WP:FIES explains why this is so. Please review that guideline. I invite you to consider adding edit summaries to your edits, which will also have the benefit of reducing the number of reversions to your edits, as other editors will be able to read and understand your edit rationales. Please use edit summaries
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 05:46, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Palace of Westminster does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Paris1127 (talk) 01:04, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Filmssssssssssss: Hello, I asked you back in December 2021 to please use edit summaries. You have continued to make countless contributions without an edit summary. Would you mind please, please, giving a brief explanation of your edits? It really isn't that difficult. Thank you. --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 01:57, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
Adding images properly
Please learn more about adding images and making edits. I've improved two of your edits now:
- At Copts, I added a "thumb" parameter to the "File" link, and changed the caption from "Coptic_diaspora_map" to "Coptic diaspora",[1] to improve your edit there.
- Similarly,[2] at Australians, with your edit there.
- You can see the difference between them, if you view Copts before and after, and Australians before and after
When you make an edit, you can use the "Show preview" function to see how your changes are going to look on the page. I don't normally deal with images in articles, so if you plan to do more of that, it would be more efficient overall if you checked your changes, and picked up some ideas on how to make sure the improvements are the best they can be. signed, Willondon (talk) 23:47, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I'm CactiStaccingCrane. I noticed that you recently removed content from SpaceX without adequately explaining why. Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. —Svārtava (t/u) • 03:58, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
Warning users
Hey, I've noticed you reverting some vandalism. One minor thing -- when you are warning users, instead of {{uw-vandalism1}}, you should subst the template, ie. {{subst:uw-vandalism1}}. There are tools that can semi-automate this process like Twinkle. Good job otherwise :) >>> Ingenuity.talk(); 16:27, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
Twinkle
Hi - I noticed what you were doing at Kentucky there - thank you for that. Just a tip - you might want to consider installing WP:Twinkle. It looks like you went to some considerable effort to remove all that nonsense; amongst other useful stuff, Tinkle would have allowed you to remove it all with a single mouse click. It's not a separate application or anything - it just adds a few buttons to the screen when you're reading/editing through your regular browser. Cheers Girth Summit (blether) 17:19, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
Signature in talk pages
Hello, good job with fighting vandalism. I noticed that you are not using a linked signature on your comments after the templates. To do it properly you can use the signature and timestamp button on the menu or you can add this code: --~~~~

Rollback
Thanks for your RC patrolling work. Just wanted to give you a heads up that this probably wasn't a good use of standard rollback. The IP editor removed text that was partially unsourced and partially incomprehensible, with an accurate edit summary. This was a content dispute, not vandalism, so standard rollback with no edit summary wasn't the right tool. agtx 13:12, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

Rollbacks on Tarski's axiomatization of the reals
Hello, I have no idea why my edits on Tarski's axiomatization of the reals are constantly being rolled back by you. The proof in the section Tarski's axiomatization of the reals#How these axioms imply a field before my edits claims that Tarski's axioms imply that "the real numbers are also Dedekind-complete, divisible, and Archimedean, but Tarski's original source never proved that the axioms form a total order, let alone a divisible group and Archimedean group. As a result, the proof needs to be elaborated to show that the real numbers are a divisible group and Archimedean group from Tarski's axioms, which is what I have done in my edits. As a result, I am going to revert the edits back to the state it was before the rollback. Thanks. 96.63.208.31 (talk) 17:14, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

AIV reports
Hello @Filmssssssssssss. I am @Archer1234. I observed your recent reports at WP:AIV and noticed a couple of things that you should be aware of. First, every new report should go at the bottom. You have been adding them to the top of the section (just underneath the comment that reads List begins BELOW this line
). Second, each report should include an asterisk * at the beginning as the pages lists all reports as a bulleted list. As a consequence of the way you have been doing it, when the bot detects that the account/IP you are reporting has been blocked it removes it, but it also removes all of the items below it as it thinks they are comments of your report. So, I'd appreciate it if you could adjust how you add future reports. Thank you. — Archer1234 (t·c) 14:36, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- As a regular admin at AIV, I don't care what order the reports are in because they shouldn't be there for very long. The asterisk is helpful though, so we don't confuse the bots! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:40, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi Filmssssssssssss. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:40, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

About your WP:AIV reports
Hello! Hope you are having a good day. I wanted to bring attention to your reports, specifically, you can see all the ones in this revision: [3]. For a specific edit, see [4]. Your reports are malformed. You are doing part of it correctly, but the ending curly braces need to be on the same line, otherwise the bot gets confused and doesn't delete the reports correctly.
On one line, we have *{{IP Vandal template part, and on the second line we have the }} for the end of the template. These need to be moved up so the correct report is *{{IPvandal template/Vandal template}} <reason here>. Also, just a reminder, to report IPs you would use the IPVandal template, and for regular users, you would use the Vandal template. I just wanted to give you a heads up, and in the future, it would probably be best if you used Twinkle or a different antivandalism tool to make the reports, so we don't have this issue again. Thanks for your time, and have a good day! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 20:51, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

AIV
Hi, there's no need to give all four warnings like a bot. For obvious bad faith (ie not just someone seeing if they really can edit) or repeated vandalism, you can start at level 2 or 3 or even 4im. I'll block if they've had enough of a hint that what they're doing is disruptive, so if they ignore a level 3 (for example) feel free to report them to AIV. But please not both. If you decide to give them another warning, don't report them to AIV unless they vandalise after that one, and if you decide to go straight to AIV, just skip the final warning. New page reviewer granted
Hi Filmssssssssssss. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. Why do you keep reverting a legitimate edit
I have repeatedly attempted to make the comments regarding the dating of Isa more netural POV. There is no decisive evidence for a date in the Babylonian exile. While some scholars refer to those chapters as "deutro-Isaiah" other, very reputable scholars, do not. While SOME scholars believe in a late date, other, very reputable scholars disagree. So stating that it IS dated from the Babylonian exile is not accurate, but rather that, in the view of some scholars, it dates from that time period. 173.71.213.235 (talk) 19:35, 24 March 2023 (UTC)

- Hi, thank you for reaching out. I saw that you had inserted the edit directly into the page, disrupting the structure of the article. If you go back to your version of the edit, you will see that the first thing readers will see is a random sentence in full uppercase inserted directly into the article with no context. If you must, please post this in the talk page for the site.

Nathan White
Hi, you removed content from Nathan White's wiki page. The content on the coaching was 100% accurate and truthful. The send paragraph waa also accurate, he has no background or education in the field. I do apologize, the second paragraph was sarcastic, in many respects, but I'm uncertain of your role: were you notified by Nathan white? How did, or why did you modify a wiki page without verifying content truthfulness? What is your role with Wikipedia, if any? If you could respond, I'd appreciate it. I do not believe, and I think the public perception is simply that Wikipedia is NOT meant to be a biased self promotion. Period. That is exactly what Mr White's page is, self built, self directed, self promotion. He should stick to his blog or use social eduard, not inhabit Wikipedia. Please advise, if you could. Respect,
Hi, Please see/refer to WP:NPOV. The edit you made seems to violate this policy. Also (This goes with all Wikipedia talkpages), leave your message at the bottom of the page. In this case, I have added a very large "Click here to leave me a note or start a topic". Please keep this in mind when editing other users' talkpages-𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔 (talk) 20:03, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- ok. I reviewed. Would it be better if one was to get confirmation or provide documentation to you, that illustrates the facts detailed? Ie. An email from the district detailing the abuse and specifics of the firing? That sort of thing.
- Thank you for the clarification. If you could detail how one can update on this subject, it would be appreciated- as example of what one would seek: can one note under an "education" headline, often found on wiki pages, that no journalism degree was obtained? Or is this- and the link was appreciated and helpful, thank you - only driven by what's in media? I ask because some of what this person has posted is really only known to him and not necessarily anyone else, nor published on web or media: these alleged small regional awards, the alleged volunteer posts, the alleged obscure elected positions...things of that nature are not necessarily tracked or accountable back to a media story. Can one remove those or report them to be removed? 159.2.160.132 (talk) 22:14, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- thank you, again...its appreciated, this info you've provided. May I ask: how can anything this Nathan white be confirmed? There are no citations, no evidence of his claimed or alleged accomplishments. Nothing, at all. I'm not trying to be smart, but a person could just come into here and fabricate a life or career. How is Nathan White's alleged career or listing of alleged accomplishments, verifiable or confirmed? 159.2.160.132 (talk) 22:23, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- I understand that you are not trying to be malicious. You need to cite the information and place the citation on the article. As you may know, this is important not only within Wikipedia but in most (if not all) of academia. Please refer to WP:CS for a guide to citing on the site.
- A rule of thumb is that if it is not cited anywhere, then you shouldn't put it in the article.

My recent contributions to wikipedia
I understand that it wasn’t the perfect edit as I am quite new new Wikipedia but I personally think that the letter from William De la pole, Duke of Suffolk to his son before his died is important and should be on his Wikipedia page. If you could tell me what I can do to make it a good contribution.

Im new to wikipedia
I have 2 questions; i accidntally found your account while surfing on recent changes, how do i change references on pages when the format is just something like [References something] Second question how do i change my username Okascfklk (talk) 21:19, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Okascfklk (talk) 21:19, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Okascfklk
Hi Okascfklk, Thank you for reaching out
1, what do you mean by "References"? Do you mean you need help citing sources?
2, Usernames can be changed only by global renamers; requests should be made at Wikipedia:Changing username. User accounts with few or no edits might not be renamed, as it is quicker and easier to simply create a new account.
3, Please proofread your entries on Wikipedia talkpages, even if it means making multiple edits. Others may by a little bit more nitpicky than me when it comes to adding proofread/spellchecked entries.
Hope this helps, 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔 (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi, please don't report vandals to AIV until they've vandalised after an appropriate warning. There is no point leaving a warning then reporting them to AIV before they've edited again. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:22, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to 2023 Sudan clashes: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Firestar464 (talk) 00:07, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

Joan Finney Article
I noticed on my WatchList that you recently reverted vandalism to the Joan Finney article by User talk:2604:CA00:1C8:99B3:0:0:662:1A25, and I was wondering if you were recommending any further action should be taken to either block this user or semi-protect the article because other recent acts of vandalism to the Joan Finney article by that user have also been reverted. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments regarding this matter. TommyBoy (talk) 00:15, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- I'll keep an eye out for any unconstructive edits this IP performs until May. If he does not make unconstructive edits until May, the April edits will become stale, and we will have to wait for another 4 reverted edits in order to qualify for a block 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒔 (talk) 01:11, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

Revert
Hi, this was a perfectly legit edit you reverted: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Solar_deity&oldid=1152056987
I removed a bunch of stuff that is unrelated to the article and is already discussed on the Christmas page (which is linked to). The relevant part, the specific theory that relates to Sol Invictus, was left intact. The Zodiac section has been marked for years as unreliably sourced and looks like original research, so I removed that too. Rather than revert the whole edit, please edit back in the specific information you think is missing from the edit. Reverting the edit did not leave the article in a better state. 76.135.106.145 (talk) 07:42, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
